We actually bought this for my son when he was 18mos old. For some reason he loves vacuuming, but he was too small to use the full size shark. He's 2 now and still vacuums with it as part of his daily play - just don't attach the handle extension and it's the perfect height for a toddler. 👍
I had one, too. I don't anymore because when my family got a dog, it couldn't get the fur out of the area rugs well enough so we ended up with a lift-away which is a good vacuum but not as featherweight as this one.
i have this vacuum and i actually take it on vacation with me! my husband and i usually go to mexico to the beaches to vacation and are always tracking sand back into the hotel room. plus i have very long hair that sheds a lot. this is perfect to bring along! its super light weight and does an excellent job! i think the maids appreciate it too!
My mom got an old version of this for me in 10 years ago when I started college. It was great and my dorms had have tile and half low pile carpet. It worked wonders and when I came home, my mom used it because it was so light. They have hard floors at their house after removing the carpeting. So it’s perfect for my parents even thought they have a foldable shark rocket with the soft brushroll. The cord could be longer, slightly better filter, and a bigger capacity, but then it would get into the $40-$50 range probably.
My grandmother has one of these and she loves it. Her old stick vacuum was too heavy for her. And it works really well for getting around furniture and corner without her having to lean down too far. Would highly recommend for elderly or people with disabilities in small homes.
This thing is incredible for cleaning up my bathroom floor, after I cut my hair every week. It works perfectly on white tile. It gets up all the tiny little black hairs. Way better than a broom.
I have an old model that I had gotten for dorms when I was in college. Going on 6ish years later and we still use it for quick pickups that are solid or hair. I seriously suggest this for hardfloor dorms.
I’ve seen some teachers in the building I clean use these for their classrooms. They keep them handy in case of students making big messes before nightshift (me and my coworker) arrive. They’re nice.
Omg this is the channel I need in my life!!I love my bissel featherweight! It has served me well in my mostly hard flooring house. Also brought it to client's houses when I worked as a painter. It's extremely convenient to use, but yes has limits. It is time for me to upgrade!

wow, i've never seen such an in-depth, clear, and interesting review type video on youtube. love all the different tests done, love the scoring system. i'm going to watch more videos now!!!
I like it . I will use it in my sewing room. It not very big room and a lot of thread on the floor. I love it without the spinning brush, which means that the thread won't caught on it and easy to collect.
I clean Airbnbs and I forgot to bring my vacuum to the job (had to rush between a commercial job and the Airbnbs and forgot when I was at storage) but it worked surprisingly really good in that pinch on both hardwood and carpet
My last one fizzled out of 10 yrs bought this new one its great just wish they sold that replacement filter everywhere its hard to find it in stock would be nice if they added a 30 ft cord but instead add my own extension cord to it 🙂👍
I picked up a Eureka Blaze 3-in-1 and a handheld Bissell Pet Hair Eraser to clean my home. We have a TON of long pet hair and 95% hard floors, so a bare floor tool with no roller was a must. I found that the only bare floor tool options come on very cheap vacuums or very expensive ones, certainly no cordless options. I'm really happy with how this combo performs. I got a 12ft extension power cord to plug into it and that lets me do entire floors of the house in 1 plug. The Bissell is super good for pulling up hair from mats, rugs, and for doing dusting.
I have two of these for hand held use and find them excellent. They are older models and have lasted well as I don't use them often. One I use daily for cleaning up my pet guinea pig pen. It works great picking up poops, hay and uneaten vegetable bits. On the model I have the dust filter stays on the vac when you remove the dust cup so this is easy to empty and then I brush the filter off after every use. This little vac is great for what I need it to do, and I would imagine it does really well on hard floors. I'm wishing for some canister reviews as I am looking to purchase one.
I have this in my small apartment (800sqf) and it's amazing for things like kitty litter and our weird flooring in the bathroom in kitchen that's some sort of plastic!
I use mine in my RV. I like that it’s compact so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in a place that’s pretty limited. I loved the cheap price but went back to getting a second when my original broke (years later) because how well it actually worked. Surprisingly good suction although a little limited but given the size it’s more than you’d expect.
I got the model from about 2014, and it's great as a companion vacuum to my main vacuum. I really like the dustbuster option, but I've never used it in my car.
My sister had one of these, but hers had a brushroll, maybe it was a slightly different model. Either way, I wasn't a big fan of it, but it did do well on hard floors, but not carpets, not at all. Then again, when I tested it she had almost destroyed the brushroll with all the hair she had wrapped around it, so I gave the entire machine a servicing, but it didn't seem to help much
I don't know what you expect for under $50... if you want a good stick vac I'd check out the Simplicity Spiffy way better product, yes more money but you get what you pay for, that one offers double the cord length, better washable filter 2 speeds, way more power again as I said woth this one it's hard to complain for the price point but if you want more features you're gonna have to spend more money.
