When I went through basic there was a single non trainee that was looked at without any kind of negativity towards from us or the Drill Sergeants. He got diagnosed with asthma while we were there, but up until that point he did damn near everything within his power to be the best he could. I wish that guy the best of luck. Woulda been a great Soldier.
I was one of those individuals, being medically separated from the Navy due to injuries. We might not have graduated, but we still support those who did! Keep your head up!
The key is "up until that point he did damn near everything within his power to be the best he could". Forget Basic Training, _in life_ people respect people who give it their all. We can respect a guy who tries hard and falls short. We do not respect people who do not try, and people who quit.
My Drill made the quitter in my class carry a potted plant around for the entire cycle. Told him he was a waste of oxygen. This was in 2005 when people had thicker skin lol
Yep I couldn't do Drill and ceremony had 2 left feet. Drill Sgt Torez got in my face called me Private Gomer Pile. Had me stand watching everyone with my hat backwards and my thumb In my mouth. Was humiliating and horrible. Then he assigned me the Platoons best Private as my new battle budy and we had to practice at D&C every chance we got. I worked very hard at it and became one if the best in the Platoon. My Drill handled it perfectly tought me several life lessons that a way.
Your supposed to get treated like shit. THATS WHAT ITS ABOUT! Sadly everyone loves to be pussy hurt.. so many people actually fucking quit when I had me a medical injury that got me fucked out. I literally fought for hell on earth to keep going. But I had people quitting beside me that said it wasn’t for them. And they had the chance to graduate before I even did... it’s fucking upsetting and then they get pissed because they don’t have any special rights with getting out.
i didnt got into Basic Training ( its called diffrent in Germany i think) even i wanted to but still enjoyed the Video. Funfact: Switzerland can put you into another Training if you are good enough in Basic Training and you cant do shit against it.
Archi the Penguin you’ll never be able to accomplish anything worth while in life if you walk around with that kind of attitude. Pick your chin up off the ground and if joining the military is something you’d really like to do then please do it. There’s nothing more rewarding in life ( apart from being a husband and father ) then being a member of the US armed forces. That goes for both of you
I went to basic with this guy. We trained under the same company and to be completely honest he was an absolute cancer for everyone and the drill sergeants kept him on purpose for an extra 6 months
@Ronnie P Shit I'm no soldier but I've eaten gas station sandwiches with unholy hands more times than I can count. Diesel fuel and gasoline, hydraulic fluid, oil of several different types, fertilizer, pesticides, rotten potato/squash/gourd, dirt, lithium grease, roof tar, paint, probably plenty more. Maybe a quick rinse with a bit of water to get the bulk of it off. The guy's actually being a big whiny pussy.
@@whatbroicanhave50character35 Amen brother! You don't have to be a soldier to be a man. When he started whining about hand sanitizer it made me wonder if it wasn't really a woman. Your list looks a lot like mine! Last week I swapped a fuel pump, so I'm covered in gasoline, but I cleaned my hands like a man- with a shop rag!
@Ronnie P Nastiest shit I ever had on my hands while eating is glyphosate. Not the baby bitch diluted Walmart roundup stuff, no I was diluting the ultra-concentrated stuff with gallons of water for weed treatments on nearly a hundred acres of crops. Plenty of times I'd get done spraying and just sit down for a snack or lunch after pouring some water from a bottle over my hands and rubbing. Got done there when I nearly lost my life to a machine though, we weren't what you'd call "OSHA compliant". My point is, is you're usually expected to do what you gotta do to get the job done right and get it done quickly. Washing your hands every time you might have a little something on them wastes tons of what little time you have in the day. We've 100% tried guys out and laughed hysterically every time we saw them wipe their hands on their jeans and we definitely didn't invite them back a second day. Sure sanitizer doesn't take any time but I don't know man, I hardly ever get sick and I don't bother keeping my hands meticulously clean unless I cook for someone else or I'm getting done for the day so I don't get black lightswitches lol.
"Private, if you don't get the fuck away from me, I'm going to kick you in your chest until your lungs collapse" -The moment I realized I preffered my airways functioning, and got away from the Drill Sergeant.

