I only did this segmented video because I thought it would be kinda fun to do and I didn't think anyone one would care for it since I dont post on any leaderboards or mention anywhere that it is the worlds first of its kind or anything of that sort. Gino or the Team hittless discord should have just told me to change the title of the Video and I would have happily obliged them (instead they kind of rappid fire posted negative comments throughout the whole day which made me panic instead, since I am not used to all of that attention 😞). I ended up changing the title of the video to better reflect what type of run this is (a segmented one, one that relies on cuts/splices in order get through the run without beeing hit). I hope you can forgive me and I am very much looking forward to you beating the DLC with a legit no hit run (If anyone can do it then I am 100% certain its you). Much love back ^_^.

watching the run was cool but how come your stats at 11:48 and 14:25 don't match? At 11:48 you had 80 str and arcane and after rellana at 14:25 you had 75? and your endurance was lower. unless I'm missing something with the talismans or whatnot no shade just wondering is all
Thats due to Godricks great rune which gives you + 5 in all stats as long as you have it active (it however doesnt show up during leveling since its not a permanent stat up, similarly to how talismans that boost your levels in a stat also dont show up during it) ^_^.

I think you are talking about the stats, right? if so it's due to godrick's great rune which gives you +5 in every stat (+ the fact that great runes, talismans and other items that boost your stats like helmets and crystal tears only show in the equipment menu and not during level up screens when you rest) ^_^.

I will not watch this video cause I didn't finished the DLC yet, but I have a question: is there a category (planned) for speed / no hit runs where the DLC needs to be finished while starting with a new character at the beginning of the base game? It would be fun to see which route they take to finish Rhadan und Mohg as fast as possible to enter the DLC. Looking forward to watch this one day :)
Thats a really good question ^_^. I do believe that it would make sense for there to be such a category (especially since I have seen people beat both mohg as well as base game radahn within half an hour of starting the game, though they did abuse glitches/exploits to be able to achieve that).
Oh boy, I think it took about 150 hours until I finally managed to get the no hit run in (I was really lucky to get the dlc a couple of days before the release as well, which allowed me to put quite a few extra hours in early) ^_^.
Congratulations for this accomplishment 🎉❤ I think you can still reduce the time by quitting out some encounters and running past them (and door openings) or only using runes in places like elevators. Also staying online for challenge runs is insane, if you get invaded it's over lol
@@NikoBellic0_0 I believe self-inflicted damage or environmental damage (lava/lake of rot) don't count as a "hit" since no enemy/AI boss is actually trying to hit you.
I lost about 3 runs to the beginning of radahns second phase, due to the fact that he didn't get staggered immediately after the charged attack (which sucks especially since if you get that stagger in, before he does his large aoe attack you basically win).
Some of the running sections near the end was so scuffed! Boss fights were good! I wonder how many attempts this run took cuz I can't imagine this run taking less than 50 attempts with unoptimized running sections like that & quitouts being allowed in this No Hit Run feels weird.

Fastest run I’ve seen so far🤯 I have a quick question, I’m doing my 2nd run on the dlc, am already with Radahn and I wanted it to try your build, I have the same exact one, but I’m not doing the same amount of damage, what could it be?
Thank you and yeah going around rellana would have maybe saved about 1 minute initially (though I did need that scadutree fragment you pick up in castle ensis in order to reach Scadutree level 12 by the end of the run, so the alternative would have resulted in the other bosses maybe taking a hit more to beat) ^_^.

Let me give a quick run down of the build (it was in normal new game btw). For starters you wanna use a build that has 80 points in strength as well as 80 points in arcane to hit the hardcaps of both of those stats as well as 25 points in faith in order to be able to cast the incantations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden Vow" which both grant quite a lot of multiplicative damage ups (I also recommend equipping godricks great rune in order to get +5 stat points in all attributes + the faith knot tear which grants you + 10 stat points in faith in order to cut down on the required levels and to put the rest of your levels into endurance for the stamina). For talismans you need the ritual sword talisman which grants you 10% aditional damage, the axe talisman which grants + 10% damage for charged attacks, the two handed sword talisman from the dlc which grants an aditional 15% damage as long as you dual wield a two handed weapon + the lord of blood talisman which grants an aditional 20% damage once you proc bleed on an enemy. For armor you really only need the white mask which grants an aditional 10% damage once you proc bleed (which stacks with the blood talisman). For the physick flask you should also use the spiked cracked tear which deals an additional 10% damage on charged attacks. Now lastly you wanna use a fully upgraded Bloodfiend arm with the cragblade ash of war (which deals + 10% damage + 15% aditional stagger damage) + a blood infusion (which makes the weapon scale insanly well with strength + arcane + gives it a bleed proc of about 220 which hits twice during charged attacks). Now you combine all of those multiplicative damage buffs on top of the scadutree levels I picked up during the run which buffs the damage by even more (especially since the patch from a couple of days ago made the first 10 levels even more powerfull and I was at level 12 by the end of the run) and you get a trully powerfull build which can proc bleed on bosses with a single charged attack ^_^.

+ dont forget that each starting class (even the wretch) starts of with some levels in each stat from the get go (for instance with the wrecth class you start of with 10 stats in everything at RL 1).
Messmer is one of the 4 mandatorry bosses you need to beat in the dlc, if you want to go for a glitchess run (the others being, romina, needle knight leda and radahn). Now rellana + the golden hippo on the other hand you can actually skip by going through a different longer route (but it would have resulted in the run taking longer, so I decided to just go for them as well) ^_^.
Congratulations on an incredible speedran. Could you show your walkthrough from the beginning of the game to the expansion. The video shows that it only took you three hours to do it. If it is not a secret and if it does not take much time, of course. I would really like to see this mvarshrut. Thank you very much.
I've been using the invocations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden vow" (both of which add quite a bit of extra damage). For talismans I went for the axe talisman (+10% damage to charge attacks), two-handed sword talisman (+15% damage when two-handing a weapon), lord of blood talisman (+20% damage when inflicting bleed on an enemy) + ritual sword talisman (+10% damage when at full hp) ^_^.

Sad to see a spliced run, but at least this gave me the motivation to do the actual first ever dlc no hit

Doesn't the assassins gambit inflict some damage on the player though? (because if so I don't know if it would be allowed in a no hit run)

You don't need to fight Rellana to access UmbraAltos. You can access it through the Fort of Reprimand.

I've been using the invocations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden vow" (both of which add quite a bit of extra damage).
For talismans I went for the axe talisman (+10% damage to charge attacks), two-handed sword talisman (+15% damage when two-handing a weapon), lord of blood talisman (+20% damage when inflicting bleed on an enemy) + ritual sword talisman (+10% damage when at full hp) ^_^.

That would be the bloodfiend arm (you can pick it up at the beginning of the dlc and its straight up op if you go for a bleed build) ^_^.
Were there any rules for the starting equipment you brought in or was it just start at level 150
