100 % with your openning commentaries: It's not about running scales up and down, is about singing engaging melodies. Thank you, love your way of play and feel music.

I've finally invested a couple of hours on this video and .... finally... I'm getting it !
    Yippee!
I've always wantd to play the blues !
A video where you separate out a small collection of right hand licks for each chord change would be very much welcomed ! Thanks.

I've watched a lot of your videos and this has to be one of the best. A great combination of knowledge/experience, desire to teach and humility. I'm 69, so I beat you age-wise. But I'm just beginning to learn the piano after decades of playing guitar. There are many great tutorials out there, but I get the sense sometimes they are partly an excuse to "show off". Your approach seems to be derived from a true desire to impart knowledge with a tiny window to let everybody know what you are capable of- to that end the "Blue Rondo" interlude at the end was pure genius- providing a little morsel of something to aspire to. I've been listening to that piece since I was 11 years old and my parents bought a copy of "Dave Brubeck's Greatest hits". I was trying to learn blues guitar at the time because that was so cool in 1966. But that piece came from another world of musicianship,

Excellent teaching .Shapes are it for piano IMO. You didn't get into sharp this and flat that like some jazz teachers do. Just this or that note and you get a feel for it. Excellent. Most of these chords are built off the 7th or 3rd.

Wow... the Blue Rondò a la Turk incorporated in the ending was super catching... splendid lesson Maestro, thank you very much. I'm still without a Piano, still working 24/7 refurbishing my home in Rome, looking forward to go back to my house in the woods and play all day. But it was very nice to see you in great shape and being so right about music (as always). And BTW you don't look 68. A great time to everybody 😊.

Have you heard the one about the guy who liked going to all kinds of guitar concerts and one day hes talking to a punk guy after a show and they are talking and the guy says wow I just just saw segovia the other night and he took 20 seconds to tune his guitar and noticed that you took about 3 minutes. The guy says I guess he didnt give a shit.
Theres a turnaround called "ladybird" though its in other tunes and I guess it works because of the 5th in the melody where a 1625 turns into a 1/b3 7th /b6 M7th/b2 7th .... just messing with it kind of cool could use as a 1625 accompaniment

Hey Tony, if your intention is to teach ... then .... slow ... down ... your ... speaking .... and ... hand ... and ...finger ... movements. But if you want to show off, your are doing a good job.
