- Following a puncture repair I wanted to reset the tyre pressure system and the handbook indicated an incorrect method, I videoed the method I found as I could find no relevant information online.
I have a 2020 g class and it worked perfectly for me. Amazing how you can help a person from the other side of the globe. Many thanks 😊
Glad to help
Managed to figure out how to do it by mistake when I first got the car, then completely forgot and have been struggling to find out how to do it since. Great video. Very helpful and straight to the point!
Glad I was able to help.
Thank you so much for your video. I was banging my head as could not find to reset the tyre pressure monitor. Mercedes has not yet changed the instruction. What a shame!
You're welcome. Mercedes backup service appears very poor at the moment. I have previously made their network aware of this problem and no action taken on their part. Shameful.
Life saver. Thanks mate , was pissing me off getting this notification away after a tire swap
You're welcome. Why mercedes can't produce an accurate handbook is beyond me.
MB still got it wrong in the owners manual with future models. Bloody hell. This video saved me. Great video, very clear! Thanks.
You're welcome. I advised MB 2 years ago and they have still done nothing about it. Perhaps they just want to charge for the service of resetting through their dealer network, who knows?
You just saved me a big headache on my 2021 CLA. Thanks from USA!
Glad to help
2021 ACLASS no information about this through the apps but this information provided
Fantastic
Great work pal
Thank you 👍
Glad to help.
THANK YOU!!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE THAT GOT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND ACTUALLY HELPED
Glad I was able to help.
Worked for me! But engine light is still on and says “12V battery” when i start it. Im guessing the battery needs to be replaced (-20 degrees here in canada) or just because of how cold it is, its effecting the battery
Glad it worked for you. I lost faith in the car owing to poor technical backup from so called main dealers so unfortunately cannot help with the battery problem, but it sounds like you're correct in your assumption.
Cheers, mate. Been trying to find out how to reset it but the manual is bloody useless!
Glad to help. Mercedes should be ashamed of themselves for supplying such a poor handbook.
Brilliant - thank you. searched the handbook !!! Also lots of older models are different. Thanks again
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much. I was going mad trying to find this. Mercedes manual is utter pish!
Cheers fella 👍
Glad to help.
Got a 2020 AMG CLA45. I'll try this out in a few minutes. Seems like it'll work. Thanks for the video help guide... Thumbs up 👍
You're welcome
Did it work? I have a 2020 GLB. Struggling with this as well.
Legend I been looking for this all week 👍🏽
You're welcome
Thanks mate. Keep forgetting the sequence. So many more steering wheel buttons now
It's more complicated than it needs to be.
Genius. Thanks pal !!! Took me ages
Glad it helped
thnaks, any way to change from Kpa to PSI ? thanks, regards.
I no longer have the vehicle, mainly due to the poor technical service; so, unfortunately I cannot help, but I would expect a units change somewhere in a settings menu. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Thanks alot. Your instructions are Very helpful .
Glad to help. Mercedes instructions are very poor.
Can you help with this same problem but with my CLS 2007 Merc?
Unfortunately I have no experience with that model, sorry.
Can you adjust it on car so it matches the actual tyre pressure?? My tyres are at 36 but car says 40 fromt and 32 rear and I'm not sure how to make car display them correctly as wen I go through this it doesn't change them just accepts current pressures are right :/ do I need to set tyres to what it displays and then reset and then adjust tyre pressure to where I want them?
I no longer have the car, but logically as long as your tyre pressures have been set with an accurate gauge, then you only need to tell the display that the tyre pressures balance and the readings that the car tells you will only be a guide. However I stress that the tyre pressures must be pumped to the pressures advised by MB under the conditions advised in the manual. I cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies above-mentioned, I am only a layman, using logic.
You don't have to arse cover haha. I run after market wheels (factory sensors) so my pressures may not match factory spec just wanted the car to show the pressures accurately but don't seem to be able to do that so not really very useful but I'm sure there must be a way to do it.
