My first Commercial mower back in 2002 was a Exmark Metro 36 Kohler Command 13hp gear drive and paid $1200 had loooow hours and it still runs and only needed a new gear assembly.... I used ot as a Bush Hog and it never failed...Awesome!!
@@TRX2021 nope this is the first sulky I have ever owned! The problem is I’m so used to hydrostatic systems like going into a corner and reversing! Well it’s not that easy just to throw a belt drive in reverse!
Yo, I just got myself a Toro Grandstand HDX with the 31hp Kaw 52" cut, and it's a monster! I was originally set on getting a Badboy Revolt, but multiple dealers talked me out of it. Apparently, the company's support and availability are so bad that dealers are dropping the line. I waited three whole weeks for the dealer's rep to bring me a unit, but he never showed up. He kept saying he had one, then he was looking for one. I saw firsthand the issues they're having.
@@coleheigle Started on 36" and 48" belt drives in 1983. Amazing yards with tricky contours. Old money towns. Always loved the belt drives. We walked behind them all. Contours and topography. Today I bet they use push mowers, but I like to think belt drives still rule the shore.
Hey Cole, great video. Thanks for the content. I purchased the Exmark 36 Metro and I’m out here in GA starting my landscaping company. I’m curious to know, what you charged for this job. And how do you go about your pricing? My thoughts is if you took 6-6.5 hours. Not sure how much the mulch and plants were. Im guessing perhaps $200. And with your labor x 2 with you and Eli. $600-650. I’m thinking total price is $800. Am I crazy or is that about right?😊
You’re close, but everyone charges different in this industry! Basically I have a set price per yard of mulch I buy and charge for plants plus to pick them up from nursery! Then bed prep, spraying, planting for this particular landscape was all charged hourly. Good rule of thumb if you have an employee I’ve learned to charge per man hour whatever you pay him say $15 per hour you need to at least make $60 per hour for just him which is 25%. Then the same for yourself
Yessir that a good deal. That one clean mower for the year foresure!!
Yes, that’s why I jumped on it as soon as I saw it. Even tho I had to drive 3 hours there to get it! Totally worth it!
What a smoking deal you got man… that’ll really help with your gate lawns. I’m looking for a 36” myself… sweet video as always bro…👍👍👍
Thank you and hope you find you one! Look on marketplace they are all over it!
I’m looking to pick up a walk behind myself. You got a great deal on this on for sure. Make that money 💰 👍🏾

Yes, I preordered my revolt and it came in like 6 months later! That’s one issue bad boy does have but luckily they have treated me well!

They are different for sure! But I’m getting used to it took a little while and it’s working for what I need it for!
