Diego Simeone´s son is also playing at Napoli this season, and scored his first Champions League goal, which made him cry during his celebration since it always looked like an impossible dream for someone who had a career in mid to low table clubs up to that point. Napoli´s truly the working class club. They have to work twice as hard for their successes, but that´s why they taste ten times sweeter than those of the big clubs.
I watched Napoli's first game this season it was a Monday game away at Hellas Verona and I saw some guy named Kvara starting and honestly I was questioning why isn't Raspadori starting as he was great at Sassuolo or maybe even Simeone who was class at Verona. But Kvara guy played so good it was an amazing performance. Then he scored a banger vs Monza in the next game. And it was known that this guy can be a world beater
@@FootballAndSuch it was earlier. Ajax could buy him for 15M after they were tipped by John van Loen who then worked in Georgia. Kvara wanted to but Overmars blocked the deal.
As an Inter fan, I'm so happy for Spalletti. During his time at Inter, he had to deal with a lot of locker room drama and still found a way to rally the troops and get us back to back champions league qualifications, something that we didn't achieve before him for many years. I'll always like him
It was crazy last night everywhere in and around Naples. I live in a small city nearby and it was one epic party in the streets. The people are extremely passionate and proud of their club. These are some unforgettable scenes.
Forza Napoli! Growing up in England, Italian football was all over our screens in the 90s. Fiorentina's flamboyant Nintendo shirts and Batistuta inspired me then - and Mazzarri & Sarri's Napoli teams reignited my love. So happy the perennial nearly-men have pulled it off again (Spaletti included).
Its unreal that Serie A has 5 teams left in all European Competitions yet none of the top two are involved innit. 4 different champions in 4 seasons in Serie A, its by far the most competitive league amongst the top 5. Hopefully Italian FA realizes the potential rather than being boomers at their job
Well, Napoli and Lazio were involved until recently. Napoli and Milan were drawn to eliminate each other unfortunately but it could have gone either way if I'm honest, Milan definitely has the European pedigree but is not like Napoli didn't show his control and dominance in the games. Lazio was object of very bad luck: everyone in their group ended up with 8 points and they got eliminated by a goal difference of one goal (then they did perform poorly in Conference League). So it goes even more to your point: Serie A potentially could have had more than 5 teams in Europe.
@Charles Your argument is not even coherant. Serie A does not have good football its a mickey mouse league by any standards the fact Napoli can run away with the league without a challenge cuz everyone else is doing so poor is not proof that Serie A is even remotely good. Your argument about oil money is not a dig at PL cuz oil money or not PL was always bigger than Serie A, its none argument. Oil money would never come to Serie A due to socialist polices that have destroyed the game and quality the simple fact 95% don't even own their own stadiums proof Serie A is a poor and low quality football game that truly has no passion. Look at the performance of Serie A last 20 years tells how bad the league has been.
Serie A has improved rapidly in the last 3-4 years. It's been more competitive with 4 different winners in a row, and they have five teams left in Europe with a Milan derby in the UCL semi final
Just got back from Napoli. Everywhere in the city and surrounding area is Napoli flags, banners, Maradona, more banners, you get the point. It’s beautiful
If Luton Town win promotion to the EPL via the play offs I suppose you could do a video on their drastic fall and then rise through the divisions from when they fell dropped from the 2nd tier all the way down to the 5th tier of the conference in succesive seasons and have since climed all the way back up' of course Luton were top flight regulars just before the foundation of the Premier League and were actually among the original 22 clubs that negotiated to break away from the football League but they were relegated in 1992 which was a season before the EPL started so never actually got to play in it
I think Alfie did a video on it around this time last year when they reached the play offs for the first time (they lost in the semis against Huddersfield) but I think it would be well worth an updated version.
Last sunday the Maradona was filled to the brim. 60.000 fans were chanting for 90 minutes straight, waving flags and tens of thousands more were waiting in plazas and outside the ground, while obviously millions were glued to the tv, waiting for a victory against salernitana that could have started the party. Osimhen was nutmegged by Dia, that then went on to score an amazing goal, meaning that the game finished 1-1. When the final whistle blew, Victor bursted into tears. He had been supernaturally good thus far, and he gave everything in that game. Most players would head straight to the dressing room, but Victor didn't. That shows you how much this group of players loves the city back. They could leave this summer, but much like Lavezzi, Cavani, Hamsik, Mertens, Insigne, Maggio and many, many more, their home will forever be here, as they showed a love that only a neapulitan could have for Napoli
The moment I saw Napoli win the league today, I knew Alfie will make a video about it and couldn’t wait for it. But didn’t know it would be this fast!!

