Bissel lasts forever. 5 years ago I bought a little canister Bissel vacuum for $40 and it still works great on my carpets and floor. Cheap not means bad ;)

The best vacuum ever. It picks up my cats hair and dirt on rugs and hard floor. No regrets! I have it more than a year so glad I brought it. You just have to empty the dirt cup and filter once it gets full.

Just a note, you want to wrap the cable to the far one first, you are creating a possible sharp breaking point by going short first.
Looking for a second vacuum to quick clean up small messes. I have Bissell SmartClean canister vacuum and absolutely love it. It's for my weekly deep clean sessions though lol. I need a small, compact and light vacuum that will clean up everyday small messes. Thanks for creating this review, very helpful!
I'm glad you liked it. Same here, I already have a central vacuum in my house but for a small mess, this is perfect since It's much faster.
Just got this on clearance at Walmart for $15. Was nervous something was wrong since box was previously opened. Got it home, looked like it had never been touched and sucking power is awesome. Very happy

Your video helped me assemble the vacuum. Yes it is easy but one of the clips wouldn’t open. On your video I saw it should have opened. I applied more pressure &’I was able to complete the assembly.
Honestly loved this quick look, you should do one on other light weight 3 in 1s or the Turbo varient of this

Had mine for 3 years now
Mine still working, I just need to clean the filter often to keep the suction going
What year is it, it should be the first two numbers on the serial number.
How did you remove the floor attachment? It goes on easily, but doesn't want to come off.
You have to tug it left and right little by little, side to side. Is kind of hard but eventually it comes out.
I have 2 sister cats one is a Tuxedo and the other a Calico. The Calico flings cat litter all over and far from the box and they both use the box multiple times a day so this will come in handy
I keep mine close to the cat litter as well :)
Do u have to replace the filter? If so where do u buy them
I had a few of these vacuums over the years and I never replaced the filter, I just clean it by hand or with a toothbrush if it needs a more serious cleaning.
@@TricksTipsFix if u clean with a toothbrush doesn’t the dust go flying everywhere? Sorry I’ve never owned a vacuum cleaner before so I’m asking
@@LNico1203 You are correct, it's better to clean the filter and empty the dust bin outside since there will probably be a lot of small dust particles flying everywhere.
I never replace mine. I had it more than a year you just have to wash it with dishwashing detergent on every use and let it dry.
You can also lightly sink was them too if you want then just take away excess water from the filter with a good paper towel and let dry
They have one where it is called the Bissell 3 in 1 tubo with powerbrush on it
I saw that one and that appears to be the only difference. But I’m sure that brush-action really helps sweep up some things.

Yeah if you have any shedding pets at home and want to vacuum carpets, you will need a brush roll for sure
Could you please show how to detatch the canister from the vaccuum? For some reason ZERO of the videos show this - and I've checked in 2 different countries. Everyone seems to think it's so obvious that they don't need to show it, but my vaccuum is now useless because I can't open it.
On the front side of the vacuum there is a grey button (if you pause the video at 2:12 you can see it, it's the only light grey button on the front)

Is it good for picking up pet fur?
As you can see in the video.. if the fur is on hardwood floors it's fine but if the fur is on carpets, then you will need to get a vacuum that has spinning brushes since this one won't do a great job.
Anyone know how to get rid of a plastic smell when it's turned on? Not sure qhat happened
I never noticed that smell with mine. Maybe after a few weeks of usage it will go away by itself?
