I am probably the most out of the box thinker when it comes to trapping that I know. I would have never thought of feathers and/or flagging for mink. Thanks for the great idea. :)
Bearly outdoors I appreciate you watching. Thank you. It was done in the 20s and earlier but by the 30s it was no longer talked about. Thank you for watching

Many thanks Dale for talking with my brother and I at this years NTA. Looking forward to some Whisker Twister in our cat cages this year. Rabbitat! 💯💯💯
Another great video Dale. To some it may seem heavy handed but I will set a trap at the mouth of the pocket as you have shown but I also set the most likely approach on either side of the pocket also to help stop raccoons ruining the set. Those traps also pick up their share of mink also
Hey Mister Billingsley, Could you show your TRAP FASTENING - chain, cable, wire length and type, connection device and anchor (wood or metal stake, earth pipe, pogo, etc. drag or grapple) for all your demo's on the different target species. Probably 1 or 2 entire segments from water to winter frozen land for trap and snare. I know you were high on Pogos at 1 time in the water and touched on Wolf Fangs but as we get closer to the fall maybe a segment in how your rigs are set now and any changes when you are in the southland. The why's you have settled on it now is always good. Please INCLUDE any mistakes that you learned from as that is always a winner. Just the thought. ................the mike

If it's working for you Brent then keep pouring it to em. Thank you for watching
Thank you Dale, do you see you catch more two front foot catches with the 11? Going over that jaw and trigger?
Not usually Jeff. Normally just 1 foot
Great video Dale, I honestly just read the Gerald Schmitt book, your timing could be better. Mink are high in my target list this year.
Well I'm glad Doug. I knew you were reading his book so I did it just for you buddy 😂. I really do appreciate you watching Douglas. Thank you
Another good one! Do you ever use conibears at pockets to target mink?
No I don't PopPop. I have entirely too many coon and possum here for that. Thank you for watching
Could you use Christmas stencil as well? For the flagging.
Anything like that works Jim just keep it small as to not spook the mink
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 Ok thank you for sharing Dale.
