Gotta admit, when I first visited Italy, as a 19 year old kid, to see Italia '90, we landed at Malpensa Milano & worked our way down, first to Rimini (for the Belgium game), then to Genoa & all down the West Coast to Roma (to watch Italy v Ireland) & finally Napoli (Cameroon). All the way down, everywhere we went, when we told them we were heading for Naples they told us not to go. They said everyone from Naples was a thief & a crook & that they'd rob us if we went there. Still, f**k that, it was the Quarter Final of the World Cup so of course we were going & when we finally arrived we were totally surprised. They were the most welcoming people in Italy. They took us in, made us feel at home & really looked after us. They even went out of their way to make sure we got to Turin for the Semi Final safely. Honestly, I'll never forget what they did for us. Great people. Forza Napoli!
cant say much for the people but afte walking round naples for a little while i came to the conclusion that the place is the ugliest city in europe and i live next to glasgow (and thats saying something)
@sempre! podcast You're absolutely right! Napoli chooses you! I stayed in Napoli last October and as soon as I got off the Metro off Museo I knew it! Napoli had something for me. I came back to California just to sell all my stuff because I'm planning on moving to Napoli in October 2017!!!!
Yeah, it's strange you saying that because I felt a kinda kinship for the City too, as if in some weird way it felt right to be there. Maybe it was just all the stunningly beautiful women lol but I felt a real connection inside to the City. I'm sure you'll love living there.
Salaattii Salaattii it's nice to know some people from Finland supporting Napoli! I'm a Neapolitan guy and I wish to visit your country soon! I'm a big fan of a Finnish singer called Tarja 😁
Same! From Philadelphia PA USA. Been a fan since 2013 when cavani played. And thag blue color and aggressive attitude made me fall in love with the team I never felt. Forza Napoli 💙
This is by a stretch the greatest content on Copa90 and arguably the greatest football content on youtube. Absolutely fantastic work! I love italian football fans, they're the greatest in the world. Their government really needs to bring back away fans in derby matches. The atmosphere is what MAKES italian football! Arsenal fan.
NAPOLI 1926
That's what I was thinking about the similarities of Marseille and Napoli. Hopefully sometime soon both clubs can finally become champions of the land again although it's much more difficult for OM because of obvious reasons (QSG).
Ahh.. as an Argentinian.. I LOVE Italy.. God bless you Napoli. It's like an Argentinian city - full of love for soccer, love of family, lots of wonderful human spirits, and positivity.
My family on my father's side come from Naples so Napoli is the team I support from Italy - never had the chance to visit but it would be fantastic to watch a game with that atmosphere.
I thought I was the only one from Brooklyn, NY that liked Napoli. I recently got married and for my honeymoon im going to Naples. I can't wait to take a picture next to the Stadio San Paolo with my Insigne Jersey on !
