I had a 1989 legacy rs.. switched the vf8 turbo out for a tdo5h and a 3inch exhaust from turbo.. damn that thing was so loud 🤣 I use to set off car alarms driving past all the time lol
I remember when a 323 turbo hatch back or a turbo fwd sigma were new technology after a Datsun with sidedraughts then came the RS legacy.different body style 4wd doch turbo 2.0ltr lowered on motoform sektors with a front mount game changer really saw one in 89 never seen anything like it
He’s absolutely insane ..!!!! I’ve owned 8 of these and I’d never ever think of doing that. I currently own a 1992 Subaru Legacy turbo 5sp with 100km on it and it’s mints. I love it to death
I tried it back in the day, there's a video on here of its maiden skid lol. With a R160 rear and locked diff, it snapped shafts and stub axles on a daily basis
not much power wise. Only really put a nice exhaust on it and lower it. They make nice daily, but so does my 93 turbo RS Liberty.... If you have money to spare you can convert it to a turbo, but you're basically replacing all the running gear and doing a shit tonne of loom wiring.
Love the car. I have never been a fan of building a car for performance and then weighing it down with heavy stereo junk. Weight is the enemy of performance.
My first turbo car I ever owned and miss alot . These things would kick a lot of newer cars of today!