I would like to see you use a outdoor patio rug because they have much better airflow and they trap hair/dirt easily ,making it a challenge for some lower end vacuums it would also be easier to keep the rug clean between test
Hi! I want to buy a new vacuum but can't decide between this one and the Bissell magic vac. I live in one bedroom apartment with hardwood floors and crevices in the hallway, kitchen and washroom. Which one would you suggest between these two? First I was going to buy Eureka that you reviewed but as you said Eureka doesn't clean crevices well. Your input would be helpful. Thanks
I have this for 6 years now even dropped it more than 20x but still working and nothing’s change with the power and suction. What I’m hoping for are the attachments to buy.
I leave this hanging on the wall and plugged into power in our laundry room, use it daily to vac kitty litter and dryer lint, etc, off the tile floor in there.
That is a great idea! I had one of these years ago and loved it until we got a dog who shedded so much. But a decade later I wish I had it back. I bought a robot vac and that is even worse for area rugs and the robot vac dragged kitty litter all over my house.
Hi, I love your channel, would you please do a test for top vacuum for shag carpet? I could not find anything on your channel for this and would love to hear your advice. There's two rugs that I have in mind one is the rug we have (SAFAVIEH Milan Shag Collection SG180) and the other is very similar only the California version instead of the Milan. Both rugs are very popular on Amazon and both have very high pile I believe about 2". We originally ordered the California shag but had to return it because it kept getting caught in our vacuum the pile is much less dense. The Milan rug is what we currently have and we use the Kirby to clean it. We actually just bought the shark vertex pro thanks to your videos as the Kirby is too heavy for every day use. But I would love to see how your test would come out if you introduced a high pile shag rug. Thanks so much.

Hi, so I live in a one bedroom apartment, with wooden floors and I’m looking for a budget vacuum. How long would a filter last roughly if kept relatively clean? Say the hover was being used once a week for the whole apartment.
What would be the best vacuum for a 1 bedroom 785 sq ft apartment that only has carpet in the bedroom? The rest of the apartment has wood and tile. I feel like I should get a stick vacuum for space but unsure should I get, I want a vacuum that will do a good job since I have allergies and my hair does shed but I don't think I should $300-$400 dollars to vacuum one room.
Hi! Could you, please, include decibel tests, if possible? Noise can be a determining factor for people with sound sensitivity or those who have kids and pets. I got the Dyson V8 a while ago because people said it wasn't that noisy, but it is. I wanted to buy the purple Navigator you love but the Shark warranty is invalid in my country. I should have bought a Miele... Thanks for your reviews!
@@bread-gz3rl I really want a Henry, not available in my country though. I will eventually buy one, but I'll have to pay twice the original price (plus import taxes) on Amazon.
I have a Miele and absolutely no regrets, yes they are spendy but as you have learned you get what you pay for. They are among the quietest and best filtration machines on the market I would avoid shark or any bagless (except quick pickup machines) like the plague sharks for one have the worst warranty out there. If you have to use the warranty for any reason (the more expensive sharks have slightly better warranty) what they don't tell you is once you get a replacement shark not only is it a refurbished model but your warranty from then extends only 6 months from the day you receive the machine or the remainder of that warranty whichever comes later, so you essentially do not get a warranty on the new unit they sent you to replace the defective one you bought in the first place. I have a hard time believing this guy a lot of the time especially when he says the best overall vacuum is a bagless, yet he compares many good bagged machines that outperform and out clean virtually everything else he's tested. Bags are the first line of defense against allergens, mold spores, dander, pollen, voc's and other airborne toxins. And I mean a good sealed machine that uses a high quality cellulose HEPA bag, not talking about that old school Electrolux or Eureka/Sanitaire your grandma had with the paper bags that never really filtered that great to begin with. Bagless relies on seals and gaskets to trap dirt and over time they fail from all the pressure being put on them, they get dirt caught in those seals causing the seal to fail and the dirt to escape and as a result you did nothing in terms of cleaning, and you end up breathing that in and go to empty a bagless without going outside or coughing each time you dump that container, why on earth is this promoted as a better cleaner system when reality says it's not? These machines claim to be all floor cleaners when the plastic wheels they have will scratch your hardwood floors. I do suggest you go ahead and ask a flooring installer why they don't recommend shark, Dyson, Bissell or basically any store bought machine, or even ask why any reputable vacuum shop (not target or walmart) or even an allergy doctor why they don't like bagless machines.
