Great video. it would be great if the sim designers could standardise bindings so the same options were available across all sims. The x-plane issue is fixable. im currently working on a joystick profile which will give an additional binding to toggle reverse off when you close the lever.
I have the Boeing TCL Yoke and Throttle Quadrant, and "Toggle Throttle Reverse Thrust" does not work for my MSFS 2020. The reverse thrust lever just flickers on screen and doesn't engage the reverse thrust. "Hold Throttle Reverse Thrust" does work though.
My PMDG 737-700 my Tca quadrant Boeing throttle won’t go to reverse thrust. When I put throttle 1 and 2 it won’t go forward the 2 and flaps lever will just go forward not throttle 1
It will be nice if you manage to explain how to set up the IAS/HDG/ALT selector because it has been difucult for me to find how to select the AP button except the HDG
Great video ! I did follow your steps precisely. In the configuration field everything does what it should do. But in the cockpit there is still no reverse trust. The weirdest thing is I have to retract the main levers completely back to get reversed trust.
Is there any way you know to make REV actually realistic? ie full REV when you raise the REV lever? It should not need the thrust pushing forward again. EDIT: [Solved] Search by name.... "Throttle 1 Decrease" bind [5] ON PRESS. "Throttle 1 Cut" Bind [5] ON RELEASE... Repeat for Throttle 2 but bind [6]
Doesn't work at all in MSFS with the PDMG 737-800. I did exactly as you said, unbound everything for button 5 and 6 except "toggle reverse thrust", but it doesn't work. The revers levers only twitch strangely , but no reverse thrust.
Can anyone tell me how to get the correct settings for msfs 2020 for xbox series x. I've recalibrate the throttle quadrant and it's all out of whack. Full throttle sends the engines in full reverse. Idle does nothing and it's jumping in and out of each notch. To/ga flex climb etc. I've reached out to thrustmaster, they tell me to do the calibration and this is where I'm stuck at. I just want to fly. I've spent all the money and can't seem to get off the ground properly. Can anyone help
Just found this as I am thinking of buying this system. I real life the reversers work as shown in the P3D section. Pull them up to activate reverse thrust. This will be with engines idling. Then pull them up and back to go into full reverse. If uou pushed the throttles forward after engaging idle reverse, the reverse will be cancelled. So this is actually how they work in real life. For goodness sake, you should have FSUIPC on from the beginning as it connects so many things to P3D>
Hi. I'm sure the throttles do not go forward for full reverse thrust. The first pull back on the reverse levers put the engines in idle reverse, then the levers are pulled up and back again for full reverse. That is in real aircraft. Is this, pushing the throttles forward, just for the flight sims? BTW, Y have P3D V5.
Sur X Plane il est bien évidement possible de programmer les 4 Trottles du quadrant avec les 4 Poussés de gaz et aussi les 4 reverses. Pour moi ça fonctionne bien. Parfait avec le 747
I doubt there's a way to get around the toggle issue in XP11. It would be a different story if Thrustmaster would at least make it optional to have the reverse leavers as an axis (which also would make it more realistic in general, for reversing you don't push the throttle forward irl). Honestly that's quite disappointing to me taking into consideration the amount of money they charge for it. Honeycomb probably does a better job for the money you spend although I'm unsure they have an axis on their reversers.
Dosen't work very well in MSFS, maybe one try in ten.....and the yoke dosen't work in P3D.....should be a warning label on this expensive yoke/throttle.

"Hold Throttle Reverse Thrust" does work though.
Thanks - having the same issue today (10 Sep 2022) when following the video's instructions. Will try Hold instead.
Toggle is working for 787 Dreamliner.
Hold is working for my PMDG 737.
Thanks

Late reply but same and it’s for all aircraft
Same here
Hi.. Nice video! Btw, How to configure the IAS/MACH HDG/TRK and ALTITUDE in p3d?
great question...I cannot do it as well
Hi great question, someone was able to configure it. Thank you
@@FlightDeckES Do you have a link to this anywhere?
It will be nice if you manage to explain how to set up the IAS/HDG/ALT selector because it has been difucult for me to find how to select the AP button except the HDG
I'm having issues with it with the PMDG 737s. Just wont work properly even when set up like this

I have to do that as well on the B747. Its weird.

Do you fly the fenix?? I can’t seem to steer with this yoke, it’s the only aircraft that I can’t steer, any recommendations?
Thanks

Yeah same issue. I wonder if someone has done a work around
Im going crazy with this issue
my reverse thrust levers dont show any input i dont know how to fix it
can you pls make a video on how to bind the Boeing TCA HDG IAS ATT & the SEL knob on Xplane 11 ??
thanks,
what do you bind on the second Quadrant dial
Thank a bunch, TRs are working much better.
I'm getting rid of mine because the reverse thrust just never works properly
Amigo no consigo intalar el Throttle Manager donde se encuentra la carpeta modules me lo puedes explicar
How are you supposed to do it in a 746 with 1 quadrant?
how do we config, the selector knob
Can you make a video of your yoke key binding settings and throttle
great video and how you setup up for single engine?
For me when I have my reverses down it activates anyway what dk I have to do

How can I fix the thrust differencial Eng1, 2 .. perhaps up to 10%😢

Do i need to get the paidware of FSUIPC?
Very helpful chewwy n.1
How did you get the SEL bottom to work?
Hey Chewwy, I tried following your tutorial and my reversers still wont work, any ideas?
would love a tutorial for the "faf" set up for p3d. tried it, but suspect that I missed something
Hi bro, can i use the hotas stick to flight this aircraft

If I buy just two separate Throttle quadrants, do I also need to purchase the hardware to clamp them together. So that I can use it for 747.
Nope, it comes with some little plates on the bottom you can connect between the two!

isnt FSUIPC payware
Nice video!!! Thanks!!
I own an exact replica of a real 747 throttle by Throttletek.

It is exactly the same system on the Honeycomb Bravo. Not an axis, but a button.
The MSFS and Xplane method complitly wrong, p3d is the correct
Dosen't work very well in MSFS, maybe one try in ten.....and the yoke dosen't work in P3D.....should be a warning label on this expensive yoke/throttle.
It’s just dumb….so dumb. They should make it work properly…for me it’s just a big set off.
Great tutorial. Why are flight sims always such faff…
Marvellously lousy design.
