If you want it back, the /nastatus command is a toggle, it works to turn it back on as well. But lots of reasons why people would want to turn it off. It’s all down to personal preferences but the icon is very misleading 😅 Some people want it gone as it’s not a fair indication of if you are new or not. Some of the most hardcore players I have encountered spent their first 300 hours in the free trial across the base game and Heavensward without even hitting Stormblood etc, and still have sprouts because they didn’t do the other expansions yet. But those same people had grinded all jobs and classes to max level and completed every single bit of content there is to do, which is something that thousands of non-sprout players have never even achieved. Those players are not noobs at all, maybe they wanted to get the most out of the game and not rush it. Not to mention the fact we didn’t have sprouts back when the game launched. I say just let people do whatever they want to do ☺️
Ah so that's how you do it. Thanks! I'm not in a hurry to do it, but I'll probably turn the sprout icon off early at some point. What if when Dawntrail launches, they make it so you have to beat ENDWALKER before the sprout clears on its own? That would be funny.

I feel your pain. I had it still turned on all the way until Endwalker. As soon as it came off I was yelled at a couple of times by the FF elitists, it’s mainly the mentors playing on PC that get really angry. Like bro chill out I’m on console it’s going to take me a space age to type in the chat box 😭
@@finnaflexofficialthose people are the worst. I fear situations like that. 😢 Sometimes people need to understand that not everyone is a pro or going to play to your standards Theres thousands of players all with different situations, and making mistakes is normal.
im not a new player but a returner, when i was playing Post ShB quest i wasnt a sprout and when i played End walker I wasnt either but when i entered into Post-endwalker quest line i am...? Is it bcuz its full of new dungeons?
@@lThellRockl you get returner status anytime you take a break from the game for 45 days. When you log back in it gives you a message asking if you want to turn returners bounty off and you just say yes

you can also open social, right click your name, and edit search info to remove the sprout/returner icon

Well personally I don’t like it , it’s a plant at my name 🌱 I’m happy with it to stay in a garden while i play 😊

ive played the game over 500 hours and still have the sprout icon. why? it makes me feel safe for being bad at the game. lmao