I'm a neapolitan who lives and study in Napoli, and i support Napoli, so i enjoyed the documentary, then i went looking at the comment and i was upset to read all about the bad stuff written from someone who just wants to spit on Napoli and Neapolitan and want to let others read lies. - Napoli is a big city, it has its problems, as all the big cities. - Napoli has a lot to offer on the tourism, many historical places to be visited, just as like Roma and more than Firenze, so i consider it very beautiful , misterious and fascinating, Napoli is stronghold of culture and art. - Rafael Benitez himself when he can, go to visit the city and the most important spot of the city, infact as he posts on his website there are some posts on his visits in Napoli and surrounding areas (Caserta, Amalfi etc..) - Napoli is SOUTH ITALY, it means people are different from people who live in the north, just like in Spain, the people from Andalucia are different from people who live in north, we have more passion and are more friendly than the people who live in the north. -Just as i Said, we are friendly, so the comments all about racism is totally untrue, the racist in italy live in the North, the racist known in the football are: Lazio, Atalanta, Juventus, these ones.. napoli has never had on newspaper for racism events and never will be, the city has a lot of people who come from Africa and China, and there hasn't never been an episode of racism, on the contrary there is strong aggregation between all neapolitans and the foreigns, and we're not fascist, we hate it! -About ciro esposito, he was murdered when there was the final of COppa Italia, while he was going to watch the match, by a roma supporter, who was drunk and had his club of "fascism" and when he heard neapolitan chorus he went on the street and tried to fight them alone, with a gun! and he killed ciro, but for this, you can use google, so you can see the truth -We've always one of the highest attendace of serie A, which is around 40.000 persons, if this year we didn't go to the stadium like the other years, it's because we were upset against our President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, which made some promises to make the team even stronger but he didn't spend money, so this is our protests to him and italy and south of italy is living the economic crisis which makes hard to live so people can't afford to go to stadium. - It makes me laugh the comments from people who have never been in italy, and don't know the truth, and just try to spit on Napoli just because it's fun to do. The truth is only one: Napoli is fantastic, you get to know it just if you live the atmosphere,
I'm 1 of the Napoli youth it is a once in a lifetime experience and I hope Napoli with the help of the youth like me and the older and more experienced players help try and win the league "FORZA NAPOLI"
TheTwelfthMan Maybe it's just a name that he uses for UA-cam. I did that 'til not long ago. Maybe he's a Bullet for my Valentine fan. Maybe he's an attention-seeking little mongrel. Welcome to the internet. ^_^
I really like Napoli and generally most Italian teams because I see they have a lot in common with our Greek teams and our mindset. You should do a video about a Greek team too :D
Honestly, Neapolitans are the most warm-hearted and generous people i've ever seen. They should be proud of their city, even if it's not the richest. Money doesn't matter. During my trip i never felt unsafe, so don't believe what ppl say. I really fell in love with the city and its people: They are kind, passionate, and their football team is awesome. Forza Napoli sempre! Greeting from a french fan
I started to like the Napoli team a lot the latest years, like their style of play and seems like they have great, passionate fans as well. I want to go there someday. Greetings from Sweden. And of course R.I.P. Ciro. Hope Napoli can win the Serie A soon, they deserve to!
As a canadian napoli fan, i fell in love with this club when i was 8 and I’ve never visited naples yet cause im still kinda young and one day i wish i stay there for months, watch my first game at there stadium, meet napolitan people and just vibe with them( enjoy life with them)
I love Copa90 Documentaries, they are by far the best football content on UA-cam. Hope you guys do some documentaries here in South America, the best atmosphere in the world, between Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, you have enough material for a dozen documentaries.

I am starting to like Napoli more and more. Incredible fans to say the least! I am a Leeds United fan and I know how it feels like supporting a team that's hated. So I automatically started liking Napoli because of that. Hopefully Napoli will win today in the Europa League and that I'll see them play live sometime! From a Leeds United fan, Forza Napoli!!
you can't recognize a fans of rubentus cause you don't know if he come from puglia, calabria.they are like indians that supports manchester,liverpool,etc..or bolivians who supports boca juniors .they supports a team of a city distant from their city 800 km haha
I've just recently come back from naples and went to the udinese game, stood in the curva B and loved every minute of it. 13 euros only for the ticket as well! amazing experience seeing the pride and the passion of the locals, I just wish my team Liverpool could have a similar atmosphere. the stadium itself is impressive, old fashioned but just walking up to it from the train station it is just intimidating, with its concrete exterior and security fences surrounding it all the way round. also I probably spent half the time watching the ultras, which is like massive orchestra and some of their chants are catchy as f*ck even though I had no clue what they were saying, they have one chant to the tune of 'final countdown' which I can't find on youtube. also the actual city of napoli is amazing with its cobbled streets and amazing architecture, my only regret was i didnt stay longer but will deffo go back to watch another game.
