    all the info names on the parts, thread ( I would never known) measurement etc. what a DREAM this helps me so much, this is like sewing school 101 with the best teacher.. about the wonder tape I never heard of it till now lol, and it makes since its more easier (I'm a rookie) I went to the store to buy it but it's out of stock searched a Amazon its a little bit expensive from $6 to $10 plus tax and shipping just for the tape so I skipped it and before I went back home I went to the Dollar Tree to get some other things and 😮shocking!!, They got it for only $1.25 so I can buy them there from now on 😊

    I'm new to sewing, and have watched many tutorials and would have to say that is the best one I have seen. Everything is spot on. Your camera work, the simplicity of the video, your skills, pace of video, music, choice of product. Amazing work ! Thx from Australia. Subbed. Cant wait to make this on the weekend, we have had lots of rain lately.

  • @Actionronnie

    Nice and easy 👍
    My first thought with such a large loop area, make another zipper pouch the same size with the hook material. That way its expandable, or you have two zipper pouches to fit ones need.
    I have a small zipper envelope pouch work gave me for bandaids and stuff, just added some self adhesive hook to it and added it to my sling backpack that has a large loop area. Don't wanna be searching for first aid stuff in a bag, when it's just a pull away with Velcro.

    Nylon thread does not offer the same UV resistance as a polyester thread. I would recommend a polyester thread for items that are likely to be used outdoors.

    Tolles Video, ich war dadurch auf das Klebe/Fixierband aufmerksam geworden. Bei mir verklebt das aber nach kurzer Zeit die Nadel/das Nadelöhr so das der Oberfaden nicht mehr transportiert wird und ständig reißt. Muß mal schauen wie ich das in den Griff bekomme. Lg und weiter so!

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  3 роки тому

      Regelmäßiges Reinigen der Nadel mit Alkoholreiniger oder Klebstoffentferner ist beim Verwenden vom Wondertape unerlässlich. Ich empfehle das täglich zu machen, dann wird auch das Stichbild sauber und das Material bleibt nicht an der Nadel hängen 🤘😎 das nur als Tip von mir. Gruß

    How does the needle go over the zipper part? Does it not risk breaking the needle on the metal zipper teeth??

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  Рік тому +1

      Well, taking it slow is key. The needle stitches right through the zipper coil.

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  4 роки тому

      I totally recmmend sewing with a machine, especially zippers and such stuff. Sewing by hand needs preparation Patience!

    • @nyetloki
      @nyetloki 3 роки тому

      Hand sewing a pouch like this is easy enough but you also won't get the neatness that a machine provides. Uneven tightness on stitches, uneven stitch length.

  • @danm1279
    @danm1279 4 роки тому

    What length is your stitching on? I have no idea what length to put my machine at.

    • @mikekollross8810
      @mikekollross8810 4 роки тому +1

      Stitch length is subjective. Smaller stitches are stronger as you get more stitches per inch. It also means the machine advances slower so it’s easy to control. Too small and the stitches bunch up easier. There is also an aesthetic to stitch length. No real hard and fast answer
      I find a 4mm stitch lines up nicely on my projects so the turns are in the right place.

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  4 роки тому +1

      Hey. I usually use a Stitch length of 4mm when sewing my Projects. Cheers🤘😎
