I'm from MN and grew up eating Taco John's. Edit: turns out it was a white American who started it. It is not authentic Mexican food. But it is good. They call it West-Mex. And it is called Six Pack & A Pound. You get six crispy corn or soft flour beef tacos and a pound of Potato Ole's, which are just the same as BK's hash brown rounds but with a lot of seasoning. And they have a tasty but crappy nacho cheese sauce.
