In the hack using the half the tissue, instead of tearing in half, separate the 2-layers of tissue and use a thin single layer when applying powder to the lipstick. I think I will try it.

I've never tried on of those eyebrow stencil thingies...but seeing how yours turned out I don't think I'd want to. Your brows look better when you just do them "free hand".

This was a lot of fun! Your next hack should be where they do all the contouring with all the brown, white and what ever colors stiped on your face and the blend them all in!! That'd be fun!! Thanks!!

I was a makeup artist for Lancome and we discovered that a long time ago. You do not need to go through those steps. Just lightly powder skin, usually loose powder, after moisturizing. 😊
I was a makeup artist for Bobbi Brown at Neiman Marcus, and I concur!
I will definitely use fingers for blush and contour.
That sounds great for people with normal to oily. I'm normal to dry so I don't think I need that.

You had me laugh/crying. 🤣😭 The eyeshadow hack reminded me of the 80s "rainbow" eyeshadow, which I actually wore...outside the house. 🫣 Thank you, Dominique. Please keep the great content coming, girl! ❤
In the late 1960s, we also added the Cleopatra double liner (1st black liner; then thin line of white liner above the black liner) to the rainbow eyeshadow. Gotta say it looked nice!! 😃
Loved all the hacks and how much fun you had demonstrating them for us. Here’s a beauty tip for those under eye lashes: using Lancome eyelash primer, brush on your under eye lashes. It goes on white and dries clear. Let dry and you’re done! No more smudges under your eye from mascara!!
This was so fun! Loved the lipstick hack and I might play around with the finger wing tip. 😂
I tried the finger wing hack and love it! I don't have a lot of real estate on my eyelids and can't generally do a wing, but this worked!! It took a time or two to get placement and amount of liner right, but I'll be using this one!

I loved this video Dominique! Amusing and entertaining. For me, the L shape blush hack was the most applicable. The eye shadow stripes and blend is a no go. LOL.
I use Jane Iredale Smooth Affair primer (a light moisturizer consistency), her powder foundation (comes in a compact), then Pommist hydration spray. No liquid foundation step. Their makeup artist told me this spray kind of transforms it into a liquid so you have the thinnest layer with great coverage. I really love it! I’m a makeup fiend so it doesn’t keep me from constantly buying other products, but I’ve always had the best results with that. You should get them to send you some if you haven’t used it.

I love Jane Iredale's compact mineral foundation, spray, and her concealer. I have been using her products for 30 years. I understand most soap opera stars use her foundation for it's great coverage and staying power.
I loved all these hacks because I love experimenting with makeup. I’m 55 and want to live very alive. Girls just want to have fun and what a way to have fun. The lipstick hack is 🔥🔥🔥

You can also split a tissue in half to absorb any oils on your face you want to tone down if you have oily skin or have applied too much face oil. I usually do this to my eyelids to absorb oil that get on there after applying face oil before I do my eyeshadow.

I'm in my 70s and had so much fun watching this. As a teenager I did the powder on the eyelashes but not like the Tiktoker. One coat of mascara would go on, then I used a spoolie and brushed the powder in the same way that you put on mascara and then followed that with another coat of mascara. The vertical lines of different eyeshadows we also did when I was in my 20s (long time ago). The powder over lipstick - ditto. Learned it from my mother. I will use the hacks for contour and blush as they "lift" the face and I will try that foundation hack as well. Thanks so much for this video!! 🩷

I personally won’t try any of those, maybe the lipstick one only although it would be a nude color, because I like very soft makeup but this was so entertaining! My favorite of all was yours to simplify contouring, though I think I will have to try the smudge of eyeliner in the corners since I shake a lot and I actually liked how it turned out on your left eye. Thanks for all your inspiration.
Great video Dominique! For the powder and mascara hack, I use another version to prevent my mascara from smudging because of my oily eyelids. I powder my lashes while setting my concealer. Apply eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara and voila! No smudging for at least 8 hours whatever the mascara I use! ❤️

I've used the lipstick hack before. Instead of just tearing the tissue in two, I took it apart to make it one ply instead of two ply and then put the powder over the tissue. I didn't do the blush over the lipstick because I had never heard of that addition to the hack. I don't use this hack much anymore because I like to put a little gloss over my lipstick to give it a little shine. Thanks for the contour hack. I'll have to try that the next time I buy contour. I was never good at it before, but I'm going to try it using your hack.
I have used the freezer hack for eyeliners to sharpen them then wait until they get back to room temperature to use them.

I will try your contour hack and the blush hand placement hack for sure! The lipstick hack looks amazing, but I don't often wear lipstick as I wear Buxom plumping lipgloss mostly, but when I do I will remember that hack. The only other thing that was interesting was the eyelash trick but I don't use my lash curler anymore because I noticed it was pulling out hairs. And it is really high quality and I was really careful... Could be because I'm over 50 and I'm a strawberry blonde so my eyelashes are, I think?, more delicate.

This works on my 55 year old face when I holiday in humid heat. I live in Tasmania, warm summers but lowish humidity. When I go further north than Sydney or holiday in tropics it works. Take the primer out and this is based on a Wayne Goss tutorial. Love Tassie Joy

I use a light color eye shadow on my lashes, then two coats of mascara, drying each coat separately. Works nicely for me.
At the end, I think you look really good !
