- In the early hours, armed police were called to a tower block after reports of an incident involving firearms. Using negotiators, they aimed to talk down a suspect who was locked inside his flat as he made threats to kill.
Outside, officers had secured the perimeter of the building, but, despite their distance, the firing line was a little too close for comfort.

The way she said “oh” when the officer said “He’s just discharged the rifle” 😂 she thought he was all talk
He's milking it lol
52 police to deal with a man with a nerf gun , who had a few beers ?
And in situations like Uvalde, when the Police do nothing, endless criticism. Our Police actually respond to serious life and death incidents, and you are complaining. Are you thick or just stupid and trolling ?
bet youd handle it with just your fists.

The state of that police officer who was traumatised from being shot at by an air rifle. Worse than the offence itself.
It's shameful. He obviously jumped on that one to get some time off. No wonder they are fkng understaffed. Bottom line is that if you're going to get PTSD from getting an air gun fired at you, then you clearly shouldn't be a police officer and you're going to be more of a liability than a help. Jesus
This police officer needs a desk job if thats shaken him up...
The only time you've ever been shot at is on CoD, pipe down
The most recent episode “the night prowler” honestly made me sick to my stomach and him saying he’s sensitive and cries when he steps on an ant 🙄 but he’s fine filming people without them knowing? Utter creep.
The way he literally ran down the alleyway after his victim 🤮
Pretty Short Sentence for this wouldn't you say?
An air rifle and you would think he was sat in his house with a Gatling gun and an RPG. State of the Uk
😂😂😂😂
fun fact a real gatling gun would be UK legal firearm as a gatling gun is manually operated
no it would not lmao.... @@geezerp1982
First of all its an air rifle but even if it was a .22 how could you see a muzzle flash with a suppressor? Complete lies
That police officer acting like that after getting shot at with an air rifle is a dweeb
Well- no. İt's terrifying. Regardless how, he was shot at.
Well it puts you in a state of shock knowing that if his aim was actually decent and he had a rifle capable enough to kill him that could've been the last time he saw the light of day just because of his job, don't act like you're billy big bollocks and if somebody shot at you you'd catch the bullet out of thin air and swallow it you dweeb
Shut up. Melt@@EthanLaffitte-uk8fk
big time lol guys after some compo
Not charged for possession of a firearm? Obviously means it was an air rifle and the officer needs to man up🤦
Says the guy who’s never been shot at. Also it was a .22 rifle which are legal and he may well have had a license for it.
That was the guy throwing the paint. The other guy who fired the weapon, was charged with illegal possession & attempted GBH with a firearm.
Comes out with a super soaker 😀
Wonder how the copper who was shot at would have managed British army life in 1970's South Amagh (bandit country)?
@JC-gl7ee yes I suppose it was, I have a friend who was in army and his platoon were shot at quite regularly in South Armagh by IRA snipers, said he remembers a bullet whizzing past missing him by a couple of feet.
I suppose same in the middle eastern wars and Afghanistan.
Sometimes we don't realise how lucky we are living in blighty.
While i respect the job he does fuck me he is hamming it up . I remember the feeling after my first contact in Afghan of adrenaline and shitting yourself but i didnt go back to the fob see a shrink and ask to leave theater in which you would be told to fuck off and rightly so its embarrassing its your job ,crack on
American police must be laughing their heads off at this 🙈
😂😂😂😂😂
It's a air gun 🔫 not a bullet gun
It’s a real gun, just that the calibre is .22 so it’s not as dangerous as a rifle calibre
no, it quite literally is a .22 air rifle. i got the exact same one, cost a few hundred quid
hence no gun charge
Exactly hence why he got 20 months. He would've gotten years if it was a real firearm
That "police officer" would come back with a worse PTSD from a paintball match than some Vietnam vets.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
He scratched his nail varnish!
20 months means it was probably a BB gun
Was a 'high powered' air rifle.
not necessary ,
possession of a firearm without a certificate ;
on summary conviction 6 months
on conviction on indictment 5 years (7 years if aggrivating)
@geezerp1982 he wasn't in Possession of a 'firearm.' A high powered air rifle can't be classed as a firearm. Yes he discharged the air gun at an officer which is an aggrevating factor, but it isn't a firearm still. I agree the sentence is pretty short but you don't know what mitigating factors he has too (e.g. could be mental health issues or psychosis). So that probably went in his favour at court
@@danielallen6178 WRONG go back and re-read section one of the firearms act 1968 and case law ! also define high powered - clue , its not what media tells you it is or your bullshit feelings ! its in statute
@@geezerp1982 having watched the episode you are actually right. It is classed as a VARMINT rifle which is a firearm. You could've just explained that professionally instead of swearing dude
For those of you chatting shit you're not in their job you're not the one who's been shot at. END OF.
