Older men are finally starting to realize that pretty words aside, women want an early retirement plan based on the man's assets. Legally in marriage, women can leave for any reason or no reason at all. Men assume way too much risk in the contract.

Gentlemen! Silicone love dolls may cure all. I spent nearly 2 years trying to convince a friend to get a silicone girlfriend. He thought it was silly and kept dismissing the idea but one day to my surprise, he actually bought one. He is totally in love with her and now he never shuts up about how great she is. I've never seen him so happy in the time I've known him which is half a century. It's time I take my own advice and I invite you guys to do the same. All the good with non of the risks.

very true. i've had around 10 girlfriends and LTRs throughout my life and i can really say that by now (im 55) i am looking for friendship and companionshipt much much more than sex per se. Its still fine from time to time but it isnt what it used to be. The urge is weak and im very content with that. so much more to life. I enjoy my big house, vacations small and big and wellness/sauna trips with my current girlfriend:) No kids, pretty wealthy together (she has her own place as well). men need to really get the sex thing out of their system and focus on life itself more. To me its a sign of losing when you are still so sex-focused and superficial at older age. I was actually beginning to feel this when i was in my early 40s. I enjoy a good relationship with a woman but sex is not priority anymore since quite a while. cheers

I asked it and 75% of guys said they would not get into relationships with women if it wasn’t for sex.. I was curious about the 25% that acted like they would. Little did they seem to realize the main motivator that propelled them to approach their future wife was their sex drive. Oh and that same sex drive makes them do all the daily things to keep her happy. Most guys have never thought about this too deeply and that’s a bit concerning

Women are not going around picking up homeless dudes. The more money you have the more other "requirements" are reduced. Bill Gates never had a problem getting women after Microsoft took off.
But yeah, a guy still needs game. In the West if she doesn't feel safe and loved she's unlikely to stay. If a US guy moves to a poorer country money reduces other requirements to the point of almost disappearing.

They'll TikTok later how stupid men are or how outrageous some of us are to not play that game. It's hilarious watching them hit their head against "the wall" so keep laughing boys. We are the guardians of the relationship. All they bring to the table is shared sex and they'll think it's a prize. Nah. Unless she is crawling under the dinner table to service you then you know the game she's playing is unkind. They'll surely be confused and even have a term for it now called "flipping" where men who seemed into them suddenly ghost. That's called reality of the wall and it's not up to us to teach them. Life and the reality of love is that you as a man will end up divorced and bankrupt paying for a child, often not your own. There is one constant truth in life that will never stab you in the back. Stay single and only back yourself and you will never be disappointed. Friends, family and lovers will often fail you but you will always have your own back. Dating and Marriage today is like walking through a minefield of eggshells, is this really what you want. Live your life and be happy.

I shave my head rather than have the horseshoe look. So far women that I have found attractive don’t reciprocate. And I don’t want to get involved with someone that I am not attracted to just to get laid. So I’m resigned to living my life with my dogs and enjoying the peace. Hearing this is a great alternative to the red pill manosphere space which has become infected with negativity dripping off of everything and I'm pretty much tired of it. I'm pretty sure a lot of those videos raise depression and anxiety on a micro level.
I'm 38 tomorrow, paid the house off this year, got three cars paid off, a job making over 28 an hour, a nice nest egg and no debt. now I am looking to getting back into working out now that I have the time and focusing on retirement investments.
I can attest that everything in this video is true cuz last night I went out and met a 22 year old girl and we just vibed she had no idea about my finances, but she was into spirituality and we just had a great conversation.
A few months ago I met a very attractive adult woman who was barely out of high school and she invited me to sit with her and her friends after I approached them. She told me she liked my outgoing personality and she loved that I spent my teenage years taking karate, studying self-help, traveling. Her and I were giving eachother the side eye while I were shared food and her friends were doing the talking. 😆
Hopefully I see them both again soon. Happy rest of 2024 to you men out there that read this!

Have fun yes. But most people in the world most likely get divorced because of the lack of fun. And fun is generally a temporary thing we chase in order to NOT deal with life. So yes have fun, but even better advice is to get used to being comfortable outside the "zone of pleasure", so that the little fun you have gets to be a lot higher quality.

At 2:31, a crucial aspect of commitment that may not be explicitly communicated is the prerequisite for women seeking commitment. They seek assurance of your capability to provide for them, but this assurance is contingent on you being a good provider. The key aspect to focus on is the ability to provide for her well-being, as this is the basis for her desire for your commitment.

