Bentley your knowledge to fix things is already significantly better than 75% of the grown people in the country. Great job young man. You are on your way to a very bright future. Keep up the good work and have fun with the mechanic bug. When that bug bites on to you it stays with you for life and offers amazing adventures of mechanical things. Although I'm guessing it's in your DNA and you were born with a wrench in your hand. You are on the right road with the best mentors at arms reach. Great video and good content for the channel.
VicSwanby. I'd say that Bentley's automotive knowledge and skills are above 95% of adults today. Most adults can't even drive a stick shift, much less know where or what a carburetor is!
"Whatever that hose thingy is!" Your dad has to be so proud. Not only do you have his mechanical skills but also you have a fellers vocabulary down pat! 😂😂
Bentley you will never be a car salesman, your too honest and that is an impeccable trait to have. Your Mom and Dad should be very proud of you! Keep up the great work little man!!!!!!
I watched the revival of this car just two days ago... I absolutely love this car. It's so good to see that the next generation of ''a guy'' appreciates (and knows how to work on) such a vehicle!
Bentley, it's so cool seeing how close you and your dad are, and how much fun you have working together. With what you know already and what you'll keep learning, you're going to be the go-to guy for your friends when it comes to their cars.
Wow Bentley! It is said by many people who keep track of such things that, "it's always the little guy that starts something." Well DUH!!! I know Mom and Dad are proud of you. You should be proud of you. The gearheads across America adore you! Great job buddy, you have elongated the life of a BEAST!

So delightful to see a young man as yourself to get into repairing cars, Bentley. Keep doing what your doing. Soak up as much knowledge from your father. My father passed his knowledge onto me. I'm 67 and hope to do the same for the younger generations. Great video!
Great job Bentley! Can't wait to watch you build your first drag car! Hope it is a big block Camaro! I know you must have a few around there ... Thanks again for including us on this. You made my day!
Excellent video. But most people your age that are watching this video don't understand how a carburetor actually works. Have your dad, take one of the hundreds of carburetors he has access to, make a cutaway model and have you show the air route and fuel route through the carburetor. I'm a retired Air Force C-130 mechanic. Not only did I teach the younger airman on just how to remove and replace a component, I showed them the working features of the component, I explained why we are replacing a component. The people watching your videos, are at the age where learning is at its prime. There no such thing as too much information. Great job on the video.
Everything has been said before me,but God it is so beautifull to see Bentley managing all his skills already, he has the best and the nicest teacher of the world. Great video! I am working on old motorcycles and have one daughter who,of course doesn't care... Congratulations to Bentley and his family.( Thy Belgium)
You young MAN are an inspiration! Following in your Dad's footsteps will be a very positive move on your behalf! Best of luck, keep up the great work! 💪
Proud of you for your dad buddy!! And probably for most dads… can’t seem to get our boys out of the house and away from the games and phones long enough for anything except maybe to eat…😞 guys like your dad and me are a dying breed and I love seeing your love and enthusiasm for the knowledge that we old fellers are willing to give..❤
Bentley, your knowledge is amazing, what a great father you have, I love watching you grow up, my favorite channel, thank you Derrick for what you do, PEACE ✌
Bentley, the video of you and your dad working on getting this Le Sabre up and running the first time is one of my all time favorite ones. Great to see you working on it now!!
Good Job Partner. What a great way to spend time with your father learning something new and then showing the world. I'm excited to see what you do next!
Keep going young man your family is setting you up for success, can’t wait to see the man you are going to be, you have an awesome future ahead of you.
Bentley, so glad to see you're bring this old LeSabre [Le-SAY-ber, you said it correctly] back to life, Such a cool example of lat 60's GM luxury and styling. A couple of things, you're right when you called it a "hardtop", the name of the missing pillar in hardtops is known in the design world as the "B" pillar. An easy way to remember it is the pillar for the windshield is the "A" pillar, if there is one between front and back doors that is the "B" pillar and lastly the pillar rear of the back door [even if it's just a 2 door] is called the "C" pillar. Something to keep in mind, the piece you pulled off the old carb and put on the new one to make it reach the fuel line is the fuel filter. A lot of these old GM carbs had the fuel filter built right into the carb, not like the inline/plastic and paper filters you're used to seeing your Dad use. In fact, on some old Carbs, the fuel filter doesn't have paper in it at all, instead it looks like a tiny porous brass puck. Think of it like a big metal LifeSaver candy, that goes in between the fuel line and the carb right at the carb. Great Job, get Mom or Dad to take you for a spin in it! Better yet, let them have you drive it around the farm!
Nice job Bentley!!! The Ol'Man's pride & joy, his brand new 68 maroon LeSabre 400. All 4 of us kids used it for our driver license tests. IF ya ever want let loose of that one...
I was you 50 years ago. I used to fix my Dad's '70 Buick Electra. The engine looked just like your '68, but it was the 455. Nice job with the gas line mod. I subscribed and thumbs up'd.
A few years ago my wife said. you would be the heir apparent to the show. It seems to be happening. You did a very good job with the carb and the video presentation. 👍👍👍
It’s awesome to see Bentley wrenching following his old man. We have to teach the young generation this stuff or it will be lost with the Gen Zacs etc. my dad taught me everything he knew about cars and then I blew his mind away with what I learned. And fixed his cars in his old age. I became a L1 technician and it’s fed my family for 25 years.
I was around your age when my dad let me start working on the tractor and cars. I was raised on tobacco road in N.C . ,so we had to fix the equipment that broke in the fields. Great job my little man, your a fast learner!! 😊😊
Great job, Bentley! As much as your dad enjoys your help, I can tell you that if he did not trust you and think you weren't capable he probably wouldn't have you doing it. The fact that he knows you can handle it and have the ability is why he had you do it. Plus, he knew Theodore was there to supervise, lol. Excellent job again, Little Grip. Keep showing the old man a thing or two... he'll get there some day.
I only have one critique to offer. When you say "bring the thunder" you gotta mean it! Bring it from down deep and put all the feelings into it! Great job though seriously!

The lesabre is my favourite car on vice grip garage I love it's Style and body lines , and it's a four-door hardtop , love it 👍🇦🇺 thanks little dude for bringing it back
Great job... The Quadrajet (Quadrajunk) carburetor is a bit of a pain to rebuild, but once you learn to do them it's not too bad... And yes you know more than most people today, Thank you...And you are a fine young man for taking this project on

Hold my root beer. BA! HA! HA! HA! Perfect!
Root Beer !!!!! LOL
How he said le Sabre like his old man made me chuckle
Derek, you and your Wife should be awful proud of that young man ! It's a testament of how a fella and a fellette raised him !!!!!!
Soon you'll be draggin' a rusty heap out of the weeds and driving it home... with sketchy brakes.