There's being shot at by an actual gun, like a handgun, rifle or whatever and being shot at by a fucking air rifle from a large distance away, there's a big difference.
You don't have to be in the military or be a policeman to know the difference.
The police officer is going on like he was in Ukraine or Syria.
You stand in front of an airgun its not scary at all and the damage it would do is negligible at that range he mightve had broken skin. The Officer was in more danger when the crim threw that bottle off the roof.
It’s just like that movie
Stone chip call auto glass .
This guy sat there laughing haha
Is there a full version of this
That Police officer who took time off from the incident is whats wrong with the Police Force at the moment. What a disgrace!
Assuming getting shot at is a common occurrence for you then mr big bollocks?
I can't find the full episode anywhere!!!!!
You can get this air rifle for like £200 what a melt
imagine being so weak minded that you need therapy because somebody shot an air rifle near you , ive actually been shot with one & it hurt for a day & i wasn't traumatised whatsoever ... and he's a police officer , how can he serve and protect anything when he's scared of a kids toy ? 🤣
Big up to my home town bedford i like to refer it to deadford... Glad i left.
Only 20 months in prison how pathetic
Being shot at is not normal in the UK. It’s something that most officers will never experience here so of course it’s going to shake you up a bit. Senior officers make the decision to take someone off duty.
2:05 Police get luxury interrogation rooms
These two men show how far the UK has fallen.
Thanks for going forward when most of us would run. 👮
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
You dramatic c2nt it's a gas powered .22 air rifle, it wouldn't even come anywhere close to killing you,
20 months?!
The dude who shot the pellet got 7 years the paint thrower got 20 months
Im british and me n my brother used to shoot eachother with air rifles as kids, this grown ass man didnt even get hit and hes going on like he survived the trenches of Verdun
A co2 air rifle wouldn't make a sound. He believes he wouldn't be there wtf?
so the guy basically got 10 months for shooting at someone.
.22 lr they say lol😂
They clearly haven't got a clue. Its an air gun you wallies! Aren't they supposed to be trained to identify firearms? Well you'd assume they would be.
I'm actually shocked that the police are so pathetic now that it takes a whole unit to deal with a mentally unstable man with a fkng bb gun, and the officer that gets shot at needs to take a load of time of work to recover and absolutely milks the situation by sitting with a councillor, and pretending that he's survived some sort of actual near death experience. What a joke
Indeed. That £200, .22 calibre AIR RIFLE is scary; better keep those kids inside tonight. Dramatisation at its finest, as usual.
Its actually a joke
PTSD from airsoft😂
@Ben Turner3458 It is possible that he thought the man had a real gun. I didn't hear any mention of his entitlement to months off duty or anything else. Perhaps you should go to night school to improve your knowledge of the English language.
@@LizaFergison Yet, what we did hear in the video, is "I saw a muzzle flash"... impossible from a spring("break barrel") air rifle. Also, insulting someones English abilities is not showing much class here; maybe >you< should study decorum at night school, entitled human? 😅🤣
That policeman needs to leave the job...he clearly hasn't got the minerals for life let alone policing.
😂😂😂
20 months...
That copper is a right wet lettuce...,.deffo a bullied at school type 😂
The officer who’s car window was hit told so many lies is his statement at the event and afterwards he shouldn’t be an officer, imagine the stuff he makes up when not on camera.
He was sucha wally.. clearly looking for an excuse for paid leave
@@donnybrasco9330 💯 bro 😂😂
Seems to be an ongoing problem because both officers in my case have added some BS to their statements as well.
Source?
They all lie thru their teeth every day. Its part of the training.
20 months for discharging a firearm at a police officer 🤔
One of them got 7 years for this, I don't know why they don't mention it at the end
where did the full episode go?
That’s what I’m trying to find out
What a melt that copper was. Making it all about him. It was a air rifle that hit his car and hes in tears. Hahahahahahaha
Come on lads this is pretty embarrassing to watch!
That's mad 20 months for firing a sniper rifle at a police car? Did I miss something
Compo face @2:44
What in the ooga booga jungle mooga is going on here?
20 months jail for discharging a firearm at an officer, should have been done for intent to endanger life or for attempted murder & got at least 20 years!
