I filmed this Subaru Legacy at the Modena racetrack during a wet day. In the video you can see the car in action: curves, fast fly bys, powerslides, accelerations, downshifts, overtakes, and on board scenes.

That whole car is a savage beast of a Subaru, but what really stood out to me was the reverse mounted hood scoop so it's now cowl induction. That's unique.

as an owner of a first gen legacy, I can honestly say they have serious potential. Mine is not turboed and never will be, but this video proves the chassis can handle the power and the darn things handle really well with a little work.

jan 2.2L engine with single scroll turbo, I believe the came out of the factory with 10-12 lbs of boost

The XT was a disgrace but the X T6 was awesome, The SVX was too slow but super unique, when Legacy first came out the GL was no more. The Japanese Sunrise could never shine brighter, NO more box turbos HA! I say !! The spool turbo would revolutionize Subaru forever. Subaru would introduce the turbo Legacy in late 1992 early 1993 from four door sedans and wagons that revolutionized the Next Generation of family car awesomeness. All wheel drive all the time forever! Domo Subaru, Impreza is born the failed WRX replaced with the STI a legend of its own class and favored throughout the world. Poor Subaru stumbled and fell many times from the two wheel drive Brat 3 speed to the GL 1.8 wagon to the horrible Baja an Outback wagon with a chunk missing, if only Subaru would have let the STX become a reality, Subaru would have put Honda's crappy Ridgeline to shame and some. so many have claimed that the justy was a worthless car but imagine the justy with a 2.2 Turbo, sure Subaru made an STI wagon and it was uglier than a flaming bag of dog poo on your porch but before that atrocity they invented the 2.5 Outback Sport four-door hatch. Ken Block drove a modified 530 horsepower STI that proved to be one of the coolest drift cars thanks to Subaru's all-wheel-drive. I salute you Subaru I have owned five of your cars and each one was a favorite of mine but the Mochi of my eye was the XT6... I miss that Master piece.
