      ii_MDMN 8 I took chem in 10th grade also and just forgot everything. I don't know if you're planning to go to college, but chem in college is the exact same material as you learn in high school, it's just harder to make an A because normally colleges use chem as a freshman weed out class.

      guys stop with the "OMG IM IN GRADE 2 AND LEARNING THIS TOO!" yes, intro courses in colleges do teach this stuff again for the people who didnt get it the first time. If you take a real not catch up class it will be all new harder stuff.

    OMG! You are a God sent angle❤ my 16 yr old daughter was having the hardest time understanding how to write the formulas the way the teacher was teaching it so I had to help. I found your video and we watch it together and she clearly understood the way you taught it and I even had her do the practice problems to make sure she had the right answers you did. She will be watching all the videos you have until graduation😊 Thank you!

    the best thing about +tyler Dewitt's videos is that he is explaining himself on the upper right corner and using drawn diagrams on the other side which makes it easier for the viewer to understand . the other thing is that he uses easier things first and THEN goes to the difficult things . Thanks very much you helped me a LOT B4 my exams . Nice Channel .

    After 2 videos, a whole essay, and steps to try and explain this to me, I learned nothing. All I learned is that this is very hard to explain and no one is doing it right. After I watched this video, I can understand the topic! No need for big words, just a simple explanation with a quick walk through. Thank you!

    An easy way to do it for me is to just criss cross the charges. Super simple.

    • @tdewitt451
      @tdewitt451  8 років тому +135

      +Jen L NOO!!!! DON'T DO IT THAT WAY!!! I hate that method and I don't talk about it here, because so many teachers tell their students to do it, but then the students have NO IDEA what they're doing. The point here is that you need the charges to balance: for example, you need two (2) Na+ to balance out one (1) O 2-. So if you understand how that works, then yeah you can use the criss-cross method, but PLEASE make sure that you understand how these charges balance out.

I mean they learn everything from videos instead reading a crap pieces of writing from google search. This guy, Mr Tyler is the best teacher I have ever seen.
