Wonderful. Unfortunately, the standard fake books give the original pitch, which is in Cm. So we need to transpose it all.
After listening to Uwe Karcher and Adam Briggs transcriptions of this....and then, your take....I prefer how you play it. I have the Briggs book which has much of Baker Boys score according to him...if you would like a physical copy, let me know....Thanks for your work on this!

If the chords to a solo section is different than the head, what melody are you thinking of or are you just making your own? Say Satin Doll....
If I don't have an idea, I just start fucking around with the melody, then I just try to follow wher the notes are leading me