Becoming a regular customer coffee shop, where many women work as Barista’s is a good starting point. It’s worked for me a few times now. But the trick is, don’t show ANY interest for the first 3-4 months , unless they show it in you first. I’ve gone to coffee shops where it’s taken over 9 months for a certain Barista to show an interest in me. You only gradually increase the lengths & topics of conversation as you become a more frequent customer over time ( that doesn’t mean going there daily, perhaps just keep it to two visits per week, and then increase it to three, keep topics very general, no personal questions in the first few months, unless she opens up to you first. Throw in some dry , perhaps even sarcastic humour about what’s going on locally in you area…. Of course have interest/sport/ hobby and engage in it regularly, so that when deeper conversations follow, you have something else to talk about.

    • @john-griffin
      @john-griffin  3 місяці тому +1

Developing personality can be a lot easier than you think. The trick is to look at situations from the perspective of the other person. Once you understand, what’s important to them it’s easy to seem very engaging and interesting. I’m sure there are tons of books written on this topic. But if it’s just your ability to have charisma or to have an interesting conversation with someone, I think you can fix that. Good luck, man.

I dated a couple of times when I was in my early 20s and found it boring one of them their mother said I will not make enough money and I never did anyway in my life and I am on a fixed income social security today but I am free and happy with my life I could have been a monk, I guess. What John Griffin talks about in this video what women want seems like a lot of hassle annoying and money to please a woman and her needs not yours. I hate weddings and the stupid dancing and all of it after being to a few of them in my life. I like the outdoors trout fishing scenic drives in the mountains in Colorado my state and animals I had many cats and dogs in my lifetime and I have a 16year old cat now that keeps me smiling and happy and does not complain pets are great for single men. My friends are married in their late 50s that is what they wanted, I live and do what I want dress relaxed eat what I want look how I want no regrets I live in peace and happy even though I do not have money and am poor there are more important things in life than money.

Things would be so much easier if only that were true. Women only want men who other women want, so men who stay true are less attractive. Women unconsciously feel that other women don't want their men if the men are always loyal. Women don't so much want to win the man, but to win against the other women. It's the dark nature of women. The man usually ends up being just an object of status and power. Men can either love women, or they can understand women, but they cannot do both. It's rarely about love or loyalty with women. Although, some are much better than others.

I used to avoid dating older women in the past thinking they carry a lot of baggage and the traditional thought that man should always be older than the girl. But when I dated these toxic chilidish immature chicks, I couldn't handle their annoyance.....
Younger Gen-Z women who are mature, kind and understandable is nigh impossible to find in these contemporary times. They only want money, security and offer nothing but anxiety, stress and depression....
But some men are so egotistic that they will never even look at older women thinking it will hurt their manliness and that they want fertility and someone to control, because older women are not slimes who can be molded in any form that men want them to like younger women who don't know anything about the world except their own body....

This was a cool video. I've been entangled in the red pill stuff quite a bit, but I have no hate for women. I've been burned too so I can relate to the guys who have been burned by a woman. Perhaps the best way to think about things is just have fun with the woman that you're seeing and see how it goes. I like the idea of dating someone older who just wants to have a partner and have fun. And it's true the younger women generally want commitment but you can have fun with them too. And if you find a gem of a girl then you have potential to create a really nice relationship with her and get married etc. All in all have fun, go out and meet people, and enjoy the process

You guys put way more into this than it deserves. Women may be complex in their wiring, but they certainly are not complicated in their goals. First of all, its important to examine the reasons, the female psyche requires what it requires. In addressing the notion that they want money, blame this phenomenon on the disparity of income for women vs men. Often they are rendered the sole provider for their children. Despite legislation, child support is not guaranteed. She innately appreciates a fit male because her primal instincts tells her that it will protect her and her offsprings. Even without children, her love is always maternal. Her sing-song way of speaking attest to it. Maternal. It lulls young children to sleep. If she values commitment, subconsciously it best serves her babies. Maternal. Truth be told, if a guy, in her secluded presence, were to behave as though he were oblivious to sex, she'd be first to initiate it. Therefore, I suggest no man go on a quest to find a woman. Rather go about your life as one would while jogging. If along the way, I encountered a bear, I would reverse course. If I found a wrench I'd pocket it for future use. If I encountered someone whose company I enjoyed, I would attempt to nurture that relationship to our mutual satisfaction. If I saw a bag of money, I'd pick it up and put it in my wallet. But I would NOT run through the forest, head down, eyes focused on the ground in the hope of finding money. The odds are against it as the consequence of a one- track mind would be disastrous. After all I entered the forest to run. Towards what end, I cannot say. But I do know that there is a richer purpose to our lives than the pursuit of momentary pleasure.

