Good day sir. Please, are the past questions and answers we buy in bookshops the exact questions set by JAMB for its candidates? I met one of my friends who told me that someone had informed him that the past questions and answers bought in bookshops are not the exact questions set by UTME for candidates because the questions are very simple.
The past questions at the bookshop are authentic.
You must make sure you get it at a reputable bookshop, not the roadside type.
The original past questions are more expensive.
Let me know if you have further questions.

1. Analyze your previous performance: Reflect on the areas where you struggled in the last exam. This will help you identify your weaknesses and dedicate specific time to strengthen them.
2. Practice with past questions: Utilize reliable sources for JAMB past questions and practice answering them under timed conditions. This will familiarize you with the exam format, question styles, and time management.
3. Diversify your study techniques: Don't stick solely to passive reading. Explore other methods like creating mind maps, flashcards, summarizing key points, or joining study groups for interactive discussions.
4. Seek help from qualified sources: If available, consider joining JAMB coaching classes or receiving guidance from tutors who specialize in preparing students for the exam.
1. Maintain consistency: Create a study schedule and stick to it as much as possible, incorporating regular breaks to avoid burnout.
2. Focus on understanding, not memorizing: Aim to grasp the core concepts of each subject rather than just memorizing facts. This will help you apply your knowledge effectively to answer the questions.
3. Manage your stress: Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation to stay calm and focused during your examinations.
4. Get enough sleep and eat healthy: A well-rested and nourished mind is crucial for optimal cognitive performance.
5. Stay positive: Believe in yourself and your capabilities.
Remember, the key to success lies in consistent effort, smart study methods, and maintaining a positive attitude. It's important to consult with qualified educational professionals for personalized guidance based on your specific learning style and needs.

So please when ever i read I forget most time please how can I improve
Hello Onyeka,
Forgetting things you read is common, and there are a few reasons why it might be happening. Here are some possibilities and how to address them:
1. Passive Reading: Our brains tend to forget information that isn't actively processed. Try switching from passive reading to active reading. This involves things like highlighting key points, taking notes, and summarizing what you've read in your own words.
2. Information Overload: Our working memory can only handle so much at once. If you're trying to cram too much information in a short amount of time, you're more likely to forget it. Break down your study sessions into smaller chunks and focus on understanding the material rather than just memorizing it.
3. Lack of Engagement: Let's be honest, some textbooks can be dry. If you're not finding the material engaging, it'll be harder to remember it. Try finding alternative resources like video lectures, practice problems, or study groups to make the learning process more interesting.
4. Distractions: Multitasking while studying is a recipe for forgetting. Put your phone away, find a quiet place to study, and minimize distractions to improve your focus.
Here are some additional tips that might help with memory retention:
a. Get enough sleep: Sleep is crucial for memory consolidation. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
b. Eat a healthy diet: Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can improve cognitive function.
