I used to hate Tucker Carlson (years ago, during his Crossfire years). Now I have so much respect for him.
    He didn't change. I did.

Great stories Mr Voight! I too heard 'that' voice in my 40's where He told me to "Live In The Spirit". We are not alone.

I've heard that voice also. I'd been through a bad time. Angry with God, while also grieving because my situation was really all my own fault.
Finally simmered down, after many months, & was enjoying some (pop) Christian music
Suddenly heard a calm, kind voice that said "Are you ready to listen now?" I was startled, but didn't doubt what I'd heard, though doubtless audible only to me. I answered, I think aloud, "I hope so. "
Heard it a couple of years later. I was told to go speak to someone...a woman I hoped to Not speak to... I'd just left a place only to avoid her. And I heard, "Go speak to the Mother".
I wondered at it. It was the same voice. It wasn't mine.
It was again, authoritative, calm, and kind.
I obeyed. I didn't know what to say to her, but when I got there, I felt calm & said exactly what needed to be said. It solved a big problem - just like that!
God is good always, and always with us.

"It's supposed to be difficult" - simple, straight forward. That's how the Lord speaks to each of us. IF WE ARE LISTENING, we discover He is speaking! Years ago, when I was certain I had messed my life and the lives of my children up beyond repair, He spoke "I'm going to change your whole life if you'll let me"- He graciously confirmed it two days later when I visited a new church. A woman asked if she could pray for me. She began praying, then spoke "God says He is going to change your whole life." I had already told Him two days earlier I would let Him. Since then He has done miraculous things. I struggle sometimes to "let Him", but He keeps changing my life to please Himself and I GET THE BLESSINGS! Jon Voight, thanks for sharing this encouraging story!! Bless you in Jesus name!

*When I was a college student, my roommate was studying acting. His class was given an opportunity to see a screening of "Coming Home" before it was released, and I was able to come along. I had the chance to ask him why he thought that the Vietnam War had not been covered by the movies up to that point--and he naturally told me that he thought the War had been too recent to be treated by Hollywood. Nice guy!*

I hope Jon reads these comments because I don't know how to write to him. I was amazed that he heard the voice - God's voice - the same voice I heard at a difficult time in my life. He expressed it perfectly by saying God knows us. I never knew how to express that and am so happy that Jon did. I would love so much to be able to sit down and have a conversation with him. We agree about everything.

I'm moved in a way that's hard to articulate. My kitchen ceiling caved in on me 3 days ago and I've been recovering from the concussion, pursuing a legal case against my landlord, struggling as a musician with a Utube channel and day job, while being caught in the social-politcal crossfire and raging against the tyranny that is, as Jon pointed out, raising the worms out of the ground. I haven't completely agreed with either side in the complexities of multiple issues, but am seeing more revealed under the deceptions that are being propelled by the current administration, from the mass censorship of credible people to the new level of social conditioning in public schools. I'm learning more all the time. Thank you Jon and Tucker. "It's supposed to be difficult".... That notion speaks to me!

I usually work on a craft at my desk while I listen to shows, but this time was different. I was as close as I could get to my iPad and listened intently throughout this program. Not once did I pick up any of my tools to work, and this is so rare because I am one who cannot listen to programs without keeping my hands busy and tonight they had been completely idle.
I’ve always loved and respected John Voight, and some of the questions Tucker had asked, I had been curious about, especially the one with him being such a minority in Hollywood and his way of thinking that rings true for so many of us in the Midwest or rural areas of our great nation.
And in closing, I’d have to say, when John had that twinkle in his eye at the end when he had been reinforcing what he had heard, I had found myself with the exact same chuckle. I don’t think those things happen to me. And I don’t think I’ve heard our Creator’s voice speak to me. In all actuality it hasn’t ever happened to me that I am aware of. Will it ever? Only God knows. I hope one day to hear from him while I am on this earth of ours, but there is no promise. For now, I will continue to be happy for those who have experienced it. Am I envious? Of course, I am, a bit, but I’m not jealous and even if I was, it wouldn’t get me very far now would it? Nah, it’s more fun to celebrate with others who have, and I truly believe their message can be shared with us, so we can think on it ourselves to help us in our lives.
Be well and stay smiling, life is good 🎈

In the Bible, when it reads do not kill…. This is it!! When you take away a persons freedom, you have taken their life. Freewill is the THING that separates us from the animals. They operate out of instinct. We are different. We have free will. It is the gift of God. It makes us like him.

    • @leaccordion

Correct, and when you stifle or kill a person's aspiration, that too is a form of destruction. To kill physically is bad enough, but to kill psychologically or spiritually is equally evil.

What about Juwal Noach Harari, in Davos, he already laid out the future for the entire world, so why should we warry about anything. We do not even have to think because they will think for us:-) Life will be so easy, simply nirvana. They will manage to sent people to the other side seamlessly without pain. But of course THEY want to live forever therefore the world will have to be depopulated, so there will be space for those who would deserve to live forever. Some already froze their entire body or only heads because it is cheaper (why not). Unfortunately one company did not pay the electricity bill and everything got rotten. What a pity.
