With the Paloma in a Collins glass with ice you can also use 11/2 oz. Patron 1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice top with squirt pinch of salt. Lime wheel garnish. You can also rim the glass with salt too if you like. Delicious.
MrFredenza no problem i got the recipe from a Mexican friend who use to tend bar in Mexico. He also said instead of using squirt soda you can use fresh squeezed grape fruit. "And it is delicious". lol
The 12oz Paloma I serve calls for 1.5oz silver, .5oz fresh lime juice, topped with Jarritos grapefruit. Have you tried adding .5oz Campari? Some people really like it. Me, not so much.
You can honestly use any tequila you'd like but the mixto tequilas.."jose" .are not good.....but will taste fine in the sangria.... thanks for the question and thanks for watching
MrFredenza thanks for answer me. Beside that . It’s if I want a strong sangria it’s better with tequila or with white rum ? ... hi from Dominican Republic.
MrFredenza thanks for answer me. Beside that . It’s if I want a strong sangria it’s better with tequila or with white rum ? ... hi from Dominican Republic.
Thanks. I keep seeing "fill with orange juice" for Tequila Sunrise recipes. But it depends on the size of the glass surely? I mean I can see _roughly_ what amounts of orange juice are going in, but I need to be sure. The last drink looked lovely, but I don't know where I'd get raspberry puree.
aerialkate great question. The glass I was using is called a Catalina glass 14.5 oz. typically when it says fill with a juice is ranges between 3 - 5 o8z depending on glass size. Most Collins glasses are between 11 and 14 oz. Thanks again.
I'm trying to get over the Jag in the Golden Raspberry. How does that even fit with peach vodka, raspberry, and tequila? Has any one had one to be able to explain the flavor? I'm not a big Jagmeister (sp?) fan, but the rest of the drink sounds delicious.
Hi Fred I’m just learning how to Bartend and I get quite a few request on Tom Collins drinks can you maybe give me some tips on how to make Tom Collins drinks? I would sure appreciate it🙂
All the drinks look good. But I must say, you spilled a good bit of liquor on the bar. The bar rescue dude would say. Tighten your spouts or invest in new one to save that money. I will try these wonderful looking drinks at home.
He stresses tequila quality because tequila quality is important with any tequila drinks. Solid brands to stick with where quality is 100%= cazadores, or don julio. Both are smooth enough to drink by themselves, wouldnt even need to mix unless you wanted to.
I've always wondered... How do the bartenders tell when they've reached the appropriate quantity of each liquor without measuring it? The length of the pour from the spout?
It’s a time thing, and you get better with practice. I personally don’t like free pouring as I feel recipes are created with very specific measures to create very specific drinks, and so ~kind of~ 1oz is not what the drink was intended to taste like. It’s all personal preference though!
Hello there! I came initially after I watched a movie called "Hard boiled" where the protagonist liked his tequila shaken with soda. Turns out there's more to the recipe and so many more opportunities for experimentation. Nice channel, wish I could drop by the bar if I travel there. Could you tell your address please? -Bob
Yes I agree the Jose Cuervo Especial is Crap and as for Sauza it's Bullshit Tequila I don't like it at all. I like 1800 or Herradura or if I can find it I get Cabo Wabo and Riazul :) Then if I want to save some money I get the Camarena :D
Yup that is true I just agreed with MrFredenza on what he said in the video. I never had Lunazul or Olmeca Altos Reposado, and Espolon. Out of those 3 witch is your best? I don't have any of those were I am from. But I could try one of them if I go done state.
I take it you don't like Cuervo Tequila for cocktails. My client gifted me a bottle from his mothers stash. I know what Tequila not to waste my drinking money on. Cheers!
thomasthatsit wrong. grenadine is as much pomegranate syrup as it is cherry syrup, which is to say not at all. The ingredients are: high fructose corn syrup, water, citric acid, natural and unnatural flavors, preservatives, and dye. Nary a fruit to be found.
Oh for God's sake, that's what you took from this video?? Are you a bartender? I am, and I can tell you that I watch all of his videos not for "make at home" drinks (is there a difference?)....but just for inspiration or knowledge of drinks I may have never heard of. Just make and drink your tasty drink and cool out on the knit picking the little stuff.
Philip Jacobs... yeah and you make drinks for friends and never touch the garnish or ice cubes with your fingers? Did you ever order a drink in a restaurant? You can't tell me you get up from your table and go watch the bar tender make your drink. To make sure they don't get their fingers in the way of a pour. You drink finger dirt in cocktails all the time and don't even know it. I'm sure he washes his hands thoroughly before serving customers.
who did your Buret-eye surgery? or are you under the notion that you can just eyeball it from making thousands of drinks over the years? cause that's what is called a Farce, and either you are just over pouring and serving which cuts your bottom line (even if it brings in more tips) or it is negligent at best.

It does sound great!! Ill have to try it!!! Thanks for watching!!
Youre awesome DUDE! I really like watching your videos!
+TheRealReaper 21 Thank you!!! Always more to come!!
On Texas Two Step, can one use Grand Marnier instead of Triple Sec. How does flavor differ?
Both triple sec and Grand Marnier are Orange flavored....but Grand Manier is top shelf. Better orange flavor and quality. Thanks for watching...
I've come to find that adding some simple syrup (say, 22.5 ml) to the Paloma enhances it for me.
Thanks for the video my man.
So glad to see a legit Paloma. It became my #1 drink recently.
Awesome!!!

I've always wondered... How do the bartenders tell when they've reached the appropriate quantity of each liquor without measuring it? The length of the pour from the spout?
Brandon Jeffers they count seconds the spouts are valved down.
It’s a time thing, and you get better with practice. I personally don’t like free pouring as I feel recipes are created with very specific measures to create very specific drinks, and so ~kind of~ 1oz is not what the drink was intended to taste like. It’s all personal preference though!

Do you have any non- alcoholic cocktails? Just asking
I am working on one...
I can't drink because of my meds. That's why I asked
I’ve never had a tequila sunrise, I love tequila just can’t imagine it being good with OJ....

Tequila Sunrise is delicious!!! Try it!!!
MrFendenza Can i use any other stuff other then grenadine?
Any Cherry Syrup will work!!! Good Luck!!!
You should invent one called smooth as Tennessee whiskey like the song
Great. Mr. Fred, can you mix a "Vampiro"?
*Tequila Sunrise !*
+Mafaka Hnamte - MIZORAM yessssss
The paloma comes with salt rim and grapefruit soda, not a juice, the name of that soda is squirt
Great information...thanks for watching and commenting
I have a curiosity, who drinks all this drink? lol
Congrats on the videos! Hugs!
+Fábio Eufrazio the director cameraman editor and host. Lmao
really like your video, but some ingredients are hard to be found in China......LOL....anyways keep going
By hard you mean impossible. Also financially not viable for some of the ones you can get.
How many ounces do bartenders usually put in the drink? Is 1.5 oz standard?
Depends on location and size of glass but anywhere from 1oz to 2oz. Most are 1.25 oz
Thanks for watching
The Tequila Sunrise goes down fast. Too fast! 🍻
Lol. Yes it does... thanks for watching

Hay I don't know why some bartenders do this but Grenadine IS NOT Cherry juice, it is pomegranate juice.
Blue tequila with lime pineapple milk

why you use cherry syrup instead of normal grenadine?
I prefer the cherry syrup over the grenadine, but most bars/restaurants carry grenadine.