Need to go back to the days when Drills could put their hands on you. My family day was hilarious, my twin showed up and they started yelling at him and wanted to know why he was in civil clothes. It was hilarious when I asked if they were looking for me and when the Drills turned around and saw me they were like WTF...LOL
Should have told them you were part of a Top Secret Experimental Cloning Program with the CIA, and they wanted to see the effects of one clone in the military and one in the civilian sector, and see if Top Secret information could be transferred telepathically.
Thought the whole thing was about toughening ppl up for battle? Seems like anything that doesn't cause real damage (physical or mental) should be ok for basic training
Even as a non-trainer, I still tried my damdest to pull my weight. (I broke my arm in red phase) I would still do PT that didn't require my arm, and I would do forward lunges on exercises that required arm usage until the battalion commander told my DS not to let me. When that happened, I started taking over all of the Fire Guard so my battles could sleep to the point where I was a literal zombie. DS asked me what the hell was wrong, and my battle told em' "Moseley Didn't wake anyone up for Fireguard.) In the end, I was sent home on temp leave for R&R, but when it came time to give it another go, I specifically asked to be placed in my old company. And you best believe my DS's were on my ass much more than everyone else'. But that's something I expected and was humbled by. My DS's expected more of me because I was a recycle, and that only made me want to try harder and prove they were correct to believe in me. Long story short, I graduated at the top of my platoon with a rank upgrade. 3'rd Platoon was the best of all 5 platoons, winning all four flags too. Here I am now writing this almost two years later about to promote to SPC. The Army will NOT give up on you, and nor will your Drill Sergeants, First Sergeant and Battalion commander. You just have to show them that you are motivated to succeed.
So true brother. You listed your Drill, Battalion Commander etc, but I'll add to that. In the civilian world and everywhere on the planet, people respect you for giving your all. I've had guys that I never got along with, and didn't like me, also admit they respected me. Give it 100% at all times and you'll be surprised who is noticing.
When I got to boot in the Navy in 86 I was a total cluster fuck. The CO put me up front in the barracks and had the company Master at Arms (a man 10 years my senior) take me under his wing. By the time we were done with service week (week 4) I was a fucking squared-away sailor. Hardcore, standing tall and passing the tests with ease. The CO never gave up on me, and I made him proud by not giving up on myself. I went on to Apprenticeship training and then to the fleet. After one year aboard a ship, I was trained as a Hospital Corpsman and then trained 8404 field medic I gained my FMF in 1994 and went on to serve with the USMC in several combat operations. I served 20 years retired and now work for the VA as an RN. I take care of our brothers and sisters and make a hell of a nice living doing it. I owe it all to a BT1 who was my training officer at Great Lakes Ill. He never gave up on me; he was very hard on me, but that is because he knew my limits better than I knew them myself. I would not change a thing. Semper Fi brother! Much love from an old navy man.
Air Force here, Don't you put that juju on us, sergeant Hy. We don't want this loser. He'd probably fall out of his chair and complain about unsafe work conditions in his cubicle. Keep away!
I still remember the first day of basic back in 92 when the drill sergeants asked if there was anyone who felt like they made a mistake and wanted out. One kid raised his hand. Legend has it, he's still out processing to this day.
This is about my company. A Co 1-19. Miller was cool. DS Gusman was a POG. 88 Mike. Everyone hated her at first. This guy punched me on the eye after I pushed him out of the kill zone lmao. I stood there and just laughed 😅

