If it's not regulated in your country, suggest you do an egr and pcv delete along with a complete clean as shown in the video. Engines run like brand spanking new afterwards.
No was ok. I had worse. Just cleaned. But because of this shit you loosing valve seals. If no dpf visible smoke in the morning. With dpf no visible signs
Bloody maz 6 / cx5 diesel !!! , stupid and ill conceived egr valve/cooler and intake port setup. Needs a full decarbon every 170k or so. Should be free from Mazda.
i think people also might not know this is common with direct injected engines. the fuel is sprayed inside combustion chamber directly. other cars use port injection, in these cars the fuel usually keeps the carbon from building up around the valves, and depending on the position of the injectors further up into the intake runners as well. one of the disadvantages of direct injection.
These engines are terrible and you should stay away from them, if it's not the carbon build up its head gasket problems, injector problems, turbos failing. STAY AWAY from them.
Currently going through this . 66 plate 79 k miles . Mechanic has had car 3 times and still not resolved problem . Now saying intake manifold . Another mechanic saying turbo . How much will intake cost to clean . I'm hoping a carbon clean will help .
@@Machine-rx6wf the intakes do get clogged with carbon, I've seen them to the point where you wouldn't be able to get your finger through the hole, the turbos are easy to check, just take the intake pipe off and check the turbine, if it has movement in it it's stuffed, also on the wastegate the rivot holding it on can come off.
@@brucejohnson8521 I seen multiple cars come in for there second engine, I've heard in colder climates they actually do pretty well but anywhere where it gets hot they don't like it as much.
My ears needed cleaning after this...
How do you turn the music off?
Turn sound down.
Thats what i did @toddsmith1617
Have you tried seafoam?
What were you using some dirty diesel? Cooking oil? This is not normal by any stretch!
Pretty normal when egr and pcv system combine together.
I had the same amount of buildup on our 2.0tdi after 150k kms

Turbo seals? I had a 2.2 civic and I took off the inlet manifold just to check it and it was a clean as the day it was made. 100k mile car.
@@markmmm1737 diesel?
@@lewisanth4986 yep. Damn fine diesel it was too.
How’d you clean it without anything getting inside the engine?
U can turn crank so valves are closed so nothing drops in repeat on 4 cylinders but I think 2 lots are closed while other 2 open few videos on here
Walnut blasting

Treba demontovat olejovú vaňu bude špinavé sitko a zakarbonovane vstrekovače. Treba demontovat aj kryt ventilov a vyčistiť hlavu.

could you make the music a little more annoying please?
They need an air separator / oil catch can
It had to have a misfire or atleast idle rough

Omg 😂
Does this apply to a Mazda 6 2.5 gasoline engine?
Only 2.2D
Which engine is better ? 2.2 150hp or 2.2 175?
same engine just different factory tune

How much money did the client pay for that?
600€, diagnosis, work, material
That’s horrible.
Is it mainly because of the egr?
I safely say that it’s 90% due to the EGR
yeah but skyactive also manipulates valves and allows burn gas go into intake, no matter egr or not
Yeah, because my Skyactiv G turbo was similar to this and it’s not even a diesel lmao.
any engine with PCV system (which is all engines) will redirect unburnt gas to the combustion chamber again, this will also contain oil vapor.

Dealership did mine at 97,000, great car, just maintenance and it's good and runs like brand new.
