The Lionel 1949 Showroom Layout. Wonder how many places have a replica of that? An icon of the postwar era, the Lionel showroom was a place millions of people visited, and millions more wanted to, the layout was heavily featured in books, advertisements, and even two featurettes Lionel put out in the 1950s. Pity that after so much hard work to make that replica as good as possibe, the guy who had been making all this great stuff work, was forced into resignation. A real shame...
