Hey 👋 we live at the bottom of Lake Superior and on top of Lake Huron Michigan if you want to you could bring one or two of those girls up here 😀 we are gone try set up some pens and fencing this spring if we can 😀👍 looks like you guys do a great job down there
It is really cold up there right? We are so fortunate to have great weather and a really long grazing season. Thank you for watching!
So you don't milk at all til 2 weeks?
Also, can you do a video on how you make your thermophilic cultures? Thanks so much!
Really helpful, humane and peaceful video. At what age do you start working with the calf (harnessing, tying up etc.)?
I will be implementing much of this as we raise, breed and milk our dairy cows. Thanks, from Nova Scotia 🇨🇦
We usually start haltering and working with them at 2 weeks. I watch Anne of Green Gables every year. Nova Scotia is beautiful.
Please help. Cant seem to get my first time mama to stop kicking during milking.😮
Good afternoon, I emailed you a couple of days ago and hope you received it. My husband and I would love to visit with you next spring? Let us know if you are able to do so. Thanks
The mockingbird drowns you out:)
Yes, so challenging making videos in the barnyard. Thank you for watching us anyway.
Is this real😢
I wish my milk in my fridge came from such sweet natural raised and loving cows. Unfortunately though the milk in my fridge comes from industrialized milking farms where calves are snatched off immediately not allowing natures path to happen. Humans dont really need milk from cows they only need their mothers milk. I am personally thinking twice about milk and milk products being part of my human cravings as I also feel sick at times when eating meat it just in my mind isnt comfortable. We humans can live on plant based foods and will never be without nutrients. Thank you for being good farmers though in the way you do things.😊
Thank you for sharing and watching our video!
In England there are places where you can buy calf sharing milk, as it is also allowed for sale now
@@blaklena Yes, there are currently 20 cow and calf dairies in the UK, and it is a growing movement.
If you just eat plants only you will be full of oxalates and lectins and feel like poop. Brussell sprouts have 140+ known carcinogens alone. If you eat meat and dairy only you'll be as healthy as you can be.