Wasn’t a real sniper , it was an air rifle, it’s not even possible to kill the officer with that
oh sh*t i just been shot...my god boy you wouldnt last 5mins out here on the street nearly hit by an air riffle now hes talking PSD
Even if it's air rifle , since the suspect could barricade himself with a knife . They would call armed police in this situation.
As a retired 1980s UK County force SWAT officer, I watched this documentary and was stunned at the mistakes those attending officers made. Going to a firearms incident in a tower block it was so dangerous to park police vehicles directly under the block. All vehicles should have been parked well away from the line of fire. The dog handler who had his windscreen shot at should never have been parked there.
The UK police are fuck up big time
UK SWAT?
County forces just call them firearms ARV not swat 😂
@@ewanwhite922 ye calling str8 cap on this. UK SWAT? Just blagged it
Jesus Christ, 😂
I reckon he's lying tho
Love to see all the keyboard warriors that have never been put in any dangerous situation are making comments like getting shot with even an air rifle can kill you
See how police lie
Is this satire?
That cop 😂 just reflects what a joke the uk is
Policeman* Least he's not hiding whilst schools are getting shot.
@@LoyalandTrue. Na but he's hiding when kids are getting stabbed
Clowns couldn't catch a cold
No offence to the officers doing what they are told but thats gotta be the stupidest positioning I've ever seen then they go down and look at the bullet while he's still up there????
This is an absolute disgrace!!! That police officer blatantly lied!!! He didnt see a muzzle flash or hear a gun shot and he didnt see the guy with the gun as it was someone else!!!! This is why the public hate the police!!! That police officer lied to have someone convicted of something something that he didnt do!!!! SACK HIM!!!
Thats a cheap break action Air gun
No it's not, it has a magazine you melt
Yeah alright that officer just wants some compensation sack him and cancel his pension not fit for purpose with that mentality when will they get a back bone?

To point a few things out, I'm a firearms expert here in the U.K, it was an AIR RIFLE that's fully legal to own if you pass certain backgrounds checks if you're buying it from a proper airgun retailer, he did not, he bought it from someone on gumtree hence no background checks etc and he paid way too much for it BTW.
I want to also state this airgun WOULDN'T produce any type of muzzle flash at all, it's impossible, the police officer and firearms officers are completely wrong and they can't seem to admit it but he does state "my memory plays tricks on me" or words to that effect.
He states "I've heard gunshots before so I know the sound, I did believe I saw a muzzle flash." In my opinion he's already seen the footage and all the evidence and realised he's fucked up hence why he says "I did believe"; he's full of shit and utterly wrong they all need retraining.
If it was a .22 LR which the firearms officer says it was (which again it wasn't), for those who don't know .22LR means .22 calibre long rifle which is a real bullet that you have to have all sorts of licenses and certificates to even own and it's a very difficult process, these bullets can easily kill, again if it was .22LR there would have been a proper bullet hole in the windscreen penetrating it and hitting the interior of the police car not a chip like shown.
Furthermore more anyone who deals with firearms like these officers are meant to be the ultimate professionals, you should easily be able to tell the difference from a low puff of gas from an air rifle and the loud .22LR bang, plus the obvious other factors which are: 1) a .22LR being discharged would have set the smoke detectors / alarms off due to the smoke from the bullet being fire from a .22 rifle.
2) You would easily be able to smell the gun powder, cordite and various gases from the bullet especially within a small environment like that when fired.
3) You might even be able to hear the sound of the bullet casing hitting the floor and the mechanical action of the firearm chambering the next bullet.
This could have ended with the police opening fire and killing these people THINK ABOUT THAT all over an air rifle that they WRONGLY thought was a .22LR, they are utterly wrong and they all need retraining. The suspects deserve every punishment they get and this also explains why they got off so lightly IMO but think again how wrong this could have gone.
He saw a Muzzle flash with a suppressa on the gun guys full of shit this is people we pay tax for to luck after us and you seen his smile. Absolute bollocks share some of your claim money 😂😂😂
Kids literally shoot each other with air guns for fun. This guys acting like he’s been to war and been through some horrendous things.
His wife is right, he needs to leave the police.
Air guns can be potentially lethal
The one's keep saying is an airrifle has no clue what the on about. You can clearly see the magazine on the rifle. Melts! ua-cam.com/video/UUMUPo3iai4/v-deo.htmlsi=EX0XCpXsOlLJwjut&t=119
Laddered his tights and got PTSD.
This episode was super boring
It I'd very clear this man is vulnerable with his current mental health. A kind word would have diffused that. Once again police going OTT. The man is vulnerable
