- In this episode, I install the pedal system for cable accelerator, add in a clutch pedal and trim down the brake pedal to give room for the clutch.
I also installed the steering column, linkages, and steering wheel.
Check out the awesome 1970 Challenger hemi swap my brother has done!

I got them from Mustang Steve. It's an online site. Worked out perfect!
thanks👍
Nice...you are a gymnast too...man you do it all hahahah...that underdash work is tuff stuff
Well it won't install its self! I contort pretty decently when I need to. Haha
I always wondered how much of a bear it would be to do an auto to manual swap pedal wise, glad to know its about as much of one as I imagined!
The auto to manual part alone isn't too bad if going cable like I did. Hydraulic, well, that's a whole other ball game there!
@@4WDTrek You use to work at the casino?
@@davidba7418 a long while back, yeah.
Regular gasket sealer is going to swell up and fail from being in contact with gasoline
I didn't use gasket sealer for anything in contact with gasoline.
I dont see a brake booster, no interest in power brakes?
There is ZERO room for a brake booster.
I am actually rather enjoying the manual brakes however. Makes it still feel somewhat like a classic.
I do have plans to swap in a remote brake booster in the future however.
for future reference, not showing you working on things isn’t helpful for people trying to do the same thing as you lol
I wasn't trying to make this a step by step how to video. Just more of the journey through the process. If you have any questions and need help, feel free to reach out and I can do my best to help! All my contact is on my profile. Same name across Gmail, Facebook and instagram