I had a heat stroke in basic training and went back to my flight the next day. 104.7 temp. Those guys that weren't willing to work got no respect from others. My brother got discharged from the Marines after 2 months when he got pneumonia and they discovered his heart murmur. He still fought to stay in.
Hey brother swimming down river, don't send him to the Army. We'll take anybody.....besides quitters. Tracking? If not we'll sink your ships and use your crayon eating offspring as replacements as you talk to the chair force about filing a complaint.
DjSourNipples I was Army 74-76 and the quitters had their own barracks and were not allowed to blouse their pants so everyone could recognize them and pick on them also my embarrassing nephew quit the Army a couple of years ago
I miss basic training. Then again I also miss Iraq. They were the best vacations I’ve ever had. I remember one guy from my basic training company that went to take a piss when we were on our FTX. The drill Sargents popped CS gas and the dude freaked out and forgot that he had his gas mask with him and ran screaming into the woods and kissed a pine tree. It still makes me smile when I think about it.
On the bus to fort jackson right at this moment! Wish me luck Edit, I've already gone thru all my training, had a bad airborne jump with my unit. I've been medically discharged! Thank you for your support but I am a vet now haha
I did not pass basic training either. I was medically separated from the Navy due to injuries sustained to both feet and both tibias during training. Even I, someone who essentially failed out (against my will) and lost my rate due to a previously undiagnosed condition, felt more pride for myself and more dedication to my branch than this individual. I felt ashamed to be separated, but at least I didn't cry and whine like this guy!
rightfully so my dude. you actually tried AND had actual reasons for being dismissed.. so, incase no one said it, well done.. regardless of the outcome 🤝
I was also medically separated from the Marines. I watched my platoon graduate without me. I refused to leave my training company, but due to my case, I was DONE. My only regret is not getting IT’d one last time.
Especially during covid bro. We had a dude threaten to kill the drills, told this directly to one. This was within the first couple weeks and he was still a holdover when I left lol. Dude continued to be a problem too. My DS threatened to send him back home in a body bag cause he was sarcastically telling the DS what HIPA means after he went down to 1st SGT to tell him that he's gonna fight a guy for whistling "I've been working on the railroad" lmao.