The way I've always watched sports was i cheer for the players i like not a team i don't live anywhere were these teams reside so i don't see the point. but napoli was the exception. i endured a couple years of mid teams until this happened this year. safe to say on paper this year i thought we would be a lot worse but i was wrong
An amazing video for which I was waiting the whole season! I said waiting as I was waiting for you exactly to do it because no one does these types of videos more throughout. I know some people like quicker and more easily comprehensible materials but your videos are almost like a movies even though usually there are only pictures! Thanks a lot!!!
Day 1: 7 Best Loan moves ever. The loan moves that have greatly benefited the team receiving the player for a limited amount of time. While not exactly the best, I always think of Morientes to Monaco as an example. Also, I'm very happy for Napoli, who has come so close yet so far in recent years. They finally got what they were capable of for so long
If Napoli cannot hold on to Min-Jae, the good news there is that they have Leo Østigård ready to step up. I had hoped that Leo would received more game time, but realized have brilliant Min-Jae has been. Still, Leo still just 23 years old, have a huge potential, very good on the header and a good football brain. Hope he can make it in the club next season.
As an Arsenal fan, [some cliche platitudes] 😁 Seriously though, Napoli deserves their success this season. They have just been pleasantly dominant, playing perfect football with such adorable unity. Kudos.
I`ve seen Napoli a few times on TV this season and they are really impressive. Their work rate off the ball is outstanding, some of the best I`ve ever seen. Their fitness levels must be off the chants. I honestly thought they had a great chance of winning the Champions League but sadly they fell short.
These guys grow up in Napoli(except the new signings). They get married, have their first kids in Naples. It becomes a 2nd home to them. Mertens owns a house in Naples, he was just there when Galatasaray gave their players a 2 day break. I remember when Matteo Politano(A die hard Roma fan) didn't want to come to Napoli. Lorenzo Insigne had to talk him into it. Now he bleeds blue and white and doesn't want to leave. His kids speak Neapolitan. Ziekinski also got married and had his first child while at Napoli. Meret the same. All these boys are gonna be legends for years to come. Even if we win more scudetti or *knock on wood* in Europe(my dream is to win the UCL), this squad will always be remembered. Great video Alfie. You did your research for this one. A lot of the points you made(especially about ADL) were only reported by Italian speaking news sources. Grazie for sharing and Go Tigers!(I decided to play with Hull City about 7, 8 years ago in PES and have been following them ever since)
Thanx for the Napoli history lesson. I've been a Napoli fan since I was stationed there in the 70s, it was the best time of my life. The city and people are special and radical fanatics. This team has been on the up since Sarri and are showing Italian football doesn't have to be dull. Last thing , I'm amazed by the deals the upper management team and scouting team pull off. Would love to see a Italian victory over MC.
The home of Maradona for a period don't forget its like Messi playing for you at the peak of his career something that's simply unthinkable today it really was a different time back them but nowadays clubs like Man City have such an open checkbook that it's basically impossible for clubs like Napoli to compete in the current climate and the current financial state of Seria A isn't in great shape and certainly far behind the EPL with its mega TV deals
Napoli are one of my favourite respective teams daily and ever in this world and other planets and I did expect them go all the way to be winning the Italian Serie A title around the matchday twenty seven and they have finally won it for the first time since 1989/1990 season, good friends!!!CONGRATULATIONS TO NAPOLI FOR BEING THE ITALIAN SERIE A CHAMPIONS AND YOU DESERVE THE TITLE!!!LONG LIVE NAPOLI!!!🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️
I remember a couple of seasons ago they were knocking on the door but then they needed a few more years to get their things together and really push for that success but I'm glad they made it there, too often we see teams almost reach greatness only to fall down (Tottenham, Lille etc) But I'm glad Napoli held on and look set to have a great decade.
De Laurentiis is born in Rome, but his family comes from Torre Annunziata (Naples), this is one of the causes of his interest in Napoli team, according to his latest statements.
Although I'm a Milan for 30 years, I can't tell you how happy I am wating this Napoli team, standing toe to toe with Man-City, s the best club in the world, that plays the best football in the world, along with Man City! I know Osimhen has been given an offer of 8 or 9 millions per season, and t... I hope he accepts it and stay in Napoli fo rat least 2 more seasons! It'll be great to see them again in Serie A,winning the Scudetto and attacking UCL trophy!

"it felt like the heart was wrentched from the club" couldn't have been said better, the players I grew up loving all left in a instant. surreal. only wish insigne could've won with us that man is a goat.
