Okay, you inspired me! I've been wanting to read "Jane Eyre" for a while, so I think I'm just gonna go for it after I finish the current books I'm reading. And a thousand times "YES!" to Lamplighter books...and Pilgrim's Progress...and Caddie Woodlawn...and Little Women....yup, you did really well on your selections! (I also love the new TV show "All Creatures Great and Small" but I haven't read James Herriot's works). :)
I was looking for cozy fall books and came across your page- I had no idea you would be Christian. That made me so happy to find out you are. It makes these book recommendations all the more sweet !!!
From my childhood I can recommend (she may have already read these) : The Hobbit - an easier read than the full Lord of the Rings series, but LOTR is doable for an advanced reader, The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe series by C. S. Lewis, The Little House on the Prairie series, Enid Blyton adventure series, A Wrinkle in Time, The Secret Garden, Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling, all Roald Dahl books. Hope that helps!
Absolutely! The Little House on the Prairie series, The Cricket in Times Square, Ben and Me (and) Mr. Revere and Me... There are a lot of good books for that age group, but what are the interests of the 11 year old?

It is a good book!! Oh yeah, I figured we had read a lot of the same books 😂💕, and I am so glad that you like the show (it's so peaceful). Thanks sis!
This was a really inspiring video. Thanks so much for sharing so many great reads!
Thank you so much, I hope you have a lovely autumn of reading 🍂

Do you have any suggestions for an 11 year old girl who LOVES to read?

She's read Lord of the Rings. That family reads so much. Ill have to ask Bobbi which of those series she hasn't read yet.
Ok, then I definitely agree that then Chronicles of Narnia is a great choice!
I would bet she read that too.