Actually - Daniel Greenwell was one of the NON-trainees. You know, the fuckin' mopers who didn't have the swingers to get through basic and were being recycled to the next group. Which he even failed at that. So they dropped him entirely.
I didn't make it. I'm not proud that I didn't make it. I wasn't in the physical shape I should've been when I went, and I had options I didn't want to lose, so I wasn't willing to recycle. I adapted well, mentally, to the soldierization process, but I was physically weak. That being said, excuses are like assholes. I would never badmouth the Army because I didn't make it. The DS weren't cruel, they were hard. Not one of them didn't wear a CIB. All in all, my time in basic training was very good for me. I learned so much about myself. I'd do it again, in a heartbeat. But as it is, I'm serving my country as a civilian, and that's okay too. You join up, don't be a shitbag. You get drummed out, don't be a shitbag, and damn sure don't blame the Army. I'm not a soldier right now, not because green team bad, but because I sucked. And you're damn fucking straight I'll take accountability for that to anybody that asks.
I was Navy. Went to boot in Orlando in 1983. I caught pneumonia at the end of week 4 so I spent work week in the hospital. I got released, went back to my company, and graduated on time. Barely. PT sucked worse than usual but I made it. So I have no sympathy for someone just dropping out.
I miss the creativity of my drill sergeants from basic training. It was a struggle to not laugh at their insults the whole 10 weeks even when they were directed at me
Michael verhoef - dang, I cant remember the number of times I got mashed for snickering at some cockamamie comment our company commander or chiefs pulled outta their ass. (navy)
for me it wasnt the insults, it was the pranks. DS walks around while we are outside our barracks eating our MRE's, he's silently picking up privates rifles, and even a SAW. I noticed on the first one being picked up, and whispered to my battle buddy to secure his rifle. I think the one guy picked up like an entire platoon's worth. Another incident, again, chow. We march back to the barracks, we had some brass there at the time, DS addresses the company "COMPANY, Do we perform facing movements while at port arms?" Company: "NO DRILL SERGEANT!" DS: whispers to the LT "Watch this. Company, Right Face" half the idiots moved, I didn't and I was just shaking my head.
I kinda miss the DI's creativity. One killhat I had, SSGT Cooke, decided he would test my peripheral vision during range week and kept passing by behind me without actually getting far, all just to make me say the greeting the day say several times and hope I slip. Spoiler alert: I gave Hime the greeting every time and he eventually gave up.
We had a guy at basic that thought assaulting a Drill Sgt. would get him thrown out. Not sure what happened to him but I do remember that when he left the barracks he was on a stretcher.
Day 0, in front of the entire company. Said I wanted to quit. They laughed at me and told me they weren’t gonna quit on me. I graduated with my company and couldn’t have felt any better 🤘🏻no regrets.
America could have been forced into the military for a number of reason but that fact that he stayed already makes him 100x better than the “dude” if he even is one, in the vid^
I was at basic with this guy. He leaves out lots of details to sway his points in his favor. 1) We had plenty of personal hand sanitizer that was a requirement to our uniform everyday. He chose not to bring his with him. 2) You didn’t get a protein bar because you didn’t participate in any PT, workouts or smoke sessions. Most of us hated them and wouldn’t eat them. You sat in the corner and got to twiddle your thumbs half the time while we did 8 count pushups. 3) The sexual harassment incident was brought on by Greenwell. He was the one to make the complaint. As soon as the complaint was made, DS Guzman was out on leave until he left. That was roughly 8 weeks. That put the additional work onto the other DS in the company who already didn’t want to deal with your non trainee attitude. She would ultimately return to the company and become unfazed by the incident. 4) There were worse incidents in that cycle. Plenty of other outlandish events that would require more investigation and energy than your relatively mild “sexual harassment” incident. How about the non trainee who made sexual comments on a photo of a trainee’s underage daughter? Be real with us for a minute. You didn’t like DS Guzman and chose to take your shot at getting away from her.
Angry Cops DS Guzman said she wanted us to find our manhood, hinting towards a smoke session. She felt like no one was following DS orders and she took it to an elevated level. Part of it was to show that we weren’t following orders. The other part was to go over the top to try to quell disrespectful behavior. She was known for being quick to stomp out a problem. Ask, show, make would often just become show and make
All she said was that we were going to find our manhood. We were told to grab our crotch over our uniform. It was an incredibly mild incident that was unnecessarily blown out of proportion by him. Even to the point of Greenwell requesting a lawyer
Ah. This dude's lectures remind me how my step dad raised me. He was raised by a Marine. It sucked being chewed out and disciplined sometimes because If I smirked or laughed I would get backhanded, but I survived and it was good for me. I think it is a great idea to speak to trainees like drill sergeants traditionally do. The more pressure they have on them at all times, the more hardened their nerves will be during moments in their career's of extreme pressure situations that demand precision and timely decision making.
There's also me. I'll take him, give him to the Koreans for target practice, and I'll take his soul and absorb it cuz Satan sure as hell(pun intended) not taking him.
He's the guy I made quit just by talking trash...I mean that is sort of the point but as much as I pat myself on the back for successfully getting into someone's head I'm also disappointed because I'm hoping they're tough enough to handle it. Nothing replaces the rush of real competition.
I was incredibly pruod that my son was accepted for British Royal Marine training last year (he's still in and loving it) but the thought that he will hopefully meet someone like you and take some of the morals and commitment that you show makes me even more proud of him.
That's one thing I regret. I would have loved to try for the British Royals. I hear they're a different cut but frankly, military life just isn't for me. Did my 4 and got out. Plus, trying for residency in the Queen's and all of that would have probably bared me out till the age limit caught up with me.
You must be a Marine, lol. My Marine had great respect for his DIs. and he told me repeatedly that they were not Drill Sergeants, lol. Thank you for your service!
And the best will be actively trying to kill you slowly but that some how caused you to find the strength and motivation to finish your task. Which then got rid of their motivation for killing you, so they jut leave you to recover.
But...what if you were REALLY offended by some comment someone made? What if that overheard comment almost made you CRY? Surely that is a valid reason to quit stuff?
Thats definitely the most stupid shit ive ever heard if you giving up thats not dishonorable sometimes its much harder to give up than to countinue. But I know for some people its really hard to imagine that they are not the center of the world and that they inflict others with their actions.
what if you realize you´re just going to die for a fucking oil company or, in any case really, people who dont give a flying fuck about you, decide that thats not your cup of tea and drop out? but i get it, those who are, be it with good intent, still willing to give their life to these idiots have to be protected from any idea of not doing so, thats why they harrass quitters i suppose.
When I was in Basic Training I disliked it very much that when I got injured, and I got put with the quitters on the side line, because I was hoping to return to training but they would just try and convince me of quit saying "its not worth it" and that I'll "go home sooner instead of being recycled" they really can be a cancer
I broke my leg in week 9, I had to get carried to the drill Sgt. To go to the doctor. Literally. On 4 other privates soldiers. I didn't want to quit. I went back and passed the next time.

