This is the sequel to Air/Ace Combat, which includes a new mission structure and special enemy pilots that must be killed so it takes longer to beat the game. Other than that, the graphics are improved (they did a great work with textures) and the music gets more sophisticated with a more electronic sound.
I probably did something strange with the structure of the walkthrough. I included the basic part (with the normal ending) in the first part, and I left the extra missions and the last ones (that lead you to the good ending) for the second part. In the second part, missions 11 and 19 are with an asterisc since I missed one of the special pilots, one time because of the incorrect info in the guide I used, and the second time on porpouse, so I could get the normal ending. Anyway, my recommendation is to just watch those missions in part 1 and skip them in the part 2, as they take more time to beat.

One of my first video games I ever played as a kid when I was like 3 or 4 and my dad got a ps1 with this and crash team racing. I’m watching this whole thing
I have great memories of this game, the SU-35, F117A, F-14, F-22, EF-2000, and YF-23 are my favourite fighter planes I focus on Targets, non-targets and the planes that has nicknames the more you shoot the enemy fighters the more money you get to buy aircrafts thank you for posting this game and by the way I'm from Dubai, UAE
Altitude too low, pull up! Used to ring around my skull back in the day.
When I played the game, I left no targets in tact.

19:10 the "night time pursuit plane" it took me a lot of time to find where the E-767 that plane is the reason why the radar is jammed
The game that introduced me to the Ace Combat series. This game was so much fun to play.

I love how the intro to this game implies an F-22 would have issues shaking a MiG-21.
Newer planes aren't always better than older ones, see for example the F-35 vs F-16 in close air combat.

2 and 3 (Japanese version) were my favorite Ace Combat Games.
Using the"noob" easy flight mode made this game look too much unrealistic and compromises the experience.
Is actually harder to fly that way than the "expert" flight mode. BTW, is it me or the game lacks one last mission after St. Ark? That one very similar to Megalith mission in Ace Combat 4

In Air Combat my favorite Jets I use are F-4, F-14,F-A18c, MIG-29,MIG-31 and F-15A Ace Combat 2 is a lttle beter because when you chose your Aircraft, I like it haves a chart of the Air Craft, see ground and air, and weapons.
I remember there is remake version of this game.

I don't get why anyone would want to play the game like this lol. Not only it's less fun to do so but also in my noble opinion -- novice flight setting makes the game harder quite a bit since that your movements are really restricted lol.
