A basic tear down. You would have to replace the roof, remove drywall wall, treat the mold, rescreen the pool, and a lot of the space needs to be reconfigured. And that's what we can see. I love all the windows.
My max offer would be $500k. It going to take $1.2 million to restore.
Maybe but I have no experience in restoration
This house is a total gut job. If it gets sold for the amount they are asking, it might cost the same amount to renovate the whole house maybe more.
The potential of that house is amazing. I honestly think it would take at least a mil to restore it. Hopefully someone can.
Another great video Kaleb! Keep ‘em coming!
I hope so too! 🙂 Thanks for watching my videos and for your support.
Yikes. Better get a steal on it! Gotta be taken down to the studs even the exterior stucco would have to go. I see potential but most would demolish and start over.
It does require a lot of work! I hope someone can restore it over tearing it down…but let’s see what happens. Thanks for always watching my videos. Have a great week!
Worth about $300gs. That’s about it. Gona need a ton of money to make nice
Happy Sunday Kaleb ❤! The house should be demolished. If not, it doesn't worth $300,000..Will cost over one million dollars or more to restore. I would be afraid to go in because of alligators and snakes, 🏃! Could be used by Disneyland as a spooky house. Be safe!
Happy Sunday! I see everyone has a different view for this home and I respect each idea! The land and location itself are great! Thanks for always watching. Have a great week!
Agree 💯
Hey Kaleb. Interesting. Nice neighborhood. Nicely gated. Large home. Sitting for years? So who’s been cutting the grass, the bank? Beautiful pool once revamped. Guest house. A mil for basics. This is shy 8000 sq ft. A mil and maybe a 1/2 total with structural changes and upgrades. That room is in the garage. It’s storage. No sense commenting my usual comments. But there is as you say great potential once revamped. The jetted bathtub in that first possible primary tub looks new. 🤷🏻♀️. Wonderful 2 laundry 🧺 rooms. Kaleb your glass is always 1/2 full. Love it. Haven’t been to Universal since 2019. Milkshakes not my thing. If I have 1 per year that’s a lot. Cheesecake my thing so might try. Yes. Hip to Temu. Got some nice things for the home and hubby. Thanks for sharing and grand week to both. 🤗
Hey Kaleb, At one time this was a Beautiful Manson. I believe it will take between $2,000.000-$3,000.000 to really bring back to it's originality. Kaleb you are more braver, than I, By going in this abandoned house, I wouldn't go near it. Loved the ice cream 🤩🤩
Thank you for watching Jill!
Another great video, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you again Kevin!
WOW, thanks for the wonderful tour. You and your lady friend are lovely together. I'm still looking for a modest home in Florida. I think your channel is very good.
Thank you so much Charlotte! I appreciate you watching! 🙂🙏🏽
I'm not sure why I both love and hate this house. There's so much "living" space, almost too much. I actually liked the kitchen. I especially loved the pool area. I think nearly 1mil is way too much to pay for that. By the time you redo the roof, all the walls, ceilings, insulation, fix all the water leaks, mould, carpet, pool, landscaping...it's going to be ½ to ¾ of a million just to fix properly. (Transparency...I don't live in the US so my guesstimate is probably way off😂)
The only thing is, as you were walking through, I got a really creepy feeling. There is something not quite right with that house or the land it's sitting on. Yes I am 100% aware I sound nuts. I think I sound nuts. But there you go 😂
I get you! I had the same feeling while doing the tour! 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching the video and for your feedback! I value all comments. Have a great week!
I thought the same thing and I don't think we're nuts. 😊 There's something off about the house and the grounds.
I agree! Something unsavoury happened there aside from the foreclosure.
So beautiful.
I always get nervous when you tour these abandoned places. Hopefully someone can bring it back to live, it won't be me, lol. Thanks Kaleb, nice shirt!
I know! It’s always an adventure and you never know what you will find! 🤣 Glad you liked my shirt! 🙂
That house is fantastic, it would great to rent it out for special events and parties. 🎉
Totally! I think it has unlimited potential. 👍
this house has so much potential!
Yes it does!
Usually when you show these I cringe but I see the beauty in this one I can only imagine how beautiful it would be but this at least a million dollar project it needs a lot of work water damage ain't no joke
I agree! Thank you for your feedback!
The city does not justify the current list price. House is a tear down. Anyone wishing to renovate will NEVER recoup the cost. RUN!
Agree 💯
Nice shirt!
Thanks! 👕It was hot out there, but the shirt helped.
Absolutely loved the mansion, gave me 1980s Miami Vice vibes. I estimate at least $500k for repairs. Great video.
I’m glad you loved it! Thanks for watching my videos!
I would definitely have a general contractor, structural engineer, Plummer and electrician tour the house with me prior to making an offer. Because the house is so old and dated, I would want to deduct the cost of repairs into the offering price. The drive way needs to be replaced and new cement poured. Customer closets, new drywall, pool reconstructed and replaced, lighting updated, hvac updated, everything brought to code, new doors, garage doors, roof, paint, alarm system, appliances , the list is extensive! The bank needs to offload it for cheap! Suck up the loss.
Thank you for watching! 🙂
Kaleb, this house can be made to be the house 🏡🏡 that it once was!! It needs lots of work to restore it to it's former self!! I know that it can be done!! Otherwise, it's a nice home 🏠🏡!! When they get done with it?? You won't recognize it!! Thank you for sharing this with us!!