I went through USMC boot camp Sep-Nov 1983. Just about 2 weeks before graduation, the other DIs used us as an example when recruits tried to quit inside 3 weeks. All you have to do is drive on. Once the leadership sees you don't quit, they let you struggle forward and actually encourage you. You weren't forced to join.
Nicholas Parton that would’ve been hilarious. Ours were only allowed to moved into the barracks, after we moved out. They spent most of the time sleeping in the CQ.
Nicholas Parton one of them didn’t like reporting to whatever duty they did. So our drill would send out search parties with explicit instructions to beat his ass if he resisted. The one time my battle and I found him, we dragged him about a half mile by his feet with about 100 yards through an asphalt parking lot.
it was satisfying doing so to someone not allowed to graduate because he failed a drug test. it was funny seeing him standing watching through a window while we stood in formation and class A's. it just so happened he was also the same guy that noodlearmed a live frag and had to be saved by the DS. he completed all training and wasn't told he failed to graduate until we started rehearsing for the graduation ceremony
When he said the drill sergeant ordered them to touch themselves all I could think of was that scene from full metal jacket “this is my rifle this is my gun”
When I was at basic training, we had a private decide he wanted to pull the "I'm suicidal" card. When we started practicing the high and low crawl he just watched and our DS saw him laughing at us. There was another holdover that was sitting with him (he was a holdover because he received a really serious head injury that barred him from training further, he was by no means a quitter) and when the DS saw mister suicide laughing at us. He told us to stand by, walked over to him, told the other holdover to walk away. And proceeded to absolutely lay into this kid for several minutes. And said some stuff that really could have got him in a lot of trouble. But that private didnt laugh at us after that. DS told him "next time go ahead and just kill yourself. They're over there learning to be soldiers and yoire sitting here because you're a little bitch and didnt have to heart to continue" among other things

In my opinion, the army is better. They are not as strict as the Marines and I've heard that you can learn valuable life lessons from your training in the army because there they try to help you and they don't yell straight at your face like animals every couple of minutes.

When i went through Infantry OSUT, i was not the best trainee. It took me 7 attempts to qualify with my rifle, i was always falling out of ruck marches, and I had a hard time memorizing basic D and C. However, come graduation day, my senior drill sergeant came up to me and shook my hand. I asked him why, and he said "While you were not the best trainee, you stuck it out to graduate. I respect a man with heart and willpower to see things through". That was when i learned that no matter how hard things get, if you stick with something and never quit, you can accomplish what you set out to do. I have respect still for that Drill Sergeant.
Part of the training for Drill Sergeants are these things. If you don't keep the puppy entertained for a certain length then you immediately fail the class

