When I about eleven, my aunt’s best friend cleaned out her makeup stash like you. (This was 1971) She gave me this huge bag of makeup to play with. I thought I was in heaven! My aunt asked why Carmen didn’t give those products to her.🤭This has nothing to do with a spring cleaning of beauty products but it brought back a very fun memory of a day that I felt like I had won the makeup lottery! That was a 😢big deal to an eleven years old girl! 💄💅🧖🏻♀️
Fortunately I am someone who loves to throw things away . I live minimally clutter makes my mind feel cluttered and overwhelmed . How much can a person use !!!! ❤️

Love this ! I absolutely love a clean out video to find out why people don’t like a product. It helps so much when purchasing because the beauty market is so flooded with products that it is completely overwhelming to me ! Plus I am sick of buying things and not liking them and wasting my money ! Thanks Dominique !!! By the way I love your soft makeup today, it’s gorgeous !!! It would be fun to see a tutorial of you using your favorite products on yourself with an explanation of why you love them. Hi, I organized everything starting with the Christmas stuff after the holidays and just kept going. I just now finished closets, drawers, make-up, dressers, office papers, book cases, purses, shoes, pet supplies, and clothes. I too feel great that it is done. Ready for Spring break now.. weather permitting.
This type of video is truly motivating, I do this every year, twice a year with my clothes. When I switch from fall/winter &spring/summer. Saves so much space!

I just started doing a deep clean of my makeup. I realized I had lipsticks that were 7 years old! I had a recent skin flare up where my face was on fire - red and sore eyelids, pimples, rash like skin on my forehead and I realized I was using old, expired products that were making my skin angry. I kept wondering why my eyes were always watering - probably from 5 year old eyeshadows! Yikes! On the good news front - Avene Cicalfate turned my skin around in 3 days!

Loved this! I enjoy decluttering. There is something to be said for cleaning out...I find it helps my mind declutter, too. Cleaning and organizing is therapeutic for me. Put on some music, cuppa joe and I'm ready to go. I almost purchased the facial cleanser you featured. I use Cetaphil, and now I use the Walgreens brand. It is exactly the same, and cheaper. Does not leave my skin dry. Thank you! Would love a makeup tutorial/video on how us women in their 50s+ can wear colors other than neutrals. I do, but I'm seeing more blues, lavendars, pinks and brights, and would love your take on it. Blessings to you! ❤

I have heard you speak highly of one of your sponsors, Jenni Kayne especially the "Everyday Sweater". I received one as a gift and was very excited. Today I wore it and within 2 hours it was covered with pilling at the sleeves and sides. I didn't think much of it and picked it off. The same the occurred throughout the day I contacted the company and they stated that this is normal for their fine yarns. I was so disappointed that a high priced sweater would wear so poorly and I felt shabby wearing it all day at work. I just wanted to make you aware as I think your subscribers take your recommendations seriously. Thank you again for all you do!
That sounds so disappointing and it should not happen with the best quality. I had an Eileen Fisher sweater for years that never pilled. Can you return it or exchange it for something else? Thank you for warning us!

Love this video! I never understand why people buy expensive blender sponges. I don't even like to spend much at all on them. They are so hard to clean! You use them, and then if you just rinse them in warm water, they're not clean. I have to rub mine up against a bar of soap or a cleaner to get all the makeup out. It makes me keep my hands in water too much, and then I ruin my nails!!