I remember going to naples and we went to a pub before going to our restaurant and when we left they tried to get us to stay because Napoli was playing and they wanted us to watch it with them
I´ve been in many places in Italy and Naples, by far, is the loveliest one to me. Some years ago Athletic Club Bilbao played against Napoli and their fans were really gentle! Very sad the story of Ciro, it makes me remember of Iñigo Cabacas our fan killed by a rubber bullet of the police.
First thing I do after Corona is going to watch Napoli, what a passion! And Mertens of course considered too little for my favourite team Anderlecht..... Just Napoli in Italy, if you Napoli fans can give me some advice or tips grazie from Belgium!
i remember when city played vs napoli in the group stage of UCl their fans were insane threw fireworks an screamd all the match.I also found this interview taken by touré after napli clash In a recent interview the ivorian midfield told about his experience in Naples a year ago in champions league. I used google translate, i'm too lazy to translate it properly sorry.. Yaya Toure does not forget the San Paolo stadium: "I shook my legs, Naples supporters has a visceral love to their club". Manchester City midfielder impressed by the atmosphere of Fuorigrotta: "I saw 80 thousand people whistle to us and i realized in what a mess we had made." "Some important game in my career I've played, but when I heard that yell was the first time I shook my legs. "Words and music by Yaya Toure, Manchester City midfielder, who still engraved in my mind the impact of the San Paolo stadium during the match of the Champions League against Napoli played last year. "In the morning we went to warm up in the pitch, Tevez was telling me about this stadium, but I, who have played in Barcelona I thought, that will never be - revealed the Ivorian to 'Sky' - Yet when I set foot on that field feel 'something magical, different." The crowd roar left Touré speechless: "In that night when there was the Champions league anthem i saw 80 thousand people whistle to us and i realized in what a mess we had been - said the midfielder - When i was there that I realized that this is not only a team for them, this is a visceral love, such as that between a mother and a son. It was the only time that I was still in the field after losing to enjoy the crowd show
Love southern Italy and especially Napoli. Something about the place, the passion, the intensity, the hands, the espresso...and of course the food. The people are real, being there is almost like being in a theatre production, the energy is incredible. Never went to the Maradona stadium, when I was there...big regret.
Matteo Conte tristemente concordo .
The film ultras on netflix explain so much now. Sandro indetifies Ciro Esposito and the match that he died is also versus Roma. Great film Great video Great club FORZA NAPOLI
I was born a Napoli fan im 🇮🇹💯% from Bensonhurst Brooklyn born and raised my moms family is Sicilian from Trapani and my dads family is Neapolitan i grew up watching Napoli with my nonna since i was born in December of 87 some of my best memories growing up were watching Napoli on my nonnas couch with her cooking and going to Italy with my family every few years my and my getting Italian citizenship at 22 FORZA NAPOLI personalmente penso che napoli sia il posto migliore in Italia

Csanád Horváth Csanad i'm sorry but you can't talk about something you don't know/live. Hate for Juventus club has historical roots that has to do with the "unification of Italy". Once, before that, south of Italy was richer than north... out of that : no one ever got shot because he's supporting too loud. I don't even know where you could have read about it.
As a kid i was always fascinated by Italian football and Napoli because of Cavani then Mertens and now Khvicha and I also like the City hope to visit it someday
If I had no interest in football and went to UA-cam with only the idea to find a video about the city of Napoli, this would be a gratifying end to that search.

you can't recognize a fans of rubentus cause you don't know if he come from puglia, calabria.they are like indians that supports manchester,liverpool,etc..or bolivians who supports boca juniors .they supports a team of a city distant from their city 800 km haha
True ahahah rube merda
Juve merda
Severo ma giusto
You guys make the best short documentary type of football vids on UA-cam. This, derby days and Away Days(which needs to come back), are so awesome.
