You really have to be more specific...where does it go wrong, what timestamp in the video, same information, etc. What is it what you can't type and when?
That's the whole point of the video and from 02:08 and forward it is demonstrated how to login and reset pretty much everything you want (including the password: 03:57), as root, without the need for the password. So your concern has to be related to another video, not this one :-) If you only watch the first 2 minutes, that's just the intro and explanation of the situation and you won't get the full picture. If you mean something else, let me know please because I guess I might not understand what you mean.
Indeed, I always try to make videos to help others. The forums might be full, but I see some comments here from people that got it working and are kind enough to leave a positive comment.