@@jhomrich89 Good to know, thanks! Definitely, I'm going to buy a Miele (not now but one day). Vacuums are not that popular in my developing country LOL, so most people don't have a vacuum or they buy 40-dollar ones, that's what we can afford. Electronics and electrical appliances tend to be very expensive here. For example, I bought the V8 last year for $700 (on sale). I wanted a Miele but I found only two reliable distributors in my country. I am not a fan of Dyson in general but I thought it would be easier to find tutorials and spare parts in case something goes wrong after the warranty period, as it is a popular item. I found the channel Performance Reviews a bit too late, so I get your point. Bagless vacuums are not that good according to technicians. I feel Vacuum Wars is honest and does a great job, but he has a different approach: He used to have a cleaning company. I've seen several homemakers on UA-cam who use and recommend the Shark Navigator and just two who have talked about Miele. I guess for homemakers, it's expensive to buy bags often plus if it gets stolen/damaged, it's harder to replace because of the price. I think he mostly reviews popular brands because that's what the average person wants and this generates views. People who are into vacuums buy a great one and use it for the next 20 years, so those are not his potential viewers.
At under $40 you can't complain too much, I would never recommend this as a main machine but more of a supplemental machine to your main machine. Even if all you have is hard floors I'd spend the extra money on something that has a longer cord and can filter better. Only way I would consider this as a main machine is if you had no pets, no kids and really no more then 2 people living there and you're in a small house or apartment with all hard floors and maybe an area rug. Otherwise I'd suggest you get something truly built for your needs not necessarily the cheapest machine you can find as that doesn't always fit your needs. I couldn't tell you how many times someone walked into my store disappointed because they bought the cheapest machine they could find and it doesn't meet their needs or expectations and they end up trading in for something else.
Franchement j ai un aspirateur de votre marque depuis plus 4 ans et donc je suis très satisfaite je voudrai SVP un souffle pour le jardin merci de repondre
Hello, I have been looking for information on vacuum cleaners for several days, but even half of the characteristics and descriptions are not on the official sites. I saw that you have been using the models I choose from for a long time, can you clarify with you about them? I choose between Jet 75/90 and dyson 11/15 extra. Is it worth taking the risk and considering the Samsung? From the looks of it, the Samsung seems to have cheaper materials and build quality than the Dyson. They also say that Dyson has a better quality of operation, and less breakdowns happen? Again, the Dyson 15 extra has a little more power than the 11 extra by 20, but I like the color more on the 11, does it have any other significant differences? The Samsung jet 90 is slightly larger than the jet 75, and there is a docking station, is that basically all the differences? And I can’t understand how the jet 90 differs from the jet 90 extra, according to my guesses, it just comes with an additional baratea right away, but as if there is more flask in the extra? Thanks for the answer.

Wait a minute, I just realized, why don’t you test Philips vacuums? And Rowenta vacuums
Can you pls try Philips aqua 8000
I don't think they sell those in the US
Yes but it is powerfull
@@leonbrnas4080 Do you have one?
How does it do with pet hair? I have dogs who shed a lot.
I’m getting this tomorrow
We hope you enjoy it!
What about the sound? I've experienced these vacuums to be so loud it's almost unbearable!!
Yup totally agree. I live with my roommate and we have hardwood/tile and one rug and it’s perfect to get crumbs and hair. Def not heavy duty tho
Sad this could be perfect for me if it has a better filter!
Is it 110 or 220 volt?
I have a blue Fe AterWeight volcanic
So it’s a no go for carpet 😶
Pls help. My vacuum stopped working. 😢
My friend gave me hers but it has a plastic stinky smell when it turns on. I cleaned it out well but it still smells..anyone know how I cam fix it
Check if she put the black filter not the main filter
Franchement j ai un aspirateur de votre marque depuis plus 4 ans et donc je suis très satisfaite je voudrai SVP un souffle pour le jardin merci de repondre
Great vid as always. But you need to have the title of this video say "2023 REVIEW", not "2033 REVIEW."
2033 is the part number, but thank you!
your website is down
thanks
can you please try out the featherweight turbo
I can't make any promises right now, but thank you for that suggestion.
Had one of those in a temporary apartment I rented. Not bad. But I'd never buy one. It was VERY loud and felt cheap - because it was cheap.
Cord in 2022 its a no go 🤷🏻♂️
yeah... ill never go back to corded vacuums.
Wow buying
Je veux dire un souffleur pour ramasser les feuilles morte merci de répondre et êtes vous tjrs Z Alger
I’d buy just for fun 😶
