Murrin Park Loop Trail (Quercus, Jurassic Ridge and Sea Cliffs) | Hiking | Squamish, BC

- Murrin Park is located in Squamish, British Columbia, a 45 minute-drive from Vancouver. It features Browning lake - famous for swimming, fishing and picnic; and has several rock climbing walls. The viewpoints offer beautiful views of the Howe Sound.
We did the loop to the Quercus viewpoint, Jurassic ridge, lower trail to the Sea Cliffs and to the second viewpoint, then back to Browning lake and looped back along the sea-to-sky highway.

The beautiful nature sceneries of the area definitely help relieve stress. This is the perfect place to relax during weekends just, sitting on the rocks enjoying the scenery, enjoy the fresh air, enjoy the sounds of the lake below...

Is there any climbing wt ropes needed coz i saw in one of the photos, people are climbing up wt ropes.I'm bringing my kids so do we need to use ropes just to climp up or just theres a path where you don't need any ropes for climbing.
Hi, the area with ropes don't really require climbing. It's just a bit inclined.The ropes could help you so you have something to hold on to. I think it should be okay with kids, just take your time and don't rush in that area. Or you may also just go to Quercus viewpoint which don't have that steep area with ropes. Hi, yes it is. Just follow the trail going to the sea cliffs. Enjoy your hike!
How long is the hike up and is it a safe trail .
Hi Emie, It depends on how far you plan to hike. There are many options for this trail. If you want to hike up to the Jurassic and Quercus viewpoint only, it will take around 2 hours round-trip. This is a popular and family-friendly hike, so I would say this is a safe trail. But of course, basic hiking preparedness is still necessary. Thanks for watching and hope you have a great hike!

@@emieocampo1882 The bench view is Jurassic. It's not that far from Quercus viewpoint, probably 10 - 15 minutes. I suggest you do both. Both viewpoints will take 2 hours roundtrip. Thank you, have a great hike!