"blame this phenomenon on the disparity of income for women vs men." Christina Hoff Summers, Economist and Feminist has long tried to get fellow Feminists and other ill-informed individuals from spewing this fallacy. "Despite legislation, child support is not guaranteed." You're right. If he loses his job and can't pay child support or alimony, he goes to jail. It's almost comical how coddled and spoiled Western women are, and we, as a society, good intentions aside, have done this to the detriment of EVERYONE. They're materialistic beyond the pale, entitled, demanding and avoid accountability like plague. Studies have repeatedly shown if you increase a man's income on his profile, his attractiveness to women goes up 30% +. Thanks to Social Media an average Western guy with an average income is an under-achieving unattractive chump to 80% of Western women, who erroneously believe they deserve a top 20% guy. This is why men in droves are saving their money and migrating to Countries where women make far superior mates, want a masculine man to take the lead and appreciate him for what he brings to the relationship. As an added bonus, these Countries still have a modicum of respect for men, instead of viewing them violent, oppresive patriarchal sh*tlords. What an insult. Caveat Emptor, Gentlemen.

@@john-griffin lol what an epic analogy. I live in Canada, in 2019 or 2020 the Ontario Superior Court here ruled in favour of a $33,000,000 “palimony” to a gf who never lived with the guy, and declined his marriage proposal because it contained a prenup. The feminist judge ruled, she will get $300,000 a month alimony because “she deserves it” and he “should pay” (he’s a wealthy man)… First of it’s ruling but, lot of gfs now have cause to extort $ after a break up. So we’re just friends full stop is the furthest I go.

Seems undeniable that sex and making love are healthy for myriad reasons. If it's possible to be intimate with a woman without too much potential downside then why not? When we are older relationships need to be more creative since we become more set in our ways and probably want more time for ourselves.
John, thank you for bringing up about FWB. The way you described it seems like that could be a good way to go if possible. Major respect for you and all your wisdom. Thank you.

I think that most men get into trouble in relationships by becoming too emotionally entangled too quickly. Women want that commitment from you and the sooner they get it the sooner they lose respect for you. It’s very important to make your commitment, a very precious item. Even expressing strong emotion to them can be, extremely valuable. Also men don’t understand that women are extremely emotional and they pick up on emotions much more acutely than we do. Women are also much less likely to honor a commitment or an oath than a man. Women do not take those things very seriously, and finally women are not very rational. if you can keep all those things in mind, I think you can safely have a relationship with a woman.

I suppose you just have to be clear about what you want and what you don't want.

It seems so simple, but it can be so much more complicated when you're in the middle of it. Thanks for your input!

That's what being a man used to mean. Males in the West have been so feminized the concept of what we want has almost disappeared.

Researcher Shaunti Feldhahn has done studies involving thousands of couples, asking specific questions of both spouses. One surprising finding was that a majority of women said they would trade financial security in exchange for knowing they were secure in their husband's love. That certainly pushes back against the red pill narrative of the gold-digging woman. And yet there are women who have mastered the art of serial divorce. But is that what they really want, or something they have defaulted toward?

How many times do women pull the old "bait and switch" routine? How many men have married a woman only to wake up to a perfect stranger the next morning?

Costco? Haha, only Indians and Chinese at least in my area. Might be different where you are. I enjoy your monologs as I can relate on many levels. Something to consider is also about where you live which ties back to the Costco comment. Do your research and figure out where you can maximize your chances if you have the freedom to relocate. I did and very happy it was not too late.

I enjoy being an asset to my kids. Even though they’re all adults, they all call on me from time to time to help them with any number of things. I consider it a privilege to be so important to them. It allows me to continue helping shape their lives, I have had a good fortune having many short term relationships with women over the years. Having an intimate relationship with one right now is a little interest to me. If I want to have a friend with benefits, I am pretty sure I can manage that. Recently a woman offered me such a deal and I’m considering taking her up on it, thanks

The number 1 concern all women have on a daily basis is "being/feeling safe" - security and committment tie into or underlay that biological need to put it another way.

Please elaborate on "a woman without friends is dangerous!"
I think I know what you mean, but I've only ever experienced the flip side of the coin. Women with entirely too many friends - friends popping out of the woodwork, new friends, "this cool person I just met." Women who can't endure more than a couple minutes alone with themself. They'd happily trade sex for a guy that drowns out the gnawing sense of loneliness they experience.
