You are awesome! Thank you so much for giving us all this amazing information. I recently bought a super low mileage 68RFE for super cheap from a wrecked '22 diesel and I'm planning on stuffing it chock full of the goodies needed to hold 500ish hp and over 1000 lb-ft torque reliably. My '19s unit is stock except for a Revmax billet valve body and tuning for 225psi line pressure. It's holding what I'm throwing at it but I don't expect it to last. You are giving me confidence to try this myself.
Awesome video man, wish this was out 3 years ago, lol, had one tranny built by the dealer and it was messed up by putting in the wrong torque converter, built the last one myself and it’s still going, could of save some money on the parts you listed instead of buying a complete valve body for more money, keep up the good work, very much appreciated
Hello Hiram from Australia 🙃 Nice skills as always and great video for anyone wanting to do those mods, I'm running a bit behind but I made it here. Cheers till next time😎
Man you're the best trans rebuild dude on here...but getting those Pistons in the input drum I could not get so I ordered the sleeves to do it...hopefully that makes it easier....🤷
One question - can I upgrade my 2009 545RFE transmission UD/OD clutches with 1-sided discs from 68RFE for better torque capacity? Several sources state that input stages of 45RFE 545RFE 65RFE 66RFE and 68RFE are the same. Or shoud I stay with adding 1 steel and 1 friction disk to my OD pack only when installing RFE-PP-ODHP?
I have a question I just rebuild my transmission not once but twice both times it burnt up in less then 30 miles do les it need to be reprogram befor driving?

How can I get in contact to drop off my 68rfe for a rebuild
Why is there a dislike button?
Does anyone sell double sided frictions fir this application or is in not possible to use them in that drum? (total nube here)

Had the same thing in my 66rfe with the gas engine. Turned out to be the valve body that needed rebuilt. First shop only replaced the clutches.