@@jimmypmalibu007 sorry I couldn't help, possibly you could to contact MB and see if they could modify your software to match your aftermarket sensors, but good luck with that, I am still waiting after nearly 3 years for instructions to reset the tyre pressure, which is what I later researched and uploaded in my video in order to help others in the same situation.
Thank you so much! Worked on my 250e
You're welcome, glad it helped.
Great helpful video. Thanks.
Glad to be of help, many regards
Thanks for sharing, pls don’t delete it as I might need it again lol, saved lol
Glad it helped. I got rid of the car mostly because of poor service backup, but will leave the video as it has helped so many.
This function for using run flat tyre only rite?
This function is used to reset the tyre pressures to balance one another following a puncture when the control unit detects the pressure of all the tyres is unbalanced.
Thank you sooooooo much , I was going crazy and nobody good fix it ,, thank for you video
Glad I could help
Thanks! This was very helpful
Thank you! Cars have too much software on these days!
Glad to help. It would be helpful of Mercedes to have full and accurate detailed explanations of their features in their handbook.
@@riorcp9244 I agree. Thanks again.
Whats the red circle with a 30 means ? mine shows a red circle with 3 dash
I'm in the UK and the 30 indicates the speed limit in my vicinity. I guess, but don't know, that the speed limit has not been picked up by the car in your vicinity, hence 3 dashes.
@@riorcp9244 thanks so much for clarification and any idea how to off it?
I was so disappointed with the support from Mercedes that I sold the car, so cannot really help now, but if it can be disabled then there must be a menu for it, otherwise it will be permanent and should pick up a speed limit at some point.
Many thanks....Was a bit confused.
You're welcome.
Thank you for this youtube I cannot find it, was frustrated
Glad I was able to help.
I have a 2019 a250 with mbux but doesn't show the tire pressure unlike yours
Possibly they decided to use an alternative method of monitoring on yours, after not understanding how their original method worked, I don't know.
How do I change the units of the tyre pressure?
I was extremely disappointed with the poor dealer support that I lost confidence in the vehicle and sold the car, so am unable to advise if it is possible to change the units in the display. However there are conversion tables online to enable you to find the correct figures.
thanks worked a treat
Glad it was helpful.
I have an E class and I can't see it anywhere, it's not even where you found yours.
Bear in mind my car is right hand drive. If yours is left hand drive then the relevant button is on the other side of the steering wheel. If that isn't the problem unfortunately I am not able to help, but good luck.
Thank you so much for this!!!
You're welcome
It reset and why it’s back on when I’m driving
I'm not qualified to help, but I would manually check all your tyre pressures to ensure that you don't have a puncture, and if all checks out and you still have a problem then I'm afraid it's a trip to the Mercedes technician, but since they were unable to tell me how to reset the system in the first place...................
Legend just had the light come up couldn’t find it - Mercedes really need to add it into the display settings
Glad to help. I cannot understand the lack of knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz technicians.
Thank you so much!!! This helped a lot!
Glad it helped!
Thanx worked for me👍
I'm glad you found it useful
Thank you!! I was getting pissed off
It took me ages to work it out. Why Mercedes couldn't get the manual right confounds me.
When i click on tyres i get something like the tyre pressure is incorrect but i cant swipe down to reset the tyre presure sensor. Does anybody else have that problem or even knows the solution to this? This problem occured when i switched from winter to summer wheels.
If you try the method in the clip again and it doesn't work I can only suggest contacting Mercedes, and hope you get better help than I did from them, I'm still waiting for a reply after 2 years!
Thank you so much!
You're welcome
Thank you it helped and at least you are not pestering to subscribe or hit the bell icon.

Thank you..
You're welcome.
Thanks
No problem
Not very clear...
Sorry, it was the best I was able to work out after struggling for days trying to make sense of the instructions in the manual, and getting absolutely no help from the dealer.
@@riorcp9244 not very clear from the car system ! thank you for your video ! :)