The historic Euro 2020 campaign greatly helped Italy for developing a football. Although the 2022 World Cup was such an embarrassing because they lost to North Macedonia, the club at least fared better. In the last season, Roma won the Conference League. Now, up to 5 Italian clubs are still in contention. One of the Champions League finalists went to Milan and both Roma and Juventus had a chance to stage an all-Italian Europa League Final this year.

Napoli had the potential to win everything this season, but injuries really put them down hard and without their top guys in front they suffered significantly. I would even argue that Napoli is by far not as good now as they were for roughly 2/3 of the season. That being said, I am still very glad they won the Scudetto - almost as glad as I would be if I would see an Austrian Wunderteam video on this channel 😇✌.
As a Milan fan, I hope Napoli manage to keep hold of these gems, except ofc if Milan buys one of them, which won't happen and even if we do I hope not Kvara as it would be a crime to bench either him or Leao. I just hope they remain so they keeps the league competitive and bring back the glory days of Serie A.
What a dream season for Napoli! I only followed Napoli because of Kim Min Jae; but I fell in love with Napoli. Their passion and loyalty. It was unbelievable. They are my team in Serie A.
There really should be a Coventry City video on HITC Sevens. We’ve seen Luton & I really would of expected a Coventry City one by now. From SISU and the clubs fall into L2 to the remarkable job Mark Robins has done and now the new owner. It’s a really good story.
5th request: @HITCSevens Idea for episode: the 7 players currently playing in the lowest division in England to have played (or still playing) senior international football. Eg Knory Scott plays for Bermuda + Hastings Utd (level 7); Anthony Jeffrey plays for Guyana + Billericay Town (7). I bet you can find someone below Level 7 🙂
Congratulations to Napoli, domination, beautiful football, phenomenal atmosphere of these so loyal, long-suffering fans of this team! (the people of Naples) 🇮🇹🔵 The magical Kvara 🇬🇪🎩💎⚽😈, the ever so deadly infront of goal Osimhen ⚽🥅🎯🥵🥶 This Napoli team cemented their place in history books 📖 👏🥳🔵🔵🏆
I randomly happened to follow Mr. Osimhen under Gennaro Gattuso. I´m not sure which point his injuries happened in relation to that time, but he wasn´t really firing at the time. He actually looked clumsy, slightly insecure and also unfortunate. He tried yes, which usually ended up with free kicks for the opposition, and maybe the transfer fee weighed on the shoulders of the young man. However, he didn´t seem talentless of a bad player, just raw and adapting to new environment, maturing as a player and a person. Maybe injuries played part in the troubles back then as well. I sort of understood why Gattuso played him all game every game, but sometimes I felt he needed substitution. Mr. Osimhen showed glimpses of his quality to come, and now he is a true force, fortunately in Hapoli, I´ve been getting bored with juventus and milan teams dominating Serie A. As is with Bayern München, PSG (even though they slipped!), Barcelona & real madrid with random Atletico Madrid -seasons once a decade, and of course ManCity, who wipes ass with "financial fair game" -rules even more blatantly than any other club, and then not giving a shit, and not having actual sanctions... But it is what it is. Did you know that qatar also bought the men´s basketball world championships 2027? In very peculiar happenstance, NO other nations or places competed for this FIBA -tournament with qatar in the last round. Seems like mr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyhesus, a veterinarian, not a doctor of human things, also head of WHO, has been coordinating that process as well...
Fun fact: it took to get rid off Hamšík, Insigne, Mertens and Koulibaly to win the Scudetta 😅 hope Koulibaly is happy at Chelsea watching Napoli dominating all season and playing CL next year whilst he will sit in front of the big telly he could finally afford with the Chelsea wage. p Popcorn included 💙💙💙

Napoli won and from that moment on i did everything in my power to learn anything i could about the sport. Research the greats go back and watch thousands of hours worth of games. The way I've always watched sports was i cheer for the players i like not a team i don't live anywhere were these teams reside so i don't see the point. but napoli was the exception. i endured a couple years of mid teams until this happened this year. safe to say on paper this year i thought we would be a lot worse but i was wrong
Napoli fan since birth. We’ve been eating your shit for decades. Now we finally get the respect we deserve 💙💙💙
as a Napoli fan i'm so proud that my team is getting the recognition we deserve
Great comprehensive breakdown on this team’s success and history
Shots fired CFC love your channel HITC thank you for the content
They finally got what they were capable of for so long
Outspoken..... Now THAT is an understatement
As an Arsenal fan, [some cliche platitudes] 😁
Seriously though, Napoli deserves their success this season. They have just been pleasantly dominant, playing perfect football with such adorable unity. Kudos.
The De Laurentiis family are historically from Torre Annunziata, a suburb of Naples. So, I would not describe Aurelio De L as a Romano.