Our run was 3 miles and about 3 weeks before graduation I was hurting so bad finishing a run I could barely walk. My Senior DI noticed and told me to go to the infirmary. I refused as that would have forced me into a recycle platoon and I wasn't about to let that happen. My DI allowed me to stay and I toughed it out to graduate. When I went to Infantry school I had my feet x-rayed and was told I had 52 stress fractures. The docs said I should take a medical discharge but again I refused. 20 mile force marches were a breeze compared with running 3 miles in those crappy boots. They called him grandpa too, he graduated.
I was 24 when I went to basic. The drills there were pretty much the same as my dad and granddad while growing up. Follow instructions, do the job and don't fuck up. Basic and AIT was a breeze for me. I could never understand the mental weakness of some of the other privates breaking down just because a drill was yelling at them. What did they expect for failing to listen and fucking up?
Personally I think it’s the lack of responsibility that is put on young men that fails to turn them into well adjusted adults. I grew up kind of privileged (particularly after my dad graduated college and got a good job) but even then I was expected to get good grades, get a job, buy my own car and pay for my own gas, insurance, and phone bill. Most people in my school looked at me like my parents were either poor or simply oppressive and unfair (these kids had everything handed to them). When I got to basic in 2015 there was a clear distinction between the recruits who grew up privileged and sheltered lives vs those who either had to pull their own weight to help the family stay afloat, or simply they were just raised to take on responsibilities at a young age (typically guys who were doing farm work or helping their dad fix up the house/car/yard since they were little). I quickly learned that the latter had an easier time in bootcamp regardless if they were 18 like myself, your age, or older, and I stuck around with them and humbled myself to learn from them. The kids who you knew had privileged lifestyles often complained a lot and struggled to understand the why they had certain tasking or how to pull their own weight. Some people figure it out by the time they hit the fleet, but some guys just never learn and they complain too much about everything to everyone and they ruin the command climate because the military caters to everyone’s feelings now and they never get properly adjusted to a military mindset, nonetheless an adult one. I know these people have always existed but it really does feel like this problem has gotten bigger inside the military and society as a whole.
Yep. I was 22 when I started Basic. I was a weak little beanpole that couldn't even get a sub 20 minute time on the 2 mile run; but you know what? I pushed and pushed. Show up at the right time, at the right place, in the right uniform, do as you're told, keep your nose down, don't be stupid, and you'll be fine; except for the occasional group punishments. I don't even remember if I personally had a DS ever get in my face after the Shark Attack; cuz I wasn't one of the ones that needed extra disciplinary correction. Physically, hardest thing I've ever done. Mentally, it was a cake walk.
@@asmoday2838 My first run was 22 minutes flat and I don't remember setup and push up numbers at first. After 9 weeks I was running 15 minutes and passing push ups and sit upstairs. After another 6 weeks in AIT I was running 14 flat, doing 90 push-ups and 123 sit ups. It is amazing what a person can do when motivated.
It's not for everyone. I wouldn't want EVERYONE out there with me with a weapon where I'm expected to depend on them to do their job or I die. I don't believe in compulsory military service for that reason alone, but what I don't understand is why so many people sign up when they ALREADY KNOW they have a case of THS?!

If I could share, as someone who quit USMC bootcamp and later continued to the Air Force. I think its always important to move forward and not become bitter, for me, it was really rough for a couple reasons that I think I just tell myself to rationalize my decision. One being I'm 125 at 5'9", and lost about 10 pounds from muscle atrophy (simply due to calorie intake vs burn from the PT and such), and the boots I received were 2.5 sizes small. This caused intense pressure sores that I'm still scarred with to this day. That was my fault because I was too afraid to "rock the boat" so to say and tell to the remaining 2 out of 4 of my DI's (which had family emergencies that had them gone for a few weeks), and to my SDI, he did his absolute best and is one of the best men I've ever met, but was simply too busy due to him unable to get somebody or have the time to switch my boots, which in hindsight seems very petty of me. As for the weight loss, it was simply a factor of the circumstance, which made it clear to me that I should not be burdening fellow soldiers with my difficulties in real combat vs a controlled environment. Maybe thats what I tell myself, but I truly did feel guilty for wasting those government dollars, and abandoning my buddies. And failing my DI's. In conclusion. The Air Force gave me a second chance, and even though they probably shouldn't have, they did, and I work hard to be better than I was, and to my SDI, he was the best damn Marine I ever knew. I hope they understood. I try my best not to regret it everyday. If anyone got this far, thanks for reading. I don't tell many people this but I thought this would be a good spot
Kinda concerned since I’m 16, weigh 96 lbs, and I’m 5’8” I’ve always wanted to become a marines officer and the way I want to do that is to graduate the naval academy. The academy has a weight minimum of 125 lbs, while I’m confident I can gain the necessary weight. Hearing that you had issues with weight and considering we are both similar in size has given me a cause for concern.

