Was just thinking that I hadn't seen a new paddling video from any of the folks I love to watch for a very long time and five minutes later up pops this. Thanks for taking us along.
Great video. Definitely know how frustrating it is to see others leave garbage around the sites and trails. Nice to see another upload from the 3 of you. Hope to see more coming soon! 🍻 Take care
I really appreciate you two taking time out of your trip to talk about how to camp in the backcountry and keep these wonderful spaces clean for generations to come.
@@TwoPacksandaPup it's important and great to see more responsible campers packing out others' trash, I wish there wasn't trash but if we all have to do our part wee can keep our backcountry clean. Thank you so much.
Just inspiring, we love watching your videos together. Thank you for sharing, been preparing our canoe trip(s) and these videos, over the years, have offered inspiration..
Absolutely amazing. Both have a great stemna. Guys I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak Gilgit-Baltistan Barah Valley. Add this sound in your bucket list.
😱 we’ve been in the Sierras but these suggestions sound maybe out of our capabilities 🤗 they look stunning though! My goodness would be a dream! I’m adding them to the bucket list, we will figure it out! 🫣😉
Long time no see, great you've posted another video, enjoyed! Regarding fire pits, on an official state-run website for hikers in Sweden surprisingly I've found this: "Fires must not be lit on, or next to, a rock - the heat will cause the rock to crack." Interesting, isn't it?
Nice to see a new video 👍 Beauty trout for breakfast. Good to see you guys demonstrating safe fire advice, there really are too many people not using the proper fire pit and especially not putting fires out. Just too much slovenly behaviour in general. I was up backpacking last week end and at my second campsite someone had left a ton of junk. A four person tent, a bunch of cheap gear and dollar store kids toys, and a stack of empty tin cans. Also a trail of used wet wipes leading to the thunder box 🤮 LOL, at Emma keeping an eye on that loon cruising by the campsite 😂
Oh no ☹️ very frustrating. Sorry you came across that. Really puts a damper on the good time. Some of these incidents I’m sure are from visitors who don’t care, but I’m convinced a lot of the undesired behaviour out in the parks comes from many folks simply not knowing. We figure if anyone who doesn’t know is watching, maybe we can help a little.
Nice to see a video from you guys . You're setting the standard with the baywatch swimsuit ( and the nails ).Its a great loop but i'd like to recommend a slight detour
Thanks Alex, ☺️ I’m blushing. What detour would you recommend? Were creatures of habit and like to ho back to the same places, so before we do, I’d like to know your suggestion 👀
Thanks for being good stewards of the land. You guys are shining examples of how to recreate responsibly. Now where’s that video of your California trip? 😊
Haha yes that video is long overdue!! It IS going to come out. Thanks for the high praise 🙏 we just hope to educate even one person per video who end up camping and not being messy 🫣
Great video, I stayed at that spot about 10 years ago! Love your dog. James seems a little... uh.... well, not very full of joy. Hope everything is okay with him.
Spent the first half hour on a site on Teepee cleaning out the fire pit and surrounding area. Super frustrating. I couldn't do anything else until it was clean though. I know anyone watching this video wouldn't do anything like that. Just expressing my frustration. Worst part is it was the first day of a 4 day trip so I had to carry their crap the whole trip and all the way home. After the tidying was done, it was as beautiful a trip as always.... 🙂
Awe 😕 always a bummer, but we too can’t settle unless it’s clean. I think some folks researching camping could come across these videos and take a few things away. Let’s hope!
Could you put up a list of all your equipment for your trips and where to purchase it, love the video's, lm 60 miles from my house to the landing on opeongo lake or 4o minutes to witney.lve worked all over in the park, alot of work from the swishsaw on the tower lines that run through the park and cross the highway east of witney. I used to fish hogan, laviea, and Dixon and Billy, and numerous other lakes in the park. One day you get time check out the Brent Crater where yous were at Brent, BTW Emma is a gorgeous pup 🐶
Lovely! You’re situated in a great spot! We’ve had many requests for gear information so I do believe it’s about time we get around to that. We will do this soon. Yes we were meaning to check out the crater and also didn’t get around to that, we will have to next time. I will pass on the compliments to Emma, in the form of a treat and some pats, she will be happy 🤗 thank you Perry.
Nice adventure, but you must be young have enough power to do it, and also you need to have a free time for such adventure...in any way it is enjoyable to watch...
Firepit rehab was perfection. You guys always set the bar for camp etiquette 👏
Thanks so much for the new vid! Perfect end to my day.
Happy to provide some Sunday evening entertainment! 😄
Great 3 days paddle with the pup, love the cliff lined lakes, pine lined campsites, and swim holes, keep rocking it!
Thank you! 😊😊 was a beautiful trip. It’s amazing how much beauty can be seen and fun had in just 3 days!
Great Job on the video and Wow what a transformation to the fire pit. Nice.
Thanks so much! 🤗
i was pumped hearing that intro song! good job rebuilding the fire pit James. good vid, thanks for sharing
Nice! Haha that song feels like driving up to go camping for us now too. Was quite a good rebuild hey? Thanks for coming along and chatting

I was wondering if you two and Emma were still doing backcountry. Nice video 👍🏼 just got back today, 5 days on north Opeongo.
Very nice! 5 days on Opeongo is lovely ✨have to watch some camp videos when we get home to ..keep the good feels going.
