Dominique, I LOVE how you always honor God. I had to bring my daughter home from studying abroad for a medical emergency, almost lost my dad to the RSV virus, to bringing him home to care for him at home (I’m a nurse) to my mom “slipping the rug from under us”…passing away a mere 3 weeks ago. You want to talk about being sucker punched over & over. And although I’ll admit I am a title confused in this raw moment, I know for a fact that if it wasn’t for my faith I wouldn’t have survived these past few week. I picked my very first Bible and have been reading it almost every morning. I’m holding on to God more than I have ever in my life. I am so incredibly grateful for the relationship I have with HIM. I know HE will bring me through the valley I’m in right now. Thank you again for always praising our Lord & Savior.

Much love. 💕 I agree, I'm suffering a recent loss but I have more joy and peace that that and even my husband is surprised because my life is changing immensely for losing mt best friend. I just lost my grandmother two years ago that was like a mom. We always miss them and carry them with us. If not for the relationship with Jesus I know I wouldn't be able to carry through this way. 🙏✨🕊️ I'm happy if He can use these experiences for His glory! The positive to come out of the negative.

I agree with you - Get the exercises done by noon at the latest or they fly out of the window ! I also agree with everything you said about living a healthy lifestyle = the best food that you can afford, plenty of fresh air and exercise every day (and a glass of wine while relaxing in the evening !).....your lovely Mother was testament to that. Thank you so much for this video, I loved every minute of it.

My Dad passed away Wednesday evening 8/28/ 2024. I was so depressed when I awoke in the morning, almost having a preminition that I wouldn't have him much longer. However, your words came to mind also: that it is times like these when we must press into our faith and have gratitude for all of our blessings. Those words brought immediate comfort. Thank you, Dominique.

My dear mother a couple years ago and it gets so hard sometimes but thankful God loaned her to me for the time he did. She was my best friend and everything I see or hear seems to remind me of her. I can relate to you and it will be okay and I am in this with you and yes you are continuing your moms legacy. My mom was blessed to
Live a long life and I am the youngest of 7 kids and was her baby girl and even named after her. When I lost her I felt I couldn’t breathe anymore because we were like best friends. Now I hold on to those memories and still
Cry which is okay, but just thankful for the
Memories she left behind and for God loaning her to me and her shining a light to everyone. I just wanted to share that with you and will pray God to wrap his arms around you like he does me to get you through these times and he will. ❤️🥰🙏

My beautiful mother had a lovely leopard robe and I thought of her immediately, when I saw you in your mother’s. If we are fortunate and blessed enough to have a strong relationship with our mothers, like you and I were, they become such an integral fiber of our being. Even once they leave this earthly place. My mother passed 41 years ago, when I was just 26. Yet today, when I saw your robe, I instantly “felt her presence” just as you did with your mom. My mom was a fun, classy lady, full of life much like yours. I wonder if they have become friends in the “here after” and decided to visit us together today through your beautiful VLOG? Either way, thank you for that “moment” 💝

I lost my mom on June 10, 2023. I retired June 1, 2019 and it took 6 months to figure out the what next. I always said I’d retire when I started having grandchildren. At 62 I retired. My father retired at 65 and passed away at 69. Since I have similar health issues as my dad, I wonder. Six months into retirement I became my mom’s primary care provider for the 3&1/2 years until her passing. Still very lost and have many emotional days. Yesterday I took my first step in my me first mission. Signed up for a weight loss program (I can’t do it on my own). And today yoga classes. I have a slight torn meniscus from lifting my mom so need to take it easy. Best wishes to you as you journey forward without your mom.

I love that you share Time with Jesus, as I also begin my day the same. My big takeaway is your journaling at the end of your day with a focus on your gratitude. I love this and want to start the same. My husband passed away a month ago at the age of 87. Like your mom he was a vibrant man who loved life. But Alzheimer’s tried to take that away from him. I believe God’s love for him gave him the fight to be able to go with dignity and love for his family. Your manner of dealing with your grief has inspired me to hold fast to God and his purpose for me in this new season. God bless you Dominique.💕

I so enjoyed your vlog today. I have to say I envy how you can exercise. I am very disciplined in my eating and also intermittent fast. Up until a year ago I always did my morning walks, then I had a repair on my torn meniscus, which has now left me bone on bone. Also, I love the fact that you include the importance of God in your life and videos. I do not know where I would be without HIM. On a last note, I had a 90+ friend I got acquainted with when I worked at a retirement center. She told me she has journaled every day of her life since the early 40's! She even wrote down what the weather was like for each day. How neat that would be to compare and look back on. She left her children with books and books of journals. What a treasure! Have a blessed day.

I agree with you, exercising is vital for us women in midlife. And life is beautiful and painful sometimes, happy and sad. It is all about appreciating the good times and overcoming the hard ones. I hope you are adjusting to all the recent changes in your life. Glad to see you happy and enjoying life. And we should all be as active as Audrey was, and enjoy our senior years like she did.❤

Hi. I make my bed every day too. And I don't know how anybody gets by without prayer and their creator in their life. I know I couldn't do it. I'm glad you encourage others to be close to God because we all have a spiritual need that we need to acknowledge.

Dear Dominique, Thank you for the video. I just wanted to mention something. When you got up in the morning ,you said ( good morning city) which is a very nice touch while how much more it would be if you express this fantastic feeling to God if you say( good morning God) . I preferred to write a comment regarding to this as I know you have a strong faith in God which is amazing .
    with everything blessing

And, so glad to see that journaling is helping you. As a lifestyle coach, I often recommend it to my clients. It certainly has been a lifeline for me for many, many years. Peace and blessings.

This was one of your best videos because you shared your day, thoughts and things you are most compassionate about. These were great suggestions to enhance me life. I have been wanting to try yoga classes instead of TV. I think I shall. So many on here do not share their lives/thoughts. They are on to sell/$$ and they feel it is sooo wrong to share ones personal feelings. You broke that mold and are exemplary in "Giving of Ones Self to Help Others!" Thank You for your caring nature! GIRL POWER!

For those who dislike the taste of stevia, we found xylitol is all natural from birch trees and is THE best tasting. Also good for fighting the bacteria that cause tooth decay. For someone who hates all sugar substitutes, it's amazing to like xylitol so much.
