I boat up on the river at Aria and win a MASSIVE pot!!! || Poker Vlog #14

Hey all, in this episode, I analyze some hands on my trip to Vegas in July 2024. Hands are from the Wynn ($1/3), Venetian ($2/4) and Aria ($1/3). I also played at Caesar's ($1/3), Horseshoe ($2/3) twice and Bellagio ($2/5), but was unable to record.

JJ: You made it sound like you wanted to bet on the river but checked because you were afraid of better hands. There is no reason to bet here if you think villain has only either hands that will beat you or worse hands that will fold. Just check and take your equity.
KJs: I think I'd raise somewhere here, most likely on the turn after villain's tiny turn bet.
KQs: I don't raise the river here. When villain is likely bluffing but could have a better hand, there's no reason to raise. His check to you on the turn is procedural. He can conceivably have the flush.

K9 hand is a bet/fold on River. He’s never shoving a 7 of spades or worse.
