*I'll give Carthage it's original: Kart Haddasht! Thanx, Thomas... keep 'em comin'! One small step at a time and we will have RTW where it should be!* *These are the changes that would be great:* *- settlements given to their historical owners (Massilia to Greeks, Carthago Nova to Carthage, etc)* *- all Roman factions have Eagle insignia (colours could stay as they are)* *- Lambda insignia to Greeks, sun (or anything else) to Macedonians, Parthians also something different,..* *- unaffordable best units for Roman factions* *- strengthened factions never conquered by Rome (Britons, Parthians, Schytians, Germans) and those that resisted heavily (Pontians, Carthage, ...)* *- Egypt weakened* *- Numidia eliminated from the game*
Very good. About Egypt one buddy want to make a mod to made it more accurate to that time. A mix of egyptians with greek units. Egypt: militia armed with axes, fast desert cavalry, longbowman and chariot. Greek: skirmisher, armored skirmisher, pikemen, companion cavalry and royal phalanx. Also added a new temple Serapis and give final temples upgrades global bonuses. Serapis for example give -25% in cultural penalty when taken a city from other culture.
how would I go about renaming cities that aren't under my control from the start of the game using the files, for example changing Rome to Roma without having to first take the city?
I have had a little fiddle with that but always experience bugs. I suspect that because the names are referenced in so many files it would take a big overhaul to change them. There will be a video should I find a decent accessible solution.
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH I found out how to do this. In the data/text folder there is a file called imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names.txt. In this file every city and region has it's own line and each line has the name of the city/region twice, once in {} and then outside so it looks something like this {Athens} Athens. To change the name of the city on the campaign map you can simply change the name OUTSIDE the brackets and you won't have to go through every other file that has city names to change them. Curiously for me this works for seemingly every city except for Rome itself which remains Rome no matter what I put in the file BUT I have successfully renamed other cities
Will you do a guide about how to fix the Alexander expansion of Rome Total War? (And by "fixing" it I mean make all the campaigns with all the factions work and remove the " If Alexander dies- you die as well. 100 turns only..." stuff...) ?
Well that was simple.
Also, game guide on unit size (amount of troops in each unit, affect on certain unit types, best recommendations ect)
Hilliously simple... and yes, a look at how initially size changes the game will be an interesting one

Simple stuff! Nice.
Is there any way I could get this to work for Rome: Total War - Remastered?

I like this idea. It's on the list!
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH I will be looking forward to it then. :D
That's nice
XD
Moveing units for rome to barbarian invasion and back
Certainly doable. Just how much work it'll be is another matter. If I can make it accessible to fo then that would be amazing
I tried to do it but the game said it was missing unit battle modal
Yes. Some of those models will likely need tracking down. Hopefully they aren't all packed away.
Well if you try good luck
Hi I have an question
How did you manage to change the folder ui.. from pak mode
Simples!
Indeed!
how do i rename legions in remastered?
In the run... far too many to count xD
I still try to figure how to do in Rome Total War Remastered
Is this work also in M2TW?
It's not necessary - you can change town names in vanilla Med II by clicking on the name just as in this video. :)
