- Tiny Deol is next into The Den with her curry sauce company. She's seeking a £52,000 investment for 15% of her business. Her product was formulated to target the weight loss market with her healthier sauces for cooking Indian cuisine. She also has a drink and ready meals on offer as part of her company.
Season 6, Episode 7
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

That was a nice thing James did for Tiny.
4:55 "I do not want to spend three and a half hours trying to decipher what's in the jar" - says Theo, holding a jar of sauce which has a photo of an Indian woman and the word Jalfrezi on it
🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
He's onto something, the label looks more like something like a beauty product
Yeah, he over exaggerated it a bit. 20 minute read at worst.
😂😂
James is a gentleman with empathy.
Decent guy !!
Must be why he tried to buy a baby lol
@@elobiretv I'm new to this show and the people involve. He bought a baby?
No he's a sly shrewd
@@mb3558why do you say that?

I used to be employed by her company but I can’t talk about it because I signed a naan-disclosure agreement
Please dish the saucy details
It's not the official secrets act, Treason,, if she did illegal activities report her, good luck be strong ok😅
😂
Perish
Is the company still currying on? 😂
My opinion surely people are looking for oil free food or less oil currys. She can makes this happen with the right people.
Man, revisiting this channel after a long time. These videos got me through Covid
To be fair, it looks like a horoscope news article.
No surprise that the company was dissolved in 2015 and records from company houses show that they had less than 50 grand in assets
That look that Theo gave Peter when he said your chances are “tiny.” 😂😂😂
She didn’t get a dragon but she got a valuable contact so that’s better than nothing.
STOP SPOILING IT

Ruined it
Her company dissolved in 2015 so I don’t know how much good it did 😬
She has a pretty weird evaluation of her company. £52k for 15% = £346,666.66…uh? How did she come up with this evaluation?
I thought she said 50!
No matter what the percentage these odd money requests like 52k, 73k, are puzzling. Would the 2 or 3k over a round figure really make difference? There must be some psychology behind that.
I admit it was confusing but the message I heard was she would transfer the debt in one company into another. If so, that's bad.
Nah it’s worse than transferring the debt… She wanted to transfer all the assets from a company which owes 70k into a brand new one which has no debt so the people she owes can’t take those assets which is crazy illegal…
Thats why the dragons didn’t invest!
@@SuperJutah Yeah she is only rebranding to try and escape the debt while taking all the assets with her. Completely illegal. When the bailiffs turn up "Where has all your assets gone?". I started a new brand
That’s all we need more sauce

Poor Duncan
Subtitles: "Hello, Im Tiny Deal", lol
Deol*
Why would you put your own face on a jar of sauce, looks terrible
She was trying to curry favour but was tapping into the wrong sauces. Time to jar her out of this hot sticky wicket and bring her balti reality
That label makes me think it is a hair product.
I was thinking similar like a dollar store pregnancy test
I like all the things she has taken out.
Any cooking sauces that has a two year shelf life can surely not to be healthy lol
Idk, the way those jars are sealed I wouldn't really be bothered by it. If you canned a bunch of stuff yourself at home you could easily store them for 2 years
Almost everything that comes in a jar or tin has that kind of shelf life.
Why? Why does long-lasting mean bad for you?
Clearly you have zero understanding what hermetically sealed even means.
I miss Duncan in the new series
This was actually a really good idea, and one of these dragons inmediately went home and said “START ME A SLIM CURRY COMPANY!”
So so dangerous to call your company using your name, espicially if you're called Tiny. Well at least she's not a man
Dick's sports goods is still in business
@@pedronieddon’t think ‘dicks sports goods’ would be doing very well if they added the name ‘Tiny’ to it.😂
Great pitch!

Awful Spiv
She really presented well. Knew all her numbers etc.
Little Tiny came into the Dragon's Den,
Just herself and without any men.
She loved her hot sauce,
That came at a cost
And was a significant omen!
Great pitch spiced with the usual dragon ignorance yay
global sales off 647 million last year they missed out. What a curry on oucchhh
You Brits sure are funny
Rubbish
Poor woman, she seems nice but lacks business sense. I hope that the contact of james is able to help her.
Thank you come again
Puerile
why didnt she offer any tastings?
They did taste it
@@lukeflaherty4806 The dragons had to ask her if they could taste it. He meant why didn’t she offer.
I woke up in the middle of the night and I noticed that I wanted a curry 😂if u know u know

One of the dragons asked how much it costs her to make the sauces, but none of the dragons asked *how* she makes them? I guess that's because they all assumed and expected us to assume that the entire process was outsourced to another unrelated company, but if so why isn't that stated. And if that's true why not talk about the relationship between with the manufacturer. This seems to a very frequent issue on Dragon's Den. We don't get to find out what a company actually does - if it out sources all its work then what's the point of it? I want to know which parts of the value chain from raw materials to consumer it occupies.
Deborah was kind of ridiculous. She's complaining that a startup business had that. That's common.
0:01 I'm in 😚
Huh?
hes in
Deborah doesn’t get her business model because she’s had to go into debt. So Deborah thinks everybody should be able to start a business without putting capital in first and just make instant profit? 🤔 You have to spend money to make money ffs. 🤦🏻♂️
It's because Deborah had the help of mummy and daddy so thinks everyone has the same entitlements
@@sadikmeah4057 Ha! If only but that does sound like the only plausible explanation!
Feel like eating butter chicken now
She is now worth over 70m! Not so tiny after all 😅

I value her company's worth at £5000.
I think she is more importantly concerned with her "look" than her words.
