Well dang Mr Jan, I was hoping it would fire right up! The older generation here always said drop an aspirin in there to bring back a bad cell 🤔 Never tried it, I am like Mr Bryce been a long time since I have seen a liquid unsealed acid battery. Except for the 6 volts. Hopefully a good long charge will do the trick!! Thank you sir for the update!! Nice set of deeres there at the end!! Looking fwd to Tuesday!! Thank you Mr Jan!! 😁😁👍👍
Hi Nelson, I really hope a long charge will do the trick since I have only a 4 amp charger, if an aspirin will help I will drop some in, I need to get it running to drive it out to pump the wheels, I see all four start to show signs of low pressure, also I want use the brakes, all gears, bearings, aircon etc thanks for watching my friend, I checked again on the parcel tracking, it show it is packed for outbound USA, Customs took extremely long, hopefully in a week or three it will be there, depending on how long customs on your side will take, it is nerve wrecking lol
@@jankotze1959 Look fwd to an update soon Mr Jan!! Hope.ot works great!! I stopped by the PO yesterday to check the box, I have a tag from them saying I have package in the office but needs a signature. They were closed, so gonna check this week! Can't imagine it's anything but the package!! 😁😁
Most likely a dead cell... Lost cause. A pair of Deere, looked like they were trying to be intimate in public.. Lol. Thanks for the update and the ride!
Haven't seen a battery where I could add water lately. They've got away from that in the states. Is it true Guineas are a delicacy in South Africa ? Dad kept several ti defend chickens from predators, but we never ate the Guinea eggs, or fowl. Thanks Jan.
We still have batteries that you can check the water but the most are sealed batteries, we can't buy Guinea-fowl eggs in the shops or meat but one the farms we do eat them, very nice meat meat Bryce, I have 20 of them sleeping in my yard every night but go out during the day to the wild and return in the evenings
Henry we have big Cat 800Kva gennie on one Campus and a 500Kva on another, the one where the Condor is is the 800, when I am alone there (most of the time) I disable it to not kick in, I wait for two hours, the other far Campus where I am 4 days a week it kick in and run for the two hours load-shed,
Hopefully the battery will take a charge for you. A new one will cost quite a bit more than it did 4 years ago...I was not happy when I had to buy one last fall. This up, Jan
I don't now Vernon, it is on charge now, we will see, no cell bubbles at least, since we put in the new battery the car did not drive father than 10 kilometer in the past 3 years and it was only me that have the keys, we will see during the weekend if it will take a full charge
Hi Ron,I don't look for chains but I guess the are secured, I have only a four amp charger, it might need more time on charge, we will see Tuesday my friend, good to see you
🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍. Love the tractor.
Thanks 👍Big Charlie, that was a special on the road today
Beautiful car, thank you for sharing Sir.
Glad you like it my friend

LOL, yes a nice pair of JD's, if the battery don't take and hold a full charge this weekend it is probably toasted, will give and update, thanks Ed
looking forward to the battery update and nice John Deere
Thank you Dave
After you charge it, A quick check with a hydrometer or load tester can tell you if the battery has gone bad. Hope it comes back to life!
You are right Matt, I have non off that here at home but according to the charger it took full charge here now we will check it Tuesday
@@jankotze1959 I'll bet it will start then!
Morning Jan
Hello Colton
Haven't seen a battery where I could add water lately. They've got away from that in the states.
Is it true Guineas are a delicacy in South Africa ? Dad kept several ti defend chickens from predators, but we never ate the Guinea eggs, or fowl. Thanks Jan.

Thanks Jan. Do I understand that your work also is impacted by load shedding? That must be a royals pain! Take care.😊

you can do it Jan, bring life to the old girl again
Soon my friend, just watch the space Dave
Hopefully the battery will take a charge for you. A new one will cost quite a bit more than it did 4 years ago...I was not happy when I had to buy one last fall.
This up, Jan
Hi Danny yes it is a 638 battery, will check up the price, thanks for watching my friend
I hope it will start soon without too much trouble for you
Thanks Dave, it will my friend
does the battery have a bad cell?

@@jankotze1959 if it sat that long with no activity, I'd say it's shot.
We're those tractors chained down? Guessing bad cell in the battery but we will find out Tuesday
Hi Ron,I don't look for chains but I guess the are secured, I have only a four amp charger, it might need more time on charge, we will see Tuesday my friend, good to see you
c`mon Jan, did the other battery charge ok lol. best regards Dave
Failed my Friend, I will have fresh one Friday, stay tuned Dave
I'm not familiar with that particular car Jan. But hopefully the battery will come back to life for you. Btw, were those John Deere ??
Yes Wendell, it was two John Deeres, still have not a battery for the car
I have never had very good luck at reviving car batteries
So with me Kenny, it is shot, it will sit without a battery for now, it is not in use and will probably go up on an auction.
You going to buy it jan
I've never seen a Toyota Condor before. Batteries don't seem to last anymore....
It is a nice car Chris, I would say an old timer SUV lol, If it was aN Exide battery it would be OK
When those lead acid batteries die for a substantial amount of time it's game over. Do you think your company would ever sell the Condor?
We will sell it sometime Kobus, it have only 76 000 km on, it is in a 100 percent original shape, it is the TX ranch, guess a luxury model
@@jankotze1959 Please let me know if they do sell, I would be very interested depending on the price. Is it the petrol model?
PLEASE SELL HER TO ME
Thanks, where do you stay
I stay in Barberton Mpumalanga
