- Rubbing alcohol is what worked for me, but please be aware that others have spilled alcohol based products (sanitizer) and ruined their canvas. My results were surprising to me and very unexpected.
I experimented with nail polish removers, magic erasers, alcohol, baby wipes and a few other methods to attempt to remove permanent pen marks.
I use the rubbing alcohol but it remove but it remove paint on my shoes
Hi! I am looking to remove painted Initials off a Neverfull bag. Do you think alcohol would work? It is a newer bag.
Wow! Your demo on LV canvas was great! I was looking for this exact solution as I am interested in buying a bag from someone who has a celebrity signature on it ! and what looks like permanent marker 😱. I may take the risk and buy it now that I see alcohol works 🙌🏼 Thanks again. I’m definitely a new subbie 😊
Thank you for your comment! Please keep in mind that my canvas is vintage so just be mindful on “newer” canvas! I would love to know how your bag turns out if you go for it ☺️
Thank you for your reply :) Yes, the piece I have my eye on is vintage I believe; 2004. It’s also a Damier Ebene print. I will be jumping in and purchasing the bag and will let you know.
@@frannlvxry942 hi, were you ever able to remove the permanent marker on that bag you were going to buy? So curious to know if it works on newer canvas🙏🏼
@@fashioncabin Hi I unfortunately was not able to buy the bag. Someone beat me to it. Sorry I couldn’t provide an update.

Do you think this would also work to remove screen print on the canvas?
Good question, and I’m not sure! Please let me know if you ever do find out
Great video, you should give Amodex a try.
I've never heard of it, I will look into it! Thanks!
I’m currently trying that but it’s not doing anything
