      These lights are lights that you will never have to buy again. If they are somehow destroyed, they are covered under full lifetime warranty. I'll take these lights from vehicle to vehicle and they will likely out last them all.

      @@4WDTrek warranties are a joke now a days, and are easily avoided by the manufacturer. $1000 I can buy new Amazon cheapo light bars every year, and still not spend $1000. They also have a warranty. Let's also not forget thieves. Expensive light bars are a meth heads wet dream.

    • @4WDTrek
      @4WDTrek 8 днів тому

      Well, you do you! I've purchased too many of those amazon light bars for them to last maybe a year if I'm lucky. They would not hold up at all through puddles as knuckle pods nor through deeper puddles and splashes. I've had them get bashed and filled with water. I would prefer to buy a quality one now and not have to keep replacing it with cheap (hopefully) once a year.

    thank you for publishing this video! my leaking issues seem to be in the front doors. this video shows one supplier of a specifically designed door seal: ua-cam.com/video/cisOZeZitbQ/v-deo.html however, the 2-door kit costs $100 & 4-door is $250!!! 😳 i seem to only have leaking issues on the front two doors, but to me this appears to be insane pricing for mere weather stripping. have you found an off-the-shelf weather stripping product that works well for sealing the doors, and is not too thick to allow the doors to close properly? (in the video, the guy said that is an issue with most weather stripping available.) thank you! 8-)

    • @4WDTrek
      @4WDTrek 16 днів тому

      Is there damage done to the seals? Generally you can see if there is seals around the doors and the tops. The front doors of the 2 door are the same as the front doors on a 4 door. You can buy the 2 door kit and just use it on the 4 door. I haven't done any of those seals as mine were not bad. Usually it is the foam spots that are bad.

    • @4WDTrek

      Did you replace the seals in this video? I would suggest going through and really scrub all the areas clean. Also inspect the seals that go along the windshield and look for dirt, debris and cracks. Clean it out very well. A thin layer of vasoline along the rubber seals will help to rejuvenate them.

    • @4WDTrek
      @4WDTrek Місяць тому

      It has been great on the 40s. I'm not sure if the 1.75 is actually needed or not. My limiting factor currently us the slower response when turning hard one way then back the other way at slow speeds, but I think that's due to the flow rate of the pump. But for l just normal driving and on trails, it works very well.

      That is correct. Since I didn't use the town car wiring harness and computer, I had the option with the holley. I'm happy with the decision!

    How did you shorten the axle tube. The explorer is offset about 2 3/4" on one side

    • @4WDTrek
      @4WDTrek 3 місяці тому

      I did not shorten it. I left it full length. Haven't had any issues with the set up yet. No clearance issues at stock height.

    Awesome video, what brand radiator did you purchase to replace the old one? How has it been holding up?

    • @4WDTrek
      @4WDTrek 3 місяці тому

      I think it was a mishimoto one. It was a friend's jeep I did this on. It worked out super well up til the day he sold it. Unsure as to how it is now though. Probably still holding up!

    L cameraman, purposely staying off the back of the renegade. I wanna know if my latitude is capable! I didnt see the trailhawk logo on the side, now im just left in confusion.

      The renegade is modified a bit. Has a small lift and slightly larger tires. But other than that, it's all driver skill that got him through it all!

    I have a small leak that drips into the pocket on the dashboard. I'm searching for info before I tackle the problem. Elsewhere, I have no other leaks. As a new Jeep owner with zero desire to go topless, I put a bead of silicon between the Freedom Top and the back roof. Just enough to cover the exposed seam.

    The trails at tahuya have been greatly improved in the last year. I used to do it in a Ford escort. It’s way more challenging now.

    I currently have both sitting in the garage. Had the 2000 model from new it’s a great drive and very predictable. The new one is very different it’s a great drive but it’s taking some time to get used to.

      My biggest thing to get used to was going back to a non electric clutch after the electric one. It's really weird.

      When the tops leak and you don't drive it for a period of time, it can develop mold. But no more mold and no more leaks!

    I’m about to set mine up with the ram in pretty much the exact same setup. Which port on the steering box did you run to the stationary side of the psc ram? Would definitely save me some time if I knew before I hook up my lines for first test

    • @4WDTrek

      Off the top of my head, I don't recall. But I know 100% that whichever I ran in the video, it was backwards.