I`ve seen Napoli a few times on TV this season and they are really impressive. Their work rate off the ball is outstanding, some of the best I`ve ever seen. Their fitness levels must be off the chants. I honestly thought they had a great chance of winning the Champions League but sadly they fell short.
Last time Napoli won the league, my sister was born, now they won again and she's having a baby, funny how life works sometimes
Grazie for sharing and Go Tigers!(I decided to play with Hull City about 7, 8 years ago in PES and have been following them ever since)
Hull City B-, Hull Hull City B-🎶
absolutely brilliant analysis, loved the video
I dunno if people realise what an accomplishment it was for Napoli to win those titles in the late 80s with Maradona.
@@dreadelectric7745 seriously other teams in Italy were stacked it was a huge achivement
Banger of a week every coffee break this week has been 👌👌
Napoli are one of my favourite respective teams daily and ever in this world and other planets and I did expect them go all the way to be winning the Italian Serie A title around the matchday twenty seven and they have finally won it for the first time since 1989/1990 season, good friends!!!CONGRATULATIONS TO NAPOLI FOR BEING THE ITALIAN SERIE A CHAMPIONS AND YOU DESERVE THE TITLE!!!LONG LIVE NAPOLI!!!🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️
Absolute banger of a vid Alfie
De Laurentiis is born in Rome, but his family comes from Torre Annunziata (Naples), this is one of the causes of his interest in Napoli team, according to his
latest statements.
Wise choice uploading hours after Napoli just won the title.
The Jae in Kim Min Jae is pronounced much more like Jay. The actual pronunciation is most similar to "eh" with a J in front of it.
Would love to see a video on the rise of RC Lens, who are looking for UCL qualification and even challenging PSG for Ligue 1
Thanks for this video! What a cool story that I hadn’t really tracked.
Naples is one of the craziest cities I’ve ever been too… the club is just as mental, but they are LOVED in Naples in a way that I can‘t compare to anywhere else in Europe
Now, do another one on how they became not so good😢
"it felt like the heart was wrentched from the club" couldn't have been said better, the players I grew up loving all left in a instant. surreal. only wish insigne could've won with us that man is a goat.

I wasn't looking for your video it just came on because I was about to press on the mancity vs real Madrid highlight lol I'm glad it came on
A champion anyone could be proud of especially considering all that was mentioned around the 30:00 That makes this campaign all that more memorable
Win everything Lmaooo 😂😂😂😂 yeah cause they was gonna beat man city sure
2 DAYS 2 VIDEOS thank you man
I never thought we would see this after ciro left. Forza Napoli!!
I am genuinely delighted for Napoli. Let's hope they win a Champions League before most of their players leave 🩵🩵🩵
We all know Alfie was waiting for Napoli to officially win the league to post this 😂
Great work HITCS ..
This was a fantastic video by the way. 🙂
They are my team in Serie A.
not to mention in 2017 we were so close to winning the whole season and threw it away in the last few games.
Love the Bob Dylan ‘money doesn’t talk it swears’ reference
It's a work that was built through many years, they were a Serie C side not even 15 years ago.
Looking forward to the Raków Częstochowa video when their Ekstraklasa 🇵🇱 title is confirmed too!
For a moment of confusion I thought: but as a player, Gartuso was not calm at all. Thanks for the resolution.
🤣
VERY good timing for this video 😂
8 months later they are mid table
There really should be a Coventry City video on HITC Sevens. We’ve seen Luton & I really would of expected a Coventry City one by now. From SISU and the clubs fall into L2 to the remarkable job Mark Robins has done and now the new owner. It’s a really good story.
We love to see this!!!
Rudi Garcia enters the chat…
Serie A in the 90's was the best era ever and doubt it will ever be matched or beaten!
Love your videos
Congratulations to Napoli, domination, beautiful football, phenomenal atmosphere of these so loyal, long-suffering fans of this team! (the people of Naples) 🇮🇹🔵
The magical Kvara 🇬🇪🎩💎⚽😈, the ever so deadly infront of goal Osimhen ⚽🥅🎯🥵🥶
This Napoli team cemented their place in history books 📖
👏🥳🔵🔵🏆
El chucky lozano one of the most underrated players at napoli
Brilliant piece
Now make why Napoli became so bad
Fun fact: it took to get rid off Hamšík, Insigne, Mertens and Koulibaly to win the Scudetta 😅
hope Koulibaly is happy at Chelsea watching Napoli dominating all season and playing CL next year whilst he will sit in front of the big telly he could finally afford with the Chelsea wage. p
Popcorn included 💙💙💙
Thank you kavaradona and Victor osimhen
Great content.
