This GSXR is the most underrated new bike. I think it's objectively better than most of its competition. I predict it gaining traction and popularity, maybe even steal sales away from BMW.

Smoke 1 650ib is a beast on the street and no punk on the track either.
To say he's been doing it for a long time and all the experience he has on many different bikes he's not that impressive, and if we're being serious he has a pretty poor riding style.
Gixxers are defiantly back, latest GSXR1000 blitzed the Australian Superbike Championship in 2017 first year in against a swag of very well sorted R1Ms & ZX10s, CBRs .. wot a pisser.

I may be wrong. But I think the GSXR has the fastest acceleration in the 1000cc class.
Nice to see someone actually riding Sport tires in the rain and giving feedback. They're probably a lot better in summer rain with warm pavement than if it were cool and raining. But most sport tires like the Q3 or Supercorsa suck in the wet.

That new gsxr is SEXY!!! we rode from CT to Laconia NH a couple weeks ago in pouring rain for about 80% of the ride. I was the only idiot without rain gear and got sick as a dog on the ride back...still had an awesome weekend and wouldnt change a thing. Lol You're a brave man flying in the rain at those speeds.

I have had my 2017 GSX-R1000R since March, got a deal on it from the Dealership, Only bummer to me is No Turn Signals in the Mirrors anymore!!! Shoot, even my 1985 GSX-R750 had those way back when I was a kid riding the way you are riding that one there, Great Vid 650!!

Dontcallmeshirley ib usually races bikes with similar mods (ecu flash, exhaust, wheels, the blue hoses, etc.)
The US r1 is restricted from the factory.
The r1 in the US is in a different state of tune, when compared to the rest of the world.
Has been like it since it was released in 2015.

What is to major differences between the new gsxr 1000 and the gsxr 1000R? I went on suzuki's website and they still don't have a price on the gsxr 1000R yet?
One of these for sale at local dealership near me for $13k. 2018 BRAND NEW, GSXR1000R. 1 mile on it. Unreal value.

With a 0-60 reported to be 2.9 thats 0-120 mph in about 6 seconds. Wild. For people that aren't into this stuff 0-60 in a car in 6 seconds feels fast. Now double that

Does your R1M have clutchless up and down shifting yet? I had a 13 R1 with the CABS system and loved it. Sold my 2015 R1M and now may get the new gixxer or an R1 or another R1M.

Suzuki machine is awesome the Suzuki is well known for the refined engine and power delivery and Gear Box.
As of now, would you prefer a 2019 GSX-R 1KR or the 2019 ZX-10RR ?

in the underbone category, i owned both from Yamaha & Suzuki in the past. and in my honest opinion, i love the Suzuki more than the Yamaha although my Suzuki was a 2-stroke and the Yamaha was a 4-stroke. It was very fun to ride the Suzuki, great sound especially with aftermarket performance exhaust.

Thinking about buying a new 2020 GSX-R1000. Only thing I don’t like is the ugly turn signals. The 600 and 750 both got integrated mirror turn signals. Why not the 1000? Cutting cost maybe??? 🤔🤔🤔
Best bike out of the 1000cc hands down. And for less than 10k here in Vegas. It's a steal.

I'm torn. Currently in the Gixxer fanboy camp, as I ride a K6 1000 and it's just a fantastic machine. recently tested an S1000RR, R1, and ZX10R...and all of them felt pretty amazing... SO MANY CHOICES!

+Carlos Rafael I think it will have close to 200hp once Brock is finished with it. Please check out Brocks Performance UA-cam channel, he has it doing 185hp right now and he's not done.

@650ib - Brock already found 180hp out of this bike, just with throttle blade adjustment alone, a full tune and exhaust is going 2b scary fast. It's looking like the GSX-R1000R could be close to the BMW's power
