Over the river and through the woods….🎵🎶 Lol! I didn’t realize it was such a loooooong walk to and from the actual town center. Best to bring a bike or scooter just to get there. Again, not the type of walk I’d want to do late at night. Thanks for showing us what it’s like.
The station is a bit further from actual Reston Town Center than I think people might assume, I agree it's a bit of a walk. The office buildings are in a prime location though, so if you live somewhere along the Silver Line and get to commute to your office this way, it's not so bad. Thank you for watching my friend!
Stations very nice and I am glad it exists. But they really should make it easier to actually walk from the station to the town center itself. On Google maps it has you going all the way around due to lack of crosswalks.
I did this walk at night, and I'm not a fan of how unwalkable it is. Having to cross without a crosswalk like at 6:06, having to walk onto the main road like at 9:00, or having to rely on the "warning lights" that cars clearly ignore like at 11:50. It feels like you're expected to catch a bus or Uber to the Town Center after riding the train. Not at all a convenient station location like I'd hoped.
It's definitely not as pedestrian friendly as I had hoped. The flashing lights to cross at 11:50 is definitely not my favorite - even when I was filming, a bus had to stop for me, which prevented me from seeing the second lane to make sure a car didn't just fly by them. Super scary. I can't even imagine doing this walk at night.
Great video! It's like being there in person!
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed.

Liked! Always such a pleasure to go on a journey with you. It makes my day! 😁😁😁
Thank you so much for watching! Cheers my friend.

They definitely don't make it easy for pedestrians! I'm hoping for a dedicated crosswalk right as you exit the station.
