    Being completely ignorant about sewing but very passionate about gear, watching how much work there is just for a simple pouch makes me appreciate everything I have a lot more. Good video!

    Very nice. Can you tell me what stitch length, thread size and needle size you like for the Cordura material that you are using? I"m running the same sewing machine as you are. Thank you.

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  Рік тому

      Hallo there, I usually use size #18 till #21 Needle incl. Tex 50 or Tex 45 thread. For heavy projects I use Tex 40 thread. 🤘😎

    • @bigfranksworld
      @bigfranksworld Рік тому

      @@AdventureGearProjects great info. We don't have tex 50 available here. The next size up from tex 4t would be tex 70. I imagine that would work okay? And how about stitch length? Thanks. And I am a new subscriber.

    Why not get a smaller piece rather than all the hemming involved? When kitting up for things, grams matter. We abandon kit because of it's weight, not because it doesn't look cool.

    Hi, danke für deine Clips und die Inspiration. Meine Frau näht schon länger und ich fange nun auch damit an. Ich habe eine Frage zum Wondertape: Es sieht so aus, als ob du da durch nähen würdest. Meine Frau sagt, damit kann ich meine Maschine beschädigen. Der Greifer könnte verkleben. Ich nutze eine Singer Heavy Duty 4423. Kannst du mir was dazu sagen?

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  3 роки тому

      Moin, generell kannst du deine Maschine schon damit versauen nur da geht sehr viel Zeit ins Land. Generell verarbeite ich pro Monat dutzende von Metern an Wondertape ohne die Nadel mal zu reinigen, was man einmal im Monat tun sollte oder wenn die Nadel halt verdreckt aussieht. Generell kann ich aber sagen, dass Maschinenpflege und Reinigung generell immer nach Sicht beurteilt und deichgeführt werden sollte. Also brauchst du dir keine Sorgen machen dass nach einer Rolle die Maschine futsch ist. Zur Heavy Duty 4423 kann ich nur sagen, dass halt viele Kleinteile der Mechanik aus Kunststoff bestehen. Also da einfach immer ein Auge drauf haben. MkG, Steffen

    I got a question the material that you got will it work on a cheap brother sewing machine ?

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  10 місяців тому

      Oh well, I don't know what model you own... The power of the sewing machine motor is decisive! I recommend sth around minimum of 90 watt
