Here's my autumn garden tour showing everything in 30 minutes. This has been filmed exactly 1 year after Gardeners World came to film my garden. There have been many changes and also LOTS more growth than just a couple of months ago when I last posted a garden tour.

It’s looking great Kris! My highlights are the Yucca rostrata out the front, that huge Borinda papyrifer, the Pseudopanax and the Princeps but everything looks fantastic especially considering the past year. The Sikkimensis has certainly come back well! I really like the new arid layout and you can really appreciate the Jubaea, Yucca linearis and different planting style now, looking forward to seeing what you do with the far end.
Thanks George, the Borinda has really spread it's wings this year so I'll be dividing that it spring along with developing the end of the garden. Your latest video deserves the big screen so I'll be watching that after Strictly!
@@YorkshireKRIS Definitely, you’ll be able to afford your own film crew after selling divisions of that beast! I’m sure your plans will really help bring that whole end of the garden together. Haha I don’t blame you if you have to skip through most of it, nothing as cinematic as the fire pit vid, pretty much just me moaning about the plants which have either not grown well or grown too much, never happy 😂
I bet you have the only front garden like that on your road! Beautiful garden, very jealous but in a good way!!
It’s a Jungle ;) great work Kris .
Looking fab as always. Really love the new paths
Fantastic Kris. Sitting at home on t’moor @334 M with a 50mph wind outside I know I can’t do that but we do what we can. Inspiring.
The winds really get up right now!
I’m a big fan of yours. All the way from California
Thank you
Apparently the tree ferns from Tasmania can get up to 4 m of rain a year!... I think it might help to have a rain gauge to monitor it. In South Wales I I get 2.9 metres of rain so not enough. I have to use a mister on a timer to keep them happy .
I get 700 to 900mm here at best
I remember when I lived in Hull as a student and thinking, it's a heck of a lot dryer on this side of Britain.
Great video as always kris. Please do the annual trachy update before winter damage sets in 👍🏼 can always do a quick follow up to show damage if thats what you want to show but will be good to see them looking there best
Yes I'll keep up with those annual videos. Probably in November though
Looks great
Thanks!
Great video as usual, Kris! What did you do to protect your large Phoenix canariensis in your front garden from the cold last winter (if anything)?
It didn't get any protection except before when snow was forecast where I tied up the leaves.
Great garden going to start one in spring 2024 any advice
Lots. Check your soil, your aspect, plan a design if you can and spend as much in the ground as on plants. Goodluck
Hi Chris gardens are looking amazing can i ask what type is the Amaranthus thanks
It was a giant form from Chiltern seeds 5 years ago
@@YorkshireKRIS thankyou its great they are adding great colour still at this time, i think i'll have to get some next year for sure
hiya YK quick question for ya ?? how comes your exotics are so much bigger and lusher than mine ?? i mean my musa basjoo stays in the ground all year round like yours and mine are no where nr as nice and big and hench as yours !! i live in BOLTON gtr manchester !! could it you have better temps where you are ..thx all the best..Julian
I'm in God's own county 😂. But in all seriousness, I think it's generally warmer and drier on this side of the pennines
Lost 2 cipd this year in London outskirts, it's cold down south
Sorry to hear it. It was pretty cold everywhere last winter
@@YorkshireKRIS I wasn't whinging just trying to say that wein our country might seem there is a big difference in climate between north and south, it's not really the case.
Because we in South East corner are closer to the continent of Europe we do sometimes suffer their extremes.
I only know this because 5 years ago I decided to take up gardening and with that tropical gardening, which is when I discovered your Chanel and actually started to think about the weather ( as well as plants).
Anyway please keep your videos coming they are a massive inspiration to lots of people 👍
What was the plant at 7.26? The scallop shaped one I couldn’t quite get the name 🙂
Also the one at 11.53 😂
Is that one chocolate vine
There's 2, one on each side of the archway