Mahi Rahman you have to watch a CL match in Curva A. The most incredible experience of you life ;)
Alunsage Gargiulo I'd love to! It's just annoying that you can't buy tickets in England but have to buy them in person in Naples
Congratulations... I'm Neapolitan and you made me move!! Thanks for this wonderful video!!
I remember going to naples and we went to a pub before going to our restaurant and when we left they tried to get us to stay because Napoli was playing and they wanted us to watch it with them
I visited this city back in 2018. Beautiful city, passionate fans
Thanks copa90 for this video ! Curva " A " Napoli 1972 !
+Ultras Hooligans Napoli Curva A & 1860!! Best wishes from Giesing :)
GENOVA VI AMA
Do one with Dortmund, Athletico , Marseille and Fenerbahce!!!
ATLETICO!! AT LET ICO !!!
Idk how you people are so fucking stupid and ignorant to call it "Athletico"
+László Kovacs chill out its a small mistake
I´ve been in many places in Italy and Naples, by far, is the loveliest one to me. Some years ago Athletic Club Bilbao played against Napoli and their fans were really gentle! Very sad the story of Ciro, it makes me remember of Iñigo Cabacas our fan killed by a rubber bullet of the police.
Respect from FC PORTO supporter
💙
Thank you For sharing Napoli In this way,
Long Live Ciro
Manchester City midfielder impressed by the atmosphere of Fuorigrotta: "I saw 80 thousand people whistle to us and i realized in what a mess we had made."
"Some important game in my career I've played, but when I heard that yell was the first time I shook my legs. "Words and music by Yaya Toure, Manchester City midfielder, who still engraved in my mind the impact of the San Paolo stadium during the match of the Champions League against Napoli played last year.
"In the morning we went to warm up in the pitch, Tevez was telling me about this stadium, but I, who have played in Barcelona I thought, that will never be - revealed the Ivorian to 'Sky' - Yet when I set foot on that field feel 'something magical, different."
The crowd roar left Touré speechless: "In that night when there was the Champions league anthem i saw 80 thousand people whistle to us and i realized in what a mess we had been - said the midfielder - When i was there that I realized that this is not only a team for them, this is a visceral love, such as that between a mother and a son. It was the only time that I was still in the field after losing to enjoy the crowd show
could you please put a link to where you found this interview, would be kind thanks.

Best. Fans. Ever. Forza Napoli Sempre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Love southern Italy and especially Napoli. Something about the place, the passion, the intensity, the hands, the espresso...and of course the food. The people are real, being there is almost like being in a theatre production, the energy is incredible. Never went to the Maradona stadium, when I was there...big regret.

Napoli really plays exciting football and they have been exceptional in recent years. The city looks beautiful too.
Matteo Conte tristemente concordo .
Great. Thank you to show the reality of this city.
Some of the best football content on UA-cam is here, keep it up and FORZA JUVE :)
The film ultras on netflix explain so much now.
Sandro indetifies Ciro Esposito and the match that he died is also versus Roma.

What happened to the euro fan ?? We demand answers !!!
Is he dead?
Csanád Horváth Bergamo is in the south of Italy?
Ahahahahahah Csanad let's study geography
Csanád Horváth Csanad i'm sorry but you can't talk about something you don't know/live.
Hate for Juventus club has historical roots that has to do with the "unification of Italy". Once, before that, south of Italy was richer than north...
out of that : no one ever got shot because he's supporting too loud. I don't even know where you could have read about it.
Csanád Horváth you are all kinds of stupid arent you.
Forza Napoli from Poland :)
As a kid i was always fascinated by Italian football and Napoli because of Cavani then Mertens and now Khvicha and I also like the City hope to visit it someday
Thanks copa for this video. FORZA NAPOLI
If I had no interest in football and went to UA-cam with only the idea to find a video about the city of Napoli, this would be a gratifying end to that search.
I absolutely like these kind of football documentary as this one or the Wealdstone Raider one!
Napoli, Napoli, Napoli. Forza Napoli, Napoli, Napoli.
