what I do different? These cams are actually pretty nice. wish I got more black friday deal of $20. I dont understand their online service. just install a microsd for recording

How can you set up the camera without subscription. I have SD card. It shows live video but no event or recorded video. Wyze can dosen't need subscription to work. Thank you.

no where does it force you to get a subscription so im not sure what you are asking. i assume you didnt format the sd card or even choose to use it, its all in the settings and advanced settings.

i'm not charging anything im using a powerpack as a power source so I dont have to plug it in to an ac outlet
