Eddie I don’t know how you do it. You handled it very well. Last week where I live in Western Australia a young 21
Year old guy got a lift in an Uber on the way home on the main freeway the car had a flat tyre. The Uber driver didn’t know how to change it and the young passenger got out and happily did it for him. Sadly a car hit them from behind and the young passenger was killed instantly. I’m disabled and get Uber’s heaps and I have a walker because I can’t see much. The amount of drivers that won’t even get out of the car and even offer to help blows my mind. I am capable of doing it and I know they are under no obligation to help but it would be so nice to be asked. Love your channel and love the way you are so respectful in handling your passengers. I'm in SA and didn't hear about that- how awful.
I'm not sure that I would do that job without having at least basic car repair skills, It's not safe for anyone to have to change a tyre and not know how to do it- shouldn't this be part of the test? My teenage daughters know how to change a tyre, It's simply not safe to rely on the "kindness of strangers". I can't imagine how I would feel being that driver who was dependent on the passenger to change the flat on the side of the freeway- it's an incredibly dangerous thing to do even in daylight, have been many deaths occurred from this. That's a big millstone of guilt hanging around that Uber driver's neck forever- they caused that death. I would think that as a 'professional' driver, changing your own tyre with appropriate lights and hi vis clothing is the very minimum you can do for your passengers rather than them risking their lives for your ineptitude. I'm feeling pretty angry now, that young guy should not have been in that situation at all. The Uber driver should have called a second car for the client and then the RAA or WA Roads equivalent service truck for the stranded Uber driver. Common sense, y'know? My great sympathy to the young man's family and I hope that particular Uber driver rethinks their career choice, because they are definitely not fit for the job. Shameful series of events. 😢

As an Uber driver, I stopped doing late night pick ups. The bar scene is a total shit show. It was fun for a time and the money was good but the passengers got worse and worse it seemed. This is the kind of crap I couldn't deal with anymore. My very last ride was a couple who started fighting. It got physical and I had to get the police invovled. The situation was messy and after that experience, I was done. Once that sun goes down, I am finished driving.

Respect to all the other Uber drivers on YT, but none of them carry the alpha mindset like Eddie and not the virgin beta mindset like the rest