Thanks for always watching Janet! It is a house with tons of potential! I would love to see it come back to life! Have a great week!
I know that you will keep me updated on this house 🏠🏡!! You, also, have a good night 🌃🌉!!
Where there has been water intrusion there will be mold. Remediation will, at the very least, mean ripping out lots of drywall and insulation. Mold can be insidious and difficult to remove 100%, so it's not unlikely that most of the interior will have to be gutted. Then there is the layout, which might not appeal to a Big Bucks client. In the end, the entire place might need to be bulldozed.
It's sad that a house that cost millions could become worthless in just a few years. If the owner had replaced the roof and had installed a caretaker to keep it in good order, it might have been a valuable property. Dated, to be sure, but just in need of cosmetic renovation. But neglect, especially in the humid Florida climate, can wreak havoc.
Let this be a lesson to other owners of vacant property.
Thanks for watching my videos. It’s sad we don’t know the story of this home and why it got to this condition, but hopefully someone can find its value. Have a great week.
The gate guy is right, that's why price drop. I'd offer 750k!
Might be easier to tear it down and start over. But there are parts that are nice like the kitchen
Thank you for your feedback!
Thanks for showing us around the home Kaleb. Very sad to see, can you imagine what that was like when it was new? It is a write-off now. 😢 There are better options to spend a fortune on.
Yes I can’t imagine how it used to be. There will be someone that will take this as an investment…I’m pretty sure of that. Have a great week and thanks for watching.
Mashaallah ❤️
AMEI A CASA 🥰🇧🇷🙏
EU QUERO COMPRA-LA!
EU GASTARIA $700 PARA RENOVA-LA.
-Colocaria os gabinetes da cozinha na garagem e reformaria completamente a cozinha!
Probably 1-2 million to renovate.
Even if I could afford it, I wouldn't want it.
That’s going to take for to restore that house $1-5.million it needs a total rebuild
Thanks for watching and for your feedback! It will require a lot of work and money.
I thought you were turning into an urbanX for a minute. 😂 That house is going to take 700k-1m to renovate. It’s a total gut and probably has structural issues from sitting uncared for for so long.
That would have to be picked up by a contractor, for an individual to hire somebody to do the work that would cost a fortune.
Thank you watching and sharing your thoughts Mike! Hope you have a great week!
This house just ooze's 1980's
@least $1million to repair or knock it down and start over
That’s probably true! There’s gotta be someone out there that could make it work. 🙂
it will be a bare minimum of $90-$110 per square ft to clean out and remodel everything with upgraded lighting, plumbing etc. i would figure 1 million remodel budget
Thank you for your feedback Scott!
At least a million dollars to bring back to life... hence the reason other developers have bowed out
Gut renovation and will cost around 3.5 million
This house is crazy!!! What happened for it to get this bad??
I don’t know the story…sadly! Hopefully someone can bring it back to life.
The price got to drop lower it a lots of work
It’s a lot of work for sure! Thanks for watching!
My wife and I were talking about this during the video and agreed that it would cost over a million dollars to renovate so the offer would be under 500,000, then tear it down and build new. Not worth a renovation.
Thank you for your feedback and watching my channel!🙂
Hey Caleb, how do I get in touch with you on this house? I’m a GC in Orlando.
Hey Michael, please email me kalebshawhomes@gmail.com
This property will require approximately 800K to be properly restored. Who would spend $990,000 for a non-inhabitable property? The most anyone should ever pay for this run-down place is $500,000. You can't get this place insured until you have invested approximately 1.5 million. Go ahead, try to get property insurance in Florida without cleaning up all those trees. This is why the property has been sitting vacant for so long.
Monthly HOA? For that asking price, the HOA should be non-existent 😂😂
How you got HOA fees an that house looks like that on the outside who they think they fooling
😂😅
HOA way too expensive
Who wants to buy a big ass house and deal with all that crap cleaning better of just destroy that shit and just have a nice brand new house a small one.
cheaper to demo and rebuild, it just did not work on many levels
It would cost about 2.8 million so I would offer 600k all cash so you have about 3.4 in it I would try to sell it for 4 million dollars
Hi Steven. Thanks for your comment. It does requires a lot of money to restore! 😅 thanks for supporting my channel. Happy Sunday.
Was it haunted?
🤣🤣 I hope not!
OVER PRICED NICE VIDEO
Thanks for watching 🙂
It will take millions to repair
I will never pay HOA never waste of money
This home can’t be saved. Majority of the house are outdated. Loved the property and it needs to be completely rebuilt and bring everything up to date. I would go for the land about $300k.
Wow. It has potential. Sad.
Way too high, it's gonna cost the price to fix up! 😂
U guys not paying attention
It’s a Halloween special
Didn’t you notice the music?
Hahahaha you got it right! 😆
I was so nervous watching this. Abandoned and you hadn't walked it before filming. Nervous!
haha thank you for watching! It was intense!
I will pay $500k
Way too much money needed to renovate this. Would be better to just demolish it and build from scratch. This likely has mold in the walls, all the rooms are outdated, the bedrooms are small for such a big house. The flooring needs to be replaced, ceilings are low, etc
Ugh what a mess!!!!!!!!!