Did he still get the benefits of being a trainee or did he lose those from being unlucky
Since when do they knock people for asthma?
Couple decades. Technically you can still join with it, if your last attack happened before age 13. You need a waiver though.

Him crying about hand sanitizer was hilarious. I can't count how many meals I've eaten with greasy, dirty, muddy hands. It builds character.
We had a few back in ‘84-85, at Leonard Wood. They were the guest of honor at many sock & blanket parties.

They weren't going to let you give up on yourself.
That's awesome. Good on you!
Congrats on sticking it out, even if it did take a swift kick in the pants to get you started. You still made it. 👍
Despite our local BF trying his best to sabotage graduation only one private was held back. Senior drill did threaten to murder him though
America could have been forced into the military for a number of reason but that fact that he stayed already makes him 100x better than the “dude” if he even is one, in the vid^

Facts
You didn’t like DS Guzman and chose to take your shot at getting away from her.
and the truth comes out. what's up with the sexual harassment claim? what was this "grab yourself" incident?
Jake Baber sounds like a full blown sexual assault to me
@@jakebaber3389 yeah...you can't do that as a DS...

Seeing non trainers stuck in the barracks, as we were leaving after graduation, put a giant smile on my face.
they made ours load our bags and say goodbye to us as we got on the bus
Nicholas Parton that would’ve been hilarious. Ours were only allowed to moved into the barracks, after we moved out. They spent most of the time sleeping in the CQ.
@@ManScoutsofAmerica thats awesome. yea oura were given like 4 times to flop back and forth and still quit. it was so stupid
Same feels like a missed opportunity for the drill instructors there if they enjoyed the movie

I respect a man with heart and willpower to see things through". When I was in Marine basic in the 70s we had to run our PT in crappy combat boots. They really tore my feet to shreds. Made a full recovery and I spent the next 2 years working like hell on my run to max it. I felt really good with that accomplishment.

Reminds me of a dude we had in Bravo 2-58 a little under 2 years ago, never showered, never shaved, never did laundry, but always cried about us bullying him when we would yell at him for being a shitbag, real main character complexes these folk
For some reason he makes me want to join the military

NCO'S are good at that. I've noticed E-7 and above are usually the funniest
HES THE MERICA DRILL. Follow him and blaze your own path into the beloved branch comrade!
Alright soldiers hold out your hands for your hand sanitizer before you eat your chicken tendies
OMFG LOL
"Buu but Drill Seurgent, my hands are cut and it'll burn" -Blue Falcon.
Ummm, I had canteens with water in them, and used to splash a bit on my hands in the field after using the latrine.
Uhhh, actually, I asked for vegan non GMO, fair trade, organic nuggets drill sergeant.
Years ago someone complained about something similar and the NYPD issued out bottles of hand sanitizer to every officer...
I've never seen a drill sergeant who actually makes me want to enlist.
That's the point.... They're not supposed to make you want it, they're meant to be a standing challenge. If they're not one you can take on, they served their purpose.
Go to your local recruiting station you won’t regret it.
Too PC these days its not worth it
I think the op is saying that THIS drill Sgt actually makes him want to enlist. Could be wrong.
This shit makes me want to re-enlist.
Did you pass AF 81/2 weeks camp?
@@nikicarrie4071 Yes, been 1.5 years now
@@sethclark9220 good for you!
@@sethclark9220then you did it and you’re serving. Every marine would be proud of you for serving proudly and honorably
15 minutes of angry cops being a drill sergeant. Nice, I enjoy this.
